"Horrible vendor. Had a coupon code. Ordered one box checks (100) plus traceable secure shipping, “handling” and tax for $17. Received order confirmation for $17. Later that evening got a text from my credit card company showing Bradford charged me another $5.56 with no explanation! Called customer service and they said it was their mistake but they couldn’t refund the additional $5.56. Huh?! Okay then cancel my order—they couldn’t cancel because order had already gone for printing. But then they said I could cancel but they’d have to charge me. Went in circles a while and just called my credit card company and they removed the charges. I received the checks—only 75 checks in the box by the way—and a charge of $15.05 showed up on my credit card at some point. Never doing business with this company again and I suggest you don’t either. "

"First of all, their pricing system is designed to specifically mislead and deceive their customers. An error occurred on a recent order and a replacement for the same quantity of checks (400) was immediately re-ordered. Upon arrival, said replacement consisted of 25% of checks (100) at yet another outrageous price with another variety of shipping and handling fees. Called to express my concern about the status of the missing 300 checks and was eventually transferred to someone laughably in a "supervisor" position. "That's our company policy', said the supervisor", while I said, "had the person taking the re-order indicated said policy, I never would have placed the order." Of course, he already knew that without having to advise him of that fact. I did business with them once in the past and when the first time arrived for a re-order, I discovered it was going to be four times the original cost, I told them it was a ridiculous fee and cancelled that re-order. It seems that through the passage of time they discovered if they simply lie about their pricing practices they have become far more successful in cheating their customers. So, now when my credit card statement arrives next month -- here is my POLICY -- I will immediately place the latest amount into dispute as I was intentionally deceived about the quantity of checks to be included in that replacement shipment -- 400 and not 100. My recommendation to all potential customers: Stay clear of the Bradford Exchange for your check printing needs or blame no one but yourself when victimized by their deceit. "

"Ordered checks in Jan. Just got a letter from my bank that the checks are wrong and they've been hand keying them. Called and Bradford exchange will do nothing. I just want new checks not a refund. $120 down the drain. I even took a picture of the check when setting them up. I am so beyond infuriated. Wish I would have read reviews. "Images are very muted and lack any color. Took a very long time to receive. When I called Customer Service they said they don't have a return policy so there's nothing they can do about it if I'm dissatisfied. Also, their online offer said "buy one pack, get one pack free". I only received one pack. They said over the phone that I would have to order two packs to get one for free, but that's not what it says online. There's really no sense even paying a person to tell you to stick it, when they can save even more money by having an automated recording that could do it just as easily. Really a terrible company. Bradford Exchange used to have a reputation for excellence, but now it stands for terrible quality product and terrible customer service. Simply awful!"
"I received an email the day I should have received my checks to inform me there was a problem with my payment. I placed the order online and all details were accurate before I submitted. When I called and finally got to a representative, I was placed on inexcusable holds twice. When "Peter" came back to the line, he apologized for the long hold only to inform me that the department I needed is closed and I would need to place my call again tomorrow. I had my email open which indicated the departments I needed would be open for another 2 hours my local time. No idea what the agent was doing all this time but it sure was not helping me. I directed Peter to just cancel my order as the price was crazy but at the time, I was willing to pay it for what I wanted. Now, I wouldn't take the checks if they were free.
Do yourself a favor and order your checks elsewhere, I am. "

Then they tried to charge me for a bunch of money extra for the same thing to correct. They also charge me a phone fee to call them to tell them they had messed up. Along with an $8.95 fee again for some type of security shipment which makes no sense. Horrible customer service and they can never get anything right. Also missing my return envelope labels that never showed up. Absolute nightmare. "

"Ordered checks, approximately 10 days later I received a letter in the mail stating I needed to contact them. I contacted and resolved the problem they had. They said I would have my order by weeks end. No checks and called again and was told they didn't input the correct info. At that they will ship out again. Get an email wanting me to contact them again. I call, got put on hold for 5 minutes. He gets back on the phone only to tell me the checks were returned and destroyed and I will receive a full refund in 3-5 days. WTF all I wanted was my checks and over a month I have nothing. Do not deal with this company, they **** !!!! "
"Ordered checks and they arrived with last digit of account number missing. Called customer service and explained the problem. Was told that because I had ordered online there was nothing they could do. When I argued, they said they would talk to their supervisor and then we got "disconnected" Called back and went over everything again. Was again told that because I had ordered online, and had verified that everything was correct, there was nothing they could do. They couldn't produce this verification page and no copy of it was ever went to me, so I have only their word. However they way you fill the information in, it would be very difficult to input it wrong, unless you were copying it from somewhere else where it was also wrong (which I wasn't) So the CS person said they would talk to their supervisor and call back within 15 minutes. 5 hours later I started leaving bad reviews on every site I can find. And the amount of poor ratings I have found tell me that I never should have ordered from them in the first place. I've always ordered my checks online, but never before from Bradford Exchange, and never had a problem until now.
