"I purchased a VAG-COM cable to connect to the OBDII communication port on a VW for clearing codes and resetting the check engine light. It arrived after 5 weeks and it had a burned CD-R with Ross Tech software. The software would not find the embedded software key in the cable so I contacted Ross tech, they sent me a letter saying that i a purchased pirated cable with their firmware in it that breaches international copyright. Luckily I only wasted ~$30 on this and I ended up spending $300 on the correct working version. Will never use Best Offer Buy again. "

"I am still waiting for a refund for an out of stock item I ordered on the 28th January. I paid by card and yet they refunded the money into a dormant paypal account against my wishes. I asked them to sort it out and they told me to pay them back the money so that they could pay it back onto my card as they should have done in the first place. They then paid it into my paypal account again! Unbelievable. I complained again and all they said was that the refund had been paid. I keep getting these generic responses. There is clearly no internal communication. I have asked them to call me as they have given me no number to call them. It's quite literally like dealing with a bunch of robots. The worst customer service I think I have ever come across. They even called me a 'Mr'. Outrageous. "

"Initially I was a bit dubious of using this website. However I eventually decided to give it a try. The result was that the goods arrived in a reasonable timescale considering where they were coming from. Upon arrival all appeared to be OK. The item I purchased was a Magicshine bike light battery with LCD display to indicate the charge level. This worked OK until I actually fully charged the battery then the display stopped working. The battery worked fine and after being charged a 2nd time the display started to work again. So I can only assume it was a "glitch" but time will tell!
Would I use this website again? Yes, probably, to buy another Magicshine bike light battery as the display issue is relatively minor as long as the battery works."
