"I originally bought a nook simple touch and it stopped working within a week so i had it exchanged through warranty. Even though i bought the nook new they gave me a used one. I let that pass and decided to go with the exchange. They told me to bring my power adapter back and they didnt give me a new one. I called them up and i got a customer service rep tried to tell me that the nook doesn't come with a power adapter and that my warranty had expired even though i bought the nook a week ago. I spent an hour on the phone even though all they had to do was send me a new one. Then the "new" nook i got under warranty was also a defective one. I call them up again and they sent me a new one and they said i would get a confirmation email with instructions how to send it back. They never did and i emailed them and they never responded. Now they will bill my credit card even though they sent me no information on how to send my old nook back. These are the most incompetent but of folks i've ever had to deal with. Worst customer service ever. "
"The only complaint I have with this order was with the UPS to USPS tracking. Once the order was passed to USPS, there was no scheduled delivery date. I really enjoy doing business with B&N in general.

"It was frustrating. I bought a gift card believing I could use it to purchase a NOOK book for my pc. Turns out I absolutely must have a credit card on file as well.
It's ridiculous to say you can use the gift card online and then turn around and say that you must also have a credit card as well.
I will never give a gift card from barnes and noble to anyone I know.
Not everyone has a credit card and not everyone feels comfortable using them online.
I feel this is very shortsighted of the Barnes and Noble team."
