"I am very much happy with my Canon Power Shot SD 550. Thank you for sending me the camera very fast. My wife also likes it very much."
"I purchased a Sanyo Xacti from these crooks. They made me call to confirm my order so they could lie saying the battery would only last 15 min. and harrass me into buying a better one from them. Turns out to be the same battery which lasts me over an hour. They told the camera came with a 128mb SD card but none was included. The staff I dealt with were rude, insistant, and insulting. They overcharged me $5 and when I tried to complain and return the unneeded battery they didn't return my emails. Pay the extra $10 and buy from anybody else."
"extremely disappointed, poor customer service, very rigid return policy, will never use them again!"
"I did receive my order when I was supposed to but I was charged more for shipping than I was quoted. I did not receice the manufacturures waranty card. On two different calls I was told both of these were explained on the website. The second time I was hung up on rudely. I checked the website.Once (I figured out where the information was located) It says they make every attempt to insure the products include the manufacturures waranties. When I called on the phone to confirm my order I should have been told the shipping price didn't include handling. Their prices are good but everything else about this store is terrible. you have to also include an extended warranty just to cover what would normally be covered by the manufacturer. "
"I ordered a new digital camera from these guys, within an hour I received an e-mail to verify my order and believe it or not y order was shipped out by the end of that day! When I received it was exactly as described and packaged well, in excellent condition"
"Avoid this "dealer" like the plague ! I fell victim to their "sending factory reconditioned mechandise as new" scam.
When I confronted their staff with the fact the mechandise was reconditioned, I was called a "liar", and they became verbally abusive. After finally getting return authorization number, I was told I would be charged a $60 "restocking fee" which I unfortunately have to pay, as my credit card company will only handle disputed product quality issues, not 'restocking or postage fees'.
Learn from my experience - do not deal with these people. This company is at best a low class rip off artist.
"
"BEWARE!! This company is a scam. Their prices seem great, but it's not worth the hassle of dealing with the scam.
We ordered a digital camera and then received multiple e-mails that we needed to call to "verify" our order before it could be processed. Finally, we called and were pressured by the salesman to purchase accessories we already owned. We repeatedly told him that we wanted the camera only. The camera finally arrived 2 weeks later - with the unordered accessories. I called customer serivice to get the matter taken care of and encountered only rudeness. I was told that he showed we called and therefore we ordered the accessories. He refused to refund us. I told him that it doesn't seem legal to send items and charge a credit card for items not ordered and he very condescendingly said, "Oh, we would never do that." Well, that is in fact exactly what they did. The total bill was ~$60 over what it was supposed to be. Our credit card company dispute division is dealing with the matter. "
": "This was a total scam. I ordered a camera and they had the best price. But, they asked me to call them back to "confirm" the order. After several phone calls…, the guy tried to sell me on various extras. I kept saying that I didn't want anything else, just my order. But, he wouldn't stop pushing his extras and was getting rude. So, I cancelled the order…." This was pretty much my experience too except I didn't cancel my order. Instead, when the order came, one of those over-priced "extras" was on the invoice and in the box even though I didn’t want it and hadn't ordered it."
"I guess one could say that I'm some what dissatisfied with the store. I purchased the Konica/Minolta Dimage Z5 base on the companies statement that the camera was "New". I was sent an email to call a 800 telephone number in order to expedite my purchase. I was politly asked if I would like to upgrade the digital camera's memory card and purchase a battery charger. Upon declining I was given a delivery time of 5-7 days. The camera arrived within 3 days after the payment was confirmed. The box was unsealed and the instruction manual was a xerox copy. If the camera was referbished? then I must say that they did one heck of a job. There were no scratches or discoloration. The warranty consisted of and invoice with a 90 day return policy to the store(web site stated a full year warranty),unlike the warranty I recieved when I purchased the Minolta 70 Date (on ebay) which allowed me to send the camera back to Konica/Minolta direct. So far the camera has lived up to it's expectations. I just hope that it does not die after 90 days. "
"One of the products I wanted was on backorder, but the customer service was very good about getting it in quickly , it only took 2 weeks for them to get it in and I received it a week after that, they kept me informed along the way of what was going on."
