"Another great transaction from the guys at banana hobby. I still dont know why they have such a low rating . This is my third overseas transaction from them . I have a art tech shark 450 and the guys at banana hobby seem to be the only guys who actually have what i need in stock. I also bought a few items from xheli on the same day . I am yet to receive those items or a email that the products have been sent. With banana hobby i got three emails as usual 1- order 2- processing and 3- conformation of postage. I'm sure i'll get my xheli gear but to say that banana sucks and xheli are better .... well not in this case. I cant speak better of their service with the banana boys although xheli is a bit cheaper i'm yet to get my goods and banana hobby came through as always.If you ask me make up your own mind and stuff what people say.try them . If they stiff you , take your business else where. If They look after you like they do for me then keep using them . I have and will continue to do so ."
"bought high dollar copter and when it would not bind called support and was on hold for 40 min's and all they would do was e-mail instructions, not impressed with there support, and always out of stock , they have jet i want hope next time it's better , products are good just support sucks"

"Overall - worst experience I have ever had. I ordered the F-117 from bananahobby when it said backorder. I completely understood that the plane was planned to come in mid june (so about a month) I wanted then all of a sudden (late June) I get an email saying it has been shipped. After 2 delays with shipping I finally get my F-117 but notice that the box that was supposted to be huge was about 6x4x4??? A little small to be a plane. I ended up getting 2 little guys that go into a plane. In other words I got another guys order. I called that guy and he said this is the 3rd time he had ordered from them to try to get these 2 little men. They cut me no slack. I am still waiting for my original order. All I wanted was my plane, so I tried to get faster shipping but they just didn't seem like they cared at all and were only worried about getting their 2 little men back before I got my plane back! I will never buy from them again!"
"hey guys banana hobbies is a ripoff site.
i purchased a 6 channel f-15 eagle from bh and was totally shocked. 90% assembled is a joke and the radio supplied is even worse.on the first flight one elevator broke off because of the cheap plastic parts used. the trust vectoring cannot be disabled from the radio. when i contacted bh they wanted pictures and all kinds of information.as far as the videos of Pete flying the jets you'll notice he never uses the included radio but his own radio that's because the radio is a piece of junk.has for customer satisfaction i would give this place a 5 thumbs down rating.so guys BEWARE IF YOU PLAN TO BUY ANYTHING FROM BANANA HOBBIES"
"I have nothing but good things to say about banana hobby and especially Daniel in sales and Pete. They have always treated me good whether I bought anything or not and when ever I needed to talk to them they were always they for me to answer any question I had. People out there get po'd cuz something they bought from them breaks but u guys gotta understand that its called a hobby for a reason and sh!t happens...beyond anybodys control. I will continue to deal with bh for as long as I'm into the Rc hobby. "
"Needless to say, I love Banana Hobby's products and couldn't be more satisfied with my purchases. It's terrible to read such degrading reviews about this company. Anyone purchasing from an online store should read the company policy (shipping, warranty, return) prior to even placing an order. It seems the only people complaining are those who have no idea that they're hobby aircraft isn't a toy, that shipping time frames are posted on websites for a reason, and that retailers are not manufacturers. If you are literate, experienced in the Electric RC Hobby and realize that shipments can become damaged in transit, then Banana Hobby will give you no problems whatsoever. They've improved their customer service a great deal and remain one of my favorite vendors of RC Products.

"I have ordered a number of items from banana hobby and have never had problems like others have described. my orders were always shipped on time, if an item is on preorder or backorder it clearly is listed on the order page to warn you of that. their 866 number doesn't work, just use the 626 #! Sara let me know its because that number is for international callers only and if its within the US it won't go through. A couple years ago it was hard to get in touch with them, but since they have updated their phone system the wait time rarely exceeds 10 minutes for phones. live chat takes no more than 2 or 3 minutes to be connected and sarah has also told me that they prefer phone calls or live chat because emails takes a couple days to respond to. they are a great company and they back their products as long as you follow the warranty. be sure to read it under the support tab and as long as you follow that you wont have any problems. "
"o k ive had some angry bloggers who r just angry poeple, my expierience has been, i too loked at the negative blogs and didnt want to order first from banana hobby, then when i did furthwer research i ordered form banana hobby,i have had no problem what so ever. the phones at times r a bit slo but worth the wait, ive ordered about 10 planes so far everyone of them was shipped to me on time the planes are beautiful im a very happy customer"
"Order a 6ch Cessna 182 on 3/19/10. It was a preorder, so I did wait a while for the plane, but that was not a big deal. The real problem came when I opened the box to find the decals had not been applied properly, so when they wrapped the fuselage in bubble wrap, the decals stuck to it. Of course after removing the bubble wrap, the decal was destroyed! The landing gear wheels were unusable, the hubs were off center by 1/4 inch! The cowl had been painted, the paint was damaged and unacceptable! Now to be fair, this is actually a Art-Tech model and Banana Hobby probably never even opened the box to check quality assurance. The real problem comes when I tried to contact BH. First of all don't even bother with the phone number! You will have to use live chat. After describing my issues with the plane, they had me send pictures. After reviewing my pictures, they offered me a $5.00 refund! I responded saying $5.00 was a joke and an insult. There next response was that I was too picky and that these models are shipped from China, so there is bound to be slight damage, and that I should send the whole works back for a total refund! I, in turn requested the parts to repair the plane myself and was informed that there is not one single replacement part available, which there website clearly states that all spares are available! In the end I bought wheels and repainted the cowl, and actually love the plane, but don't order it from here, It is available from sites that are much easier to deal with!

