i ordered late on the 3rd/early on the 4th of feb. got a estimated arrival date of the 8th. other products i ordered that night through amazon got here. bikesomewhere's product said "waiting to ship". then they chaged the estimated arrival date to "11th-16th" then i sent them an email asking to call me or cancel my order. but no reply. then finally i got a response after a few days saying they "will ship that day/friday or monday" then a few days later i got another email saying they dont have the product. they offered a different style. i said i would take it only if it ships that day or the next. of course it took 3 days to respond. then no tracking number so i write AGAIN and their reply was simply "the changes have been made"
WOW guys. great job on explaining everything.
finally on the 23rd i got a email saying "We must apologize, but we recently emailed you an incorrect tracking number. We have created a new shipment for your order." they never sent a tracking number in the 1st place!
today its the 24th and finally out of their hands. ups now has it and its estimated to be here on the 3rd of march. just about 4 weeks after i placed the order."

I never got any confirmation email so I decided to check with them a few days before Christmas to see if they had the item and if it had been shipped. "DO NOT SHOP WITH BIKESOMEWHERE.COM !! Ordered multiple items. Order took 2 weeks to arrive. Even though website said all items were in stock. one item was not in the box ! Sent an email enquiring what happened, didn't hear back until next day that that item had been back ordered and would ship that day ! Any decent on-line retail let's you know as soon as you place an order that something is backordered. Called the company, service representative was surly and all but told me he couldn't care less. Ordered same items from Realcyclist, on a sunday. received an email monday morning telling me everything would ship that day. That's more like it. Stay away from Bikesomewhere.com slow service, lies about what is in stock, cusomer service reps don't care. Oh i forgot, one item arrived dirty. Plenty of other choices out there. Biketiresdirect.com is fantastic, Realcyslist, Performancbike.com are all better. I even got better service from Nashbar. Go figure"
"Placed an order for multiple items totaling around $100 on Sunday 7-25-10. Did not receive an email saying the order had shipped Monday or tuesday and became a little concerned especially after reading negative reviews on ResellerRatings. Finally on Wednesday after checking my email and no notice yet I decided to try to call Bikesomewhere to see what the hold up was. When I turned on the computer that afternoon to look up the phone number I had the email I was looking for with UPS tracking information. I received my order three business days later, complete and in perfect condition. I would buy from them again, no problem. Except for the three days it took to receive shipping notification, everything was perfect."
"I was a satisfied Bikesomewhere.com customer until this order. A couple of previous orders shipped promptly and arrived quickly, but not this order. My card was charged immediately and the order did not ship until 10 days later, arriving on the 13th day after ordering. No one ever answers the phone and they are slow to respond to e-mail. If I ever order from them again, it will only be because I can't find the item elsewhere."
"I have the same horror story as others.
I ordered a saddle and pair of socks on 6/5 for a ride on 6/27. I received an immediate confirmation that my order would ship in 2-3 days. My credit card was charged through PayPal on 6/6. By the end of the week I had received no notification of shipping. By this time I had read the reviews of their poor quality service. Sent a request for information through their website and waited – no response. In the meantime my order had disappeared from my account on Bikesomewhere.com.
I emailed them directly on 6/15 requesting my merchandise or a refund. Received a form email on June 18 saying they were sorry, and my order would go out that day or Monday.
Another week goes by. I leave a voice mail stating my dissatisfaction. When there was no response in two days, I started a PayPal dispute. I received another form email response to the email account that was linked to my PayPal account, not the email account I had used to contact them, same as before. They totally ignored the PayPal dispute process.
After another week (by now three weeks since my order), I escalated the complaint with PayPal. PayPal settled the dispute and credited my credit card. Only then did I receive an email from Bikesomehere that my order was cancelled.
Horrible customer service, lack of product. I have no idea how they stay in business, but I will definitely stay away and suggest you do too."

I don't usually write reviews especially when I receive good service but seeing all the negative reviews I thought I would share my positive experience this time."

"I placed an order last week and then tried to contact the company to change an item. I've called them on 4 successive days, plus emailed them. No one answers their phone, though I have left several messages. Neither my voicemails nor emails got any response from the company.
I don't believe they have shipped anything to me yet, since their site says they will send an email with tracking info when items ships. However, I can see that my credit card was charged the day I placed the order! I don't believe vendors are supposed to bill credit cards before they ship. So far, the signs are bad-- I would never have ordered products from this business had I known how unresponsive they are.
UPDATE: I received my bike tubes, CO2 cartridges, gloves and chamois cream today-- a week after I placed the order. Every thing is in good shape--new and undamaged. I consider myself lucky compared to others who got used products from this company. Still, their completely unresponsive customer service is kind of shocking in today's business world-- I'll never do business with these guys again."
"I was anxious on ordering my first pair of mountain biking shoes and pedals. After locating the items I wanted and assuming the price was the best price available on line (including shipping costs) I placed an order with Bikesomewhere for Shimano shoes (SH-MT42NV) and Dual Pedals (PD-A530). After submitting my order I went back to see reviews from this web site - and primarily came across negative comments. I was worried enough that I had them on the phone (after the first call) and tried to confirm the items were being sent. My personal experience was TOP NOTCH. I received everything exactly when they said (the order was placed on 5/18 and received 5/26) The merchandise was packaged exactly the same way it would have been in a premium bike shop. I still haven't figured out if the negative reviews are Bogus or if I was lucky. Because of my experience I will definitely purchase from BikeSomeWhere again!!!!!!!!"
"Caveat Emptor!! That would certainly apply to this company. Nearly all the reviews on this company are NEGATIVE...and apparently for good reason.
I ordered two tires from this company when another company could not deliver the specific tires I needed. The internet add for BikeSomeWhere.com specifically gave detailed information about these tires that I checked and double checked this information on their website...specifically about the FPS (flat protection system) and rated tire pressure (100 psi). Tires oredered. prompt shipping and a check of the tires showed that they sent the correct tire by name, but the info on the tires did not match the info on the website. These tires are rated 45-65 psi with no FPS.
EXTREMELY IRRITATING BikeSomeWhere.com staff!!!!! Now I have to screw with you to get this crap straightened out since you could see fit to posting the correct info about your products.
I'll update this site regularly as to your customer service...or seemingly lack of it.

"Terrible Service. I ordered from this company because it is local and I figured the merchandise would be available quicker(needed the items for an upcoming MB race). Could not be further from the truth! It took them four business days to tell me that the merchandise was on back order. No one ever informed of the situation until the time for me to pickup the items even though I called two times earlier. At the moment their website still says that the cycling shoes I ordered are still in stock and ready to ship. The sales person blamed it all on President's day; go figure how one day accounts for a four day delay. I will no longer use this unreliable vendor for items I need with any kind of urgency. "
"I called before placing my order to be sure that I could receive it by the time I needed it. If not, I was going to spend a few extra dollars to buy the gloves I needed locally. I was assured that my gloves would ship by the following Tuesday at the latest. Well now it is Friday, and the gloves have still not ship. Since I need the gloves tomorrow, I will have to buy them locally now. I've tried calling back 5 times over the last two day to cancel the order so that I don't end up paying to 2 pairs of gloves, but no one answers the phone. I emailed about my problem, and all I got back was a form letter saying that my order would ship soon."
