My order was placed on 7/20 for a tablet for 60$ and i got a mail the next day saying that label is generated and the hipping will b done. and today is 7/26 still the status is the same on the UPS site. There is no contact number and the email id they have provided is just useless... no 1 replies. DO NOT buy stuff from here because they just create a label saying the shipment is ready but the order is never shipped. "
"I have ordered more than 5 items from Ben's Outlet ranging from $200 all the way to $2.. I haven't had a problem with any of the orders. When they sent me a tracking number and it doesn't show up on the USPS site I wait a couple days and miraculously its there. People sometimes need to be a little patient. "Stay away from these guys. Placed an order on 7/12/12 for an 8GB Micro SDHC Card. A few days later they replied with an email saying it was shipped with a tracking number. The only problem is the tracking number is bogus. I have emailed them and all I get is a canned reply saying they're having a problem with their tracking numbers and to give it 10 days. WTF?, it's already been 12 days, you morons! Still don't have my merchandise."
"I ordered samsung galaxy note with order no.R656413376 with bens outlet on 07/17/2012 costing aroudn 519$. I verified in their website that the delivery time will be 3 -10 days. Am leaving US on 27th and the shipping address given will never be accessible from 28th. I got a mail with the shipping tracking number 1ZE5490V4253031948 . But, the tracking number says that the UPS label is created, but not shipped. The website says "Shipped". I contacted the support number of times, as my time limit is jsut 1 week to get the product. But, one person named janet replied differently and Yuset is replying differently. Am really worried as nothing comes in control as we donot have telephone customer support. Now i see many reviews saying shipping takes a lot of time. Am totally bugged as 520$ is not a small amount :(. "
"Just a horrible, horrible company. Ordered an item and given fake tracking information. They do not respond to emails in a timely fashion. When they do it's some bogus canned reply that says they are experiencing problems. I still have not received my item and probably won't for a long time to come."
"I'm totally DISSATISFIED with bensoutlet. Made a purchase on Jun 28 2012 for 199.99 got a bogus tracking number the following day. Sent emails to them inquiring about my purchase. I got 2 canned emails and that was it. I emailed them several more times with no response. I finally open a dispute with paypal and also my credit card company. DO NOT PURCHASE from these crooks. This is a lesson learned from me, stick with reputable companies and spend a few extra dollars for quality service."

"I placed my first order with them, a cheap tablet, a few months ago. I received it reasonably quickly, and although disappointing it was pretty much as described.
I ordered a second item, an e-reader, last month. Unfortunately, my experience with that has so far been the same as other recent posters, I got "confirmation" that it had shipped the next day, but ten days later UPS is still reporting that only the shipping label was created but that they never received and scanned the actual package. Of course my credit card has already been billed.
Customer Service, when they eventually get around to responding, claims that they are "very busy", but that in no way explains why I was told that the item shipped ten days ago when in reality UPS has never touched it. Currently warning all of my friends that I had told about my tablet purchase to not deal with these people.
UPDATE: After posting the above review, the package was finally given to UPS the same day. Two days later, before the package had arrived, I received a phone call from Judith in customer support. Judith started by apologizing for the problems I had using the tracking system. I interrupted her and explained that I did not have a problem with the tracking system, it worked fine and properly indicated that the package had not been shipped until after my review, even though Ben's claimed it was shipped 10 days earlier. My problem was with the honesty of the company in saying that the package was shipped when it wasn't. We talked for quite a while, but I never did learn why they say the package was shipped so long before it really shipped, or even if it would have shipped then if I had not written the review. Judith did offer me a $10 "credit", but it can only be applied to a future order, and there is no way to apply it when making a future purchase, I have to contact her after a future purchase is applied to my credit card and then try to get her to issue a credit (that being the case, it would seem that she could just issue it against the last purchase). Judith did ask me to edit my review, I'm doing so but all of my concerns about the company are still the same.
By the way, the e-reader is really underpowered, more often than not does not respond to user input. Easy to see why it was so low priced, unless my refurb unit is still defective. Had been intended as a gift but nothing I'm willing to give anyone. "
"Never buy any Philips batteries, from this seller. While I have purchased other items from them and been very happy with the price, product and service, I am not planning on doing any more business with them. In April, I purchased a bout 15.00 worth of AA and AAA batteries. The order date was 4/21. I received the AAA on 4/28, but the AA did not arrive until 5/5 and that was after I sent them an email, stating the AA had not arrived. They never sent me a notification of any shipping problem. Since I finally had the batteries, I let it go. However, the 4th of July, I needed batteries for my camera. After inserting two AA, I found they were dead. After the fifth pair of batteries, still being dead, I gave up and used my phone camera. On the 4th, I sent the company an email, telling them of the problem. Their reply was was that it was over 30 days and there was nothing I could do. Most people do not sit down, open all the packages and test all the batteries, when they buy them. Many of their other products have a manufacturer's warranty, besides the Ben's 30 day. The Philips batteries do not. The company did nothing to try and satisfy the customer or make this right. All I got out of this was a bunch of dead batteries. Very disappointed."
"They say 100% satisfaction guarantee! They are terrible! I ordered the solar lamps -2 sets and 3 didn't work! I emailed them and they said to mail them all back and they will give me a refund! I emailed them back android them I threw the box away- never returned a message to me! I also ordered 3 sets of sheets and on the 26 they sent me a email stating that my order had been prepared! I told them I haven't received them they emailed me back said they were having problems with FedEx tracking! I called FedEx and they said they haven't received the order from Bens outlet ! I was furious I sent them another email and they returned an email to me stating they are having problems with there where house and I should keep contacting them to find out about my order! I'm like that's not my responsibility! I will never order from them ever again! I'm furious! And they have no customer service what so ever! I placed this order June 16 - it is now July 6 and my order still hasn't been shipped! Never again! They spoiled my holiday cause my guests on the 4 of July were suppose to use these sheets! And they haven't tried to make any amends or tried to make me a satisfied customer! I'm so unhappy ! That's not the kind of customer service I ever want to deal with ever!"

I recently bought 3 items - Tablet for $59, iPad cover for $30 and a Flash drive. "I purchased 2 Sylvania tablets. They were shipped quickly. Upon arrival, my wife and I inspected them and decided they they weren't quite what we were needing. I sent Bens Outlet a message requesting to return them. Again, they responded quickly and sent me a return authorization. So I shipped both tablets back via UPS. After about a week I received a refund for 1 tablet. I messages them back and was promptly told they only received 1. I responded with ' they both were in the same box; so if you you received one you would have received the other. I was told a supervisor would contact me, and it's been over 2 weeks now. I tried messaging again, but now I can't get a response from any one.
After writing this review, I was quickly emailed by Miss Garcia. She had everything straightened out in no time. A full refund was given, and she apologized several times for the confusion. My one and only complaint has been resolved!"

But then I had a customer support team member, Judith, who really made good on their word. They issued me a refund and paid for my return shipping and even offered some store credit for the problems I had. Judith certainly turned a really bad situation into a much better one."