"We ordered the J. Power Cessna 182 ON MARCH 28, 2010. We finally received it a week and a half later. the first thing I noticed was that the box said Blitz RC instead of J.Power but in comparing the pictures on bananas website it seems to be the same plane , and we could not get them to answer the phone, a problem that seems to be chronic. I then went on to assemble the plane, and soon ran into some problems. The electronics, (ESC and apparent antennae) were not mounted and there were no instructions other than for the actual construction of the plane itself, nothing for the electronics, no owner’s manual. We once again could not get them on the phone. I finally mounted the electronics w/Velcro. This seems to work. After hooking up the battery we then ran into our next problem. The motor vibrates; once again we can't get them on the phone, because the wings as well as the tail section glue together putting it back in the box and sending it back are not an option. I decided to fly it. That’s when it got really ugly. The engine fell off on take off. Of course it was only a few feet off the ground but it came down hard enough to break the front landing gear. We have emailed to no avail. Do not buy from them!!!"

They don't want to talk with customers. They do NOT return phone calls.They want all comunication to be by email. Their response is terrible at best. I placed my order and then got very suspicious. After a week to give my credit card charge to clear, I decided to visit their facility and pick up my order. I had to make an appointment to visit them. When I got to the facility the front door was locked and I had to ring a door bell. They asked to see my identification and that was fine, however, they wanted to make a copy of my driver's license. I refused. I asked for the name of the owner and they refused to tell me. I'm getting the name of the owner thru the state and I will publish it on here when I get it.
It really appears that this company is involved in identy theft. As a result of my experience, I'm sure they are going to be investigated. PLEASE beware. THIS is serious. DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY have access to your credit cards."

Guess thay do what thay did to me to alot of people. oredered a esky bell 222 . said it was in stock on the web page. made my order on saterday knew thay were shut down for the weekend. got one email when I oreded ,saying it took. waited till tuesday to find out what was going on becuse I did not get another email saying the staus of the order . had to contact with the live chat ,there phone # was always busy. the person told me the order was taken and it would be pacaged and sent the next day .. that night right as thay were closing I got a email telling me that item was out of stock and thay wern't going to charge our card. next morning the $426 was with drawn that moring . got on this sight and saw the reviews, so we contacted our cc co and told them it was a bad order. lucky we did get our refund soon but have a feeling it had to do with calling the credit card co. dont waste your time with them . sad also becuse pete seemed like there co would be grate. eather he doesnt know whats going on with the ordering or he could sell snake oil to a snake lol . realy bad co . try xheli.com alot better experiance"

This is not the place you want to do business with period. The Better Business Bureau gives them an F rating. The worst possible Rating due to their misleading advertising, unresolved customer problems and unethical business practices. My 1st order from them was over a year ago and it never shipped. I kept calling and they'd say it's shipping today for sure but it never did. After a while I told them to cancel my order but they wouldn’t credit my Visa card. I ended up having to call my credit card company to reverse the charges.
Ends up they are the only ones that have a certain EDF Jet that I really wanted so I tried them one more time in hopes they’d improved their service. No such luck, same story. This order didn’t ship as promised and then they said it would go out for sure that day and it didn’t. Then the next day and it didn’t so I called for an update to see where my plane was now that’s it’s been a week and they told me that it just went out of stock. Before my order I called them and they said they had a bunch in stock so currently I still don’t have a plane, still don’t have a credit and I expect I’ll be on the phone with Visa this week trying to get my money back, again.
This bunch gives the Hobby and On-line ordering a bad name and after finding this review site and reading how many people have been screwed by them I’m hoping some legal path ends up putting them out of business. All we can do is pull together and spread the word to others so they don’t suffer the nightmare that is BananaHobby.
