I need a reliable resource. Buy.com used to be such a resource. This was not an isolated problem with them. They have dissappointed me several times in the past six months. I'm now convinced that I need to stop looking to them for product; there's plenty of competition. Another good company gone bad."

"Avoid buying cellular phones from Buy.com. I ordered a T-Mobile plan and two phones. I did receive one of them immediately, but the other phone was sent to a mystery address in Texas. I live in Missouri. I have email documentation showing the error was made when they shipped it so the error clearly isn't mine, nor is it UPS. How do you do that? I've contacted them twice now and I'm still waiting on a "UPS investigation." Although they claim they keep documentation of customer feedback, the customer care person didn't acknowlege any record of my previous call about this missing phone. BTW, there appears to be little T-Mobile can do for me as it involves a third party. I think everyone should be forewarned to be leary of doing business with Buy.com."

"They are not issuing a refund. I have been led around for over 45 days for a refund that should have happened atleast a month back. I have called them many times and have been fed one excuse after another... but no money! This is the second time I have had to fight to get my money from them. Last time was a rebate check that was "lost" and never issued until I called half a dozen times. And this was for less than $10!!! This time my refund amount is over a $100 and I don't know if I'll ever see that money again. I have complained twice to BBB. People need to complain to BBB about the deceptive business practices employed by this company. BBB will investigate and do something about it when the number of complaints against this unethical company reaches a critical number. If they won't I'm sure some attorney will and maybe we'll all get to screw this company like they screwed us!"
"I placed order for my lcd on 9/9 and lcd supposedly was shipped out on 9/10. buy.com uses fedex ground service, which is the worst I have ever dealt with.
fedex did not work with me to arrange pick up and after weeks of going back and forth, lcd was shipped back to buy.com on 10/6. I have requested refund to my card. buy.com on several emails (they do not publish their 800 number)promised the refund, but so far, 10/18-there is no refund and my card was charged at 9/9 and I do not have product yet. I am thinking about disputing this transaction with my credit card company since I can wait for buy.com refund forever.

I ordered some speaker stands. They are wood tech stands. I searched all over for the best price. Buy.com ended up having the best deal. It took a little longer to ship than I would of thought for an item in stock. Yhat was ok though because I was in know hurry and the 20 dollar saving was nice.
I would very much like to see them stay around because I have bought quite of few things from them over the years. But with ratings like these it will be hard for them I would think.
Anyway I will continue to order from them unless it is an item I am in a hurry to recieve.

Now, clearly they didn't ship it on the 5th and after 10 days, still no sign of the card at my doorstep. Slowest bunch of people on the planet. I now have doubts as to if I will receive the package or not. Also I don't know if I'll be eligible for the rebate or not since it doesn't show up at their website. Also I purchased the card for $80 odd and now the price is $76.99. They haven't picked up the phone and I don't know if they will refund me the difference or not.

"I pre ordered the Star Wars DVD set, and never received my DVD set. After waiting the required two weeks after supposed delivery, I submitted a claim and was told to wait another five days. Ten days later, I received no responce, so I sent them an e-mail via their web page with all the required information, and it was bounced back to me.
