"If you have a choice, don't order from Bike Bandit! "In Stock" and "Usually ships within 24 hours" actually translates into "not in stock or no longer available for purchase, but we'll take your money anyways"!

Their active inventory reporting is bogus! Plus, if your order is messed up because of something on their end, YOU, the customer, have to put in ALL the time and effort to straighten it out! In my case, this has resulted in a HUGE delay in getting the items I need for a trip and a LOT of wasted time!

To this very day, the order items they cancelled on me are still listed on their site as "available" for shipment within 24 hours!

Now, I'm fighting to get back the credit for the entire order that had to be cancelled, because THEIR system did not refund it all! I even verified on Friday, when everything on my account was supposed to be "ready to go" for submitting a replacement order, that support was available to assist me over the weekend, should I have ANY other problems. Well, I DID have another problem with their system not recognizing all the credit due me and the weekend "support" crew is now telling me that I have to wait until this next week before they can even begin to look into resolving it! How's that for customer service?!?

I will get this resolved and I will get my items, but I am seriously questioning whether I will place any future business with Bike Bandit. I've ordered from more than 10 powersports parts/accessories websites in the last 2-3 years and this is the most ridiculous and painful ordering experience I've ever had!!! Not only do you not have to request price-matching at many other sites to get a better price than Bike Bandit offers, but most offer free shipping, as well, which Bike Bandit does not!

I'm stuck seeing this order through because I really need the items and I have store credit to use. I wouldn't have put up with this run-around at all if I were a cash or card paying customer! Go somewhere else if you value your time and wish to get the items you order!

"Please do not order from this company. Bad customer service and they hook you by saying that the order will be shipped out in 3-5 days. I called today and it will be 2-3 weeks before the parts arrive at their warehouse to be then shipped to me 3-5 days. They left the fact out that they do not stock anything and everything is ordered from another company. When I found out about the additional wait time, I tried to cancel. They were going to charge me 20% restocking fee. I don't know what to do except let everyone I know to choose another company to order from. "

"I placed my order and then read some of these stories and got a little spooked. So I called them and mentioned these reviews and they assured me that my tire order was with the manufacture and would ship soon. Called them back the very next day and they let me know that it had shipped from the manufacture and gave me a tracking number before it could even get posted to their web site. Don't know what happened with these other folks and I feel for them as I've had the same thing else where but bikebandit did me right all the way and were extremely friendly to me all the way.

"I had some problems with my order from these guys and at first posted a scathing review. I had ordered a jacket with express shipping for a trip I was going on. Instead of express they ended up shipping it ground and customer service couldn't do anything about it except refund the difference. This would have made it useless to me since it would arrive long after I was gone.

I was contacted later that day by George the sales manager and after hearing the problem was able to get a second one airmailed out and it arrived in 2 days. He single handedly saved my trip and was beyond helpful so I'm changing my review. They really came through and made up for their mistake.

"Ordered a clearance closeout new Honda Womens CBR leather jacket at a price too good to be true. Shipping was very fast, and product was exact same as new full retail, for 1/4 the price. All tags and wrappings factory, and indeed brand new. Everything with order went well."

"I ordered a couple of sets of tires from bike bandit and found that the items that they had in stock, shipped out very quick (I got them the next day with no express shipping charges). One of the tires was advertised as “Closeout Pricing” and when I ordered the tire over the phone, they said they had it in stock. A couple of hours later I got an email saying it was discontinued and no longer available. I called them up and talked with someone that told me their computer shows the tire is in stock in their warehouse and they would look into it. I didn’t get a call back that day so the next day I called them and got the same story. Computer shows it available. The first order was canceled by them because it was kicked back as unavailable so they recommended reordering the tire and then sending my order number to customer service so they can make sure it gets processed correctly. I did just that and a couple of hours later got another email saying the tire was not available. I called them back and canceled my order and got it somewhere else. It was just becoming too much of a headache. "

"Very dissapointed. I ordered a u-joint and I recieved a u-joint and 2 bearing caps. they want me to buy 2 additional caps for the u-joint that costs approx. $13 each. Who buys a new u-joint and only recieves 2 bearing caps? My opinion it is a complete rip off. Now my children's christmas might not be completed in time. Thanks to Bike Bandit. I will buy elsewhere and pay more before I use Bike Bandit agian."

