"I ordered a Television from this website in November. First, they emailed me saying they oversold the item and I would not be receiving it. In the mean time they did not issue my refund. About a week later I was told I would be receiving the item after all but no information on when it would be shipped. I contacted them once and they responded with saying they didn't have any information. I emailed again a few days later and never received a follow up email. It ships a few days after that. Now the shipping company they used has scheduled 4 drop off times and hasn't come at any of the scheduled times. Neither Buy.com or the shipping company has taken care of the problem."

Buy.com responded to my comments that the money has been refunded, which it has, but gave an inaccurate and self serving reply regarding the circumstances that led up to the cancellation.
Buy.com advised me by email that my order # 57880223 from dailysteals.com shipped on 12/6/10 and gave me UPS Tracking #: 1ZA5W067PT46774826. 5 days later on 12/11/2010 at 6:00 pm EST UPS had not received the package, only billing information.
Buy.com states in their response that UPS lost the shipment. Fact is that the tracking number only was submitted to UPS and the product was NEVER DELIVERED TO UPS. FACT IS THAT BUY.COM & THE DAILYSTEALS.COM THE SUB FOR BUY.COM ONLY SUPPLIED FALSE SHIPPING INFORMATION. I RECEIVED NUMEROUS EMAILS OVER 5 DAYS FROM BUY.COM & DAILYSTEALS.COM THAT PRODUCT WAS SHIPPED NO MERCHANDISE WAS DELIVERED TO UPS JUST BILLING INFO
Extremely poor service from dailysteals.com through buy.com. Issued UPS tracking number and send me notification of shipment on 12/6/2010. Over 24 hours later UPS acknowledged notification of shipment but no merchandise.
As of midnight 12/9/2010 EST no merchandise at UPS, just notification of tracking number received. They concentrate their efforts on distributing incorrect shipping information instead of processing and filling the order.
I have followed up with buy.com & dailysteals.com and get standard reply that merchandise shipped wait 24 to 48 hours for it to appear when tracking. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN.

"I ordered a refurbished PC through the Buy.com web site. The order was accepted and my debit card was charged. A few days later I received a confirmation email with a Fedex tracking number. The Fedex web site showed no record of the tracking number so I waited a few days. After 4 days, Fedex indicated no record of the shipment. I inquired through Buy.com and they issued a refund. There was no explanation or offer of a comparable product.
Clearly they were oversold on this product. I cannot understand how a company that boasts about its customer service can provide a tracking number for a shipment that never existed.
To date, Buy.com has never told me the product was not available, or offered any type of explanation - when I checked their web site after experiencing problems with my order, it says the item is unavailable.
Furthermore, the refund was offered only after I inquired about the order and they had had my money for about a week.
The business practices and customer service at Buy.com are unacceptable and in the future I'll work with other resellers. "
