"The process was very smooth and I was able to try different options easily before I made my final decision. I had to cancel a trip from another booking site due to a change in the flight itinerary and had to wait for my card to be credited. I appreciated that I could make payments since it may take up to 7 days for my initial trip to be refunded to my card."

"The hotel was changed, as requested by Bookit, as the one selected was being renovated. After selecting the alternative location, and calling them Friday to make sure everything would be okay, as my flight was Saturday. I was advised everything was fine the hotel is expecting me.
I arrive at the hotel, no reservation, I had to call twice, on hold for nearly a hour only to be told their system is down and they could not send a confirmation of payment to the hotel. The hotel put a hold on my credit card for the cost of the entire trip I already paid for. As they did not have a room available in the package I bought, I would have to upgrade at a cost of $100 a day, or look for another hotel at 9 o clock that night! I paid $400.
The issue was not resolved until Monday.
The hotel did take the hold off my credit card. Bookit was not truthful about what was happening with their system. It amazes me why they could not have called the hotel. The stress this caused, ruined our celebration.
I will never use Bookit again."