"Be careful upon reading reviews for this company. They are all FAKE. They are created to throw you off from their old bad reviews and hoping you don't catch them. Prestige Camera themselves are rating the transaction with fake "satisfied" customers. They are scam artists like all Brooklyn Camera shops. Read the reviews carefully, no mention of what anyone that is satisfied has bought. Quick one sentence statements."
"Most horrendous store I've had the displeasure to deal with. You can bet your first born that I won’t be returning to this vendor anytime during this or my next life. Ordered an EasyShare printer from them. Price was pretty good. And I had a $30 rebate ta-boot. I ordered it, waited over 3 days for them to e-mail me back, stating I needed to call up to clarify the order. After reading some reviews about their tactics to sell you more than you intend, or ordered, I didn't call. As luck would have it. The next day they called me. Asked if I needed batteries, cases, etc. etc. etc. And asked if I needed a memory card for the camera I was planning on using the printer for. As anyone with half a brain would realize, this store sells memory cards for some outrageous amounts. i.e. a 1GB SD memory card will set ya back over $500 at this store, when you can get it ANYWHERE else for $50-75. Amazing. Anyway. I assured the person on the phone I needed nothing more than what I ordered online. 2 days later I got my printer. Not too shabby. Till I opened the box. It wasn't in a retail box. It was in a brown box. It had a printed out UPC sticker on the box, covering another sticker. When I peeled back that UPC sticker, the bottom sticker said "Reconditioned item" in nice clear words. I immediately called then up & waited on hold for 30 minutes. When I finally got a hold of a human, I was put on hold for another 5 minutes. When I finally got to someone that would talk to me for longer than 3 seconds, and told him my problem, he asked for my order number, and 10 seconds after I gave him it, he disconnected me. By this time I was fuming & couldn't talk in a coherent fashion without vulgarities spewing from my mouth in every other word, so I had my wife call. She has the patience of a saint. She got through after another 20-25 mins & talked to someone who said to send it back, they would credit us once they received it & pay us back our shipping being how it was "their mistake in shipping out a reconditioned item, being how they ran out of stock of the retail item". Anyway, 2+ weeks after it was sent back, they still didn't credit us, so I had to call my bank & dispute the charge, which resulted in getting my $ back FINALLY. What a joke this company is. Pure crooks are even too good for them. I live less than an hour away from this store & I might drive over there one day to see if they actually have a brick & mortar shop, or are running things out of someone’s garage. Stay tuned. Till then... DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. "Anything"."

"I had a pleasant experience with this company. I bought a lumix fz20 camera and opted to get the battery upgrade which also included a free camera case. The battery IS a longer life battery, and none of my contents in the camera package were tampered with. I even recieved a UV filter that I did not ask for or pay extra for (I did the math on the invoice), but that may have been their mistake. I will note that the Invoice is shady, the price of everything we got was all summed up in the camera price, not letting you see what you paid for individual items. The salesman was nice and the camera was shipped out the same day."
"Liars, fraudulent practices, mean people. That pretty well summarizes B-Way Photo. I'd pegged the camera I wanted for Christmas and told my wife where she could purchase it at the best price. She logged-on and ordered it...so far, so good. She gets a reply message to contact our CR card company to confirm the "Ship To" to a different address. This done, she calls an 800 number to confirm. This is where the problems started. Rep claims camera comes with "...only a 20-minute battery..." Wrong-O Buck-O. Longest battery life on the market. 3 times he asked to "upgrade" the battery. My wife declined 3 times. Guess what? $49.99 "Free Battery Upgrade" in the shipment. And, just like one of the reviewers below, the 16MB memory card that was supposed to be part of "what's included" was missing. This is fraud folks. My phone call to secure a Return Authorization was a customer service nightmare. My request was met with more lies and mean and aggressive attitudes for which the rep tried to blame me. "Customer centric" is not in their lexicon. In fact, it is a foreign language. Tried contacting management to no avail. Have thought of contacting NY AG's office. "
