"Ordered a box of checks and a checkbook cover on July 10. Received checks within a week... 15 business days later still no checkbook cover. Called, told they will send another one and it will take 10-15 business days for me to receive it. No help or faster shipping even though I have already waited 3 weeks for my cover. You can bet they got their money back on July 16. I will NEVER order from here again!! "
"I waited a month for my checks to come. Nothing. When I called the customer service rep gleefully told me that they ship with usps, no tracking available and that it’s quite possible that someone has my checks and could use them fraudulently. She then told me she could replace the checks but that the only shipping available would take 10-15 business days. I requested a refund and will cheerfully follow up with my bank if it doesn’t arrive. "
"As others have noted, the Bradford Check exchange practice deception, and impose hidden charges - as well as 'bait and switch' products - if you are not extremely careful. I was asked if I wanted extra protection insurance, I declined it, not noticing that it asked twice, so I missed the charge until all costs were totaled. By then I could not back out so I cancelled that order and did whole process over again, catching both questions for security insurance. Meanwhile, THEIR system switched my side-tear check order to top-tear, which I cannot use and did not see. When the confirmation email was sent, I saw the top-tear description on the receipt and contacted them within ONE HOUR, including the receipt in my email. The next day they replied and said they needed my confirmation number, which was already on receipt I sent. I gave them my contact info that same morning, and then again, the next day, they said it was too late. What a scam! I'm going to better bisiness bureau next. I dont trust these people to even have my banking info! Be warned. "
" I want to order checks online since I received a coupon. I am a veteran so I decided to go under patriotic themes. I see a set of checks with former President Obama on them and then another set the says “proud to be a Democrat“. Wasn’t I surprised to see there was no Republican president available or any other set this as “proud to be a Republican“. "I called to order my checks because I didn't want an adress on them so "Fast Freddy" said I would be charged more over the phone..after a long conversation my 4 boxes for $9.95 turned into $80 then $60 for shipping, taxes and other up charges...When I got the email I was charged $18.95 for some security company charge. I also saw Bradford charges in and out of my bank acct 3x. I called to say I never ordered this security and was not comfortable with them going in and out of my bank acct so many times and to cancel my order. Of course she said the checks are already printed and I could not cancel! I just got my package from them and I will be returning ASAP! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I have been in contact with my bank and even shut of the card they charged 4 days before they charged my acct. BEWARE! My bank is on the case now to the fraudulent charges!"

"I ordered checks with an offer in my magazine. I paid $13.65 then 2 weeks later I got a bill for $4.11 that was supposed to be for print style. I waited 3 weeks and got another bill for $13.65 when I called customer service she stated I was not a new customer. I thought I was, but she said I had ordered from Bradford Exchange Checks "9 years ago". So, I'd have to pay the repeat customer price. I could not remember who I had ordered checks from 9 years ago. Evidently the computer keeps track of each and every purchase I had ever made. So, I asked for a refund and she said it could take up to 3 weeks to process? If their computer is so advanced it can keep track of a purchase 9 years ago, why can't it refund a check sooner than 3 weeks? This is a SCAM"
"I ordered checks and was told that they would be delivered by a certain day. Of course that day comes and goes. I wait four more days, nothing. I call up customer service and after 50 minutes on hold, a voice on the phone refutes what the first person said. And to boot, tells me that the email they sent me doesn't say what it says. **** poor customer service."
"I don’t think I ever ordered checks from them before, but after placing order I got a email say that my order was 1 1/2 times higher then when I placed the order. I called them the very earliest i could the next morning and they said that they couldn’t cancel the order that it was already at the printers... but 1 1/2 weeks later I finally got the email that the order finally shipped, I think Bradford is a rip-off. "I placed a check order with Bradford Exchange checks. Monique took the order and fouled it up so it was never processed and they never informed me. After 2 weeks I called them to find out the status and after about 10-15 minutes runaround clown number 1, Shavon, blind transferred me because she had no clue what she was doing, to clown number 2, Linda who was rude, as dry as toast and also didn't have a clue. After explaining everything all over again to her and listening to her mind numbing, I don't care attitude, I requested a supervisor and got clown number 3, Jordan who was about as lively as a stick. This brain-dead imbecile tried to make it seem as if it were my fault that his entire staff is inept. Their so called customer service and its supervisors are a joke. I finally cancelled my order and will never order from this despicable and deplorable company ever again. Read the reviews before you order then run to the next company. "First time my order was ok and price reasonable, approx. $25. A year later they reorder automatically and charge me an exhorbitant $80. I'm outraged because I never approved of a automatic reorder. I have a letter into customer service for a cancel. I feel very violated and I'm not happy with Bradford Exchange. Violating trust with me is very bad. "
"The check # should have been over 7,000 and they started the check at 715. The sequence number was correct in two different locations on my on-line order but they claimed because I placed the order on-line they couldn't replace the checks unless I paid for them again.

Now I am out of checks but they have plenty of excuses. Said they only reserved the money in my checking account but never got payment until today when they released the order.
