"Clicked buy for my 3 nights with flight. Checked my email few minutes later to discover my flight was booked but not hotel. Email said call customer service. I dialed the number at 11:17 am mycall was answered at 12:43 pm CST. The young man answered the phone laughing and chatting with people in background. He asked me to repeat what I needed 3 times only because he was laughing at someone in background. I was on phone with him and then put on hold 10 minutes, on phone with him then put on hold 5-10 minutes with the worst macharana music ever. Put on hold and then told my flight could be cancelled but I would only receive airline credit or I could just pay for hotel at non package pricing.
He then told me he had to transfer me to another department to try to book flight with hotel. It was then 212pm CST.
2nd department said oh wrong place they know nothing about flights.
3rd department said oh you need to talking to booking customer service.
4th place was Hotwire customer service.
I hate you book it.com

"I was trying to book a package to Las Vegas and the hotel portion was failing to book. I tried to re-book 4 separate times. I called customer service and they couldn’t quite figure out what happened. The next morning I got a call from customer service (yes!! They called me!!!) and they made it right!! They helped me and I got an ever better deal then the original package! I’m vary happy with my experience and service and I’m on my way to Las Vegas!! "

"I've booked through other companies and am always hesitant to try a new company but through much investigation - felt comfortable to try bookit. And so far - so good. The site was easy to navigate and the deals offered were better than those on other sites. The only thing I question is - travel vouchers purchased only came in the lead travelers name and I called customer service to verify if this was ok and they are so busy you have to make an appt online to speak to someone. I did ask the question with the online chat service and they quickly answered my question - I did get an answer and saved me from lengthy time on hold or making an appt to talk to someone but I'd still prefer to speak directly to a representative. "
"Accidentally clicked wrong flight, just wanted to adjust that. Called within minutes of booking...closed. Then I’m told I have to schedule a customer service call. Which they scheduled for over a week away-which is outside of the “free” cancelation/modification period. They had no sympathy or customer service what so ever for a minor mistake that could quickly be fixed. No response when I again told them why I needed to speak to someone ASAP. You can’t actually get a real person on the phone. Hope we don’t need assistance DURING our international vacation because that will be hell. "