"Bike Bandit has great customer service people! Excellent prices! In fact when I shopped for the Arai John Hopkins Race replica, they had it for 508 dollars! It was cheaper than anywhere else I shopped! Very reasonable shipping charges and when the manufacturer of Arai denied my warranty, the CEO of Bikebandit.com called and personally guaranteed I would be taken care of and my helmet was replaced on the spot. I owe a lot of thanks to this great online store and they are really good people working here! I will always buy my products from this site! Tired of buying all my stuff from stealerships! Bikebandit best of all has people working there that care about their customers and has gone through great extremes to satisfy me personally and great at following up!"

"On Halloween I had placed an order at BikeBandit.com. Prior to placing the order called customer service, nice lady answered, and told me that if an item is back ordered it won't impede the shipment. This was my main concern before placing the order as was not in a rush for the back ordered item. Life is good so far.

Placed my order for 2 rear tires and 1 front tire for my scooter. The price for the rear tires was 60.58 and front was 52.05, which is a good price and one of the few places which carry my size. On Halloween they had 1 cent shipping and there was no exclusions applicable to me, with the exception of minimum amount being $200. Picked up a couple small filler items to get me over that magical number. Items I kinda wanted anyways, but not "needed".

To their credit they shipped everything that was instock very fast and I received everything within 8 business days, which is pretty good I think.

However, my main complaint is that for the 3 tires I had ordered, there is an additional shipping fee of 4.95 per tire. I do not recall seeing this 4.95 per tire at anytime during the checkout process. It was on the order confirmation they e-mailed me after I paid for everything and it was listed as a shipping charge. Immediately contacted them to see about resolving it. They also never requested authorization for the extra charges.

In their shipping policies and on the tire order pages nothing could be found that listed the additional fee.

Thank you for writing in! The handling charges are $14.95 because you have tires, which are $4.95 for each and. These are standard handling costs for all tires. Please let us know if you have anymore questions. Thanks and have a great day!!!

Thank you for writing in! We apologize that there is not enough explanation to the handling fees of tires. These are the standard costs of shipping tires. The $0.01 shipping cost was a one day deal and this does not affect the handling fees of the tires. If you have anymore questions just call or click. Thanks and have a great day!!!!

Again, their website specifically did not exclude anything and there was no indication of the extra charge until I received the order confirmation. They even admitted to not publicizing it in their last response to me.

If ordering anything other than tires their prices and shipping costs are good. I most likely will not do business with them again, even if the tire charge was "standard", since there should be some indication of it before submitting the order..

"I read some negative reviews about bikebandit on this site, but went ahead and ordered anyway. (Every company has some dissatisfied customers) Anyway on Monday Oct/13 @ 9AM I placed my order for two Dunlop tires and inner tubes. By noon the status of the tires changed to shipped, but no tracking info. Monday night the tracking info showed up. The inner tubes were still 'on order'. On Tuesday just after noon, UPS delivered the tires. About 27 hours after I ordered them. The inner tube status changed to "shipped" by USPS. On Wednesday USPS delivered the tubes. Order complete less than 50 hours after placing it. Now the warehouse that the tires shipped from was in central Cal. (I live in So. Cal.) and UPS does a good job of delivery inside the state usually in one day. The tubes shipped from San Diego, on Tuesday. I had to pay tax, since we are all in Ca. plus 7.95 shipping for the entire order, and a &10 handling charge. I knew of all these charges before I placed the order. I would have to say I am very pleased with my experience with Bikebandit."

"10 out of 10. This store has every single part I could ever need and the customer service is EXTREMELY responsive. I was bummed that they take so long to ship the items, but they order directly from the manufacturer, so the wait is unavoidable. Other than that they have a great website and great items."

"The worst company I have dealt with in my life. The company has no integrity, they sold me the teknic freeway jacket for 110 more than motorcycle-superstore.com. Not only that the product came with a missing collar and looked pretty beat up. It was not in new condition even though they listed it as that so I requested a refund for which they are taking way too long to take care of. Customer service on top of that is a nightmare. I spoke to a manager and many associates who promised me that they will get back to me but never did. I strongly advise you not to buy from this store. I ordered the same exact jacket but in new condition with a collar for 150 wiht free shipping where as bikebandit had it for 270. Thank you motorcycle-superstore.com! And no I do not work for them."
