"I ordered the BOGO checks just recently and never received my 2 free ones. Called customer service the same day I got the checks in the mail. Although the representative had a pleasant tone, she couldn't solve the problem. I had ordered online and apparently the wrong number of checks was ordered. Rep said I had to pay for another set of checks to make 4 boxes. Was put on hold for 30min. just to have her supervisor tell me the same thing. These checks are expensive with all their added on fees. This is definitely a bait and switch company. Shame. I have ordered jackets and wall plates from them in the past. Never again. They just lost a customer."
"I had ordered checks from then when i tried to find my recent order.It wasnt in their system,I then ordered another set,Oddly the next day the other order had shipped.I sent them an email to cancel the order didnt respond.Then i called them unable to cancel my 2nd order,If you would of called we could of cancelled it after i sat on hold for over half and hour,Terrible company.Now i am stuck with 2 sets of checks with the same numbers"

My new charge was more than twice the original. I immediately responded and asked them to cancel my order, but was told that my checks had already shipped and thus couldn’t be canceled. I’m still arguing for a refund. "
"Online pricing was not honored. I checked out and was surprised to find the confirmation receipt come through for $16 more than the total online. I called customer service 4 times because I was hung up on and transferred multiple times. I'm told customer service to go online right now to see the advertised subtotal price and the subtotal amount on invoice is different than what they charged me, but no-one could figure out how to correct. So, instead of just refunding $16 to me, they cancelled my entire order. I'm hesitant to believe they will handle the refund correctly, but I will know in a few days if they scammed me on that, too. What a waste."

Called, told they will send another one and it will take 10-15 business days for me to receive it. No help or faster shipping even though I have already waited 3 weeks for my cover. "I waited a month for my checks to come. Nothing. When I called the customer service rep gleefully told me that they ship with usps, no tracking available and that it’s quite possible that someone has my checks and could use them fraudulently. She then told me she could replace the checks but that the only shipping available would take 10-15 business days. "As others have noted, the Bradford Check exchange practice deception, and impose hidden charges - as well as 'bait and switch' products - if you are not extremely careful. I was asked if I wanted extra protection insurance, I declined it, not noticing that it asked twice, so I missed the charge until all costs were totaled. By then I could not back out so I cancelled that order and did whole process over again, catching both questions for security insurance. Meanwhile, THEIR system switched my side-tear check order to top-tear, which I cannot use and did not see. When the confirmation email was sent, I saw the top-tear description on the receipt and contacted them within ONE HOUR, including the receipt in my email. The next day they replied and said they needed my confirmation number, which was already on receipt I sent. I gave them my contact info that same morning, and then again, the next day, they said it was too late. What a scam! I'm going to better bisiness bureau next. I dont trust these people to even have my banking info! Be warned. "
" I want to order checks online since I received a coupon. I am a veteran so I decided to go under patriotic themes. I see a set of checks with former President Obama on them and then another set the says “proud to be a Democrat“. Wasn’t I surprised to see there was no Republican president available or any other set this as “proud to be a Republican“. "I called to order my checks because I didn't want an adress on them so "Fast Freddy" said I would be charged more over the phone..after a long conversation my 4 boxes for $9.95 turned into $80 then $60 for shipping, taxes and other up charges...When I got the email I was charged $18.95 for some security company charge. I also saw Bradford charges in and out of my bank acct 3x. I called to say I never ordered this security and was not comfortable with them going in and out of my bank acct so many times and to cancel my order. Of course she said the checks are already printed and I could not cancel! I just got my package from them and I will be returning ASAP! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I have been in contact with my bank and even shut of the card they charged 4 days before they charged my acct. BEWARE! My bank is on the case now to the fraudulent charges!"
