"On Nov 18, 2011 I ordered a double sink for $208.00. Later that night the seller contacted me stating that the wrong amount was listed and that if I wanted the item I needed to pay an additional $1500.00! Yes, I said $1500.00 dollars. I stated that the price was clearly written on your website for $208.00, I checked out and paid for this item, so please ship it. I checked thier website on Saturday Nov 19, 2011, and again the price was still listed for $208.00. The price on this sink was not changed until Monday, shortly after they cancelled my order without any notice. This to me is clearly a bait & switch tactics.

Today, November 22, 2011 I called regarding the refund of my payment made on this order, the CS Rep stated that I had not made a payment, I stated to him that I have verified with my bank that this payment has been withdrawn from my checking account to which he said, yes we have authorization to withdraw the payment from your account. This amount has already been withdrawn, it is not pending.

I purchase most of my items online and have never had any issues. I will not ever make another purchase from buy.com. If it was possible, I would give them a negative -5 Stars.

"So I had ordered a ssd from the site two days ago. They sent me an email the day after ordering and a day of processing to tell me that I didn't have my shipping address registered with my bank. After resending them my billing address and changing it on my bank to appease, my package is STILL going to go through a day of processing after verbally torturing a customer service representative for the faults of the company she represents. I was even told that even if I wanted to cancel it due to the fact that during the conversation my package suddenly became ready to ship while I was talking to the representative that there was a possibility I wouldn't be able to. I couldn't even change how it was shipped to expedite the product since the product had changed from in warehouse to ready to be shipped regardless of it sitting there for another day and possibly more. I have never had this issue with ANY other online seller. Who asks to get the shipping address attached to the bank? It's the billing that should only matter. Note, I ordered on the morning of the 14th and it wont be shipped until the 17th. Well according to the representative that I had talked with, that is what is expected. I don't expect anything definite any more from this site given how I've been treated without any reprisal whatsoever on their part. Just more apologizes for things that shouldn't have been an issue to begin with."

"I placed my order on a Thursday morning, and it arrived in great condition two days later! (This was using the free shipping option that was with my item) I was amazed at how fast the service is. The fryer I bought was also 10 dollars cheaper than both walmart's and amazon.com's prices. I am very pleased with this company!"

"Generally a good site, but sometimes shipping takes a long time. Your order can be in the "shipping process" for a week (or more), and you can not cancel the order."

"TERRIBLE! Bought a refurbished item and when that was bad I found out the hard way from the manufacturer that buy.com was not an authorized dealer and the warranty was no good. Buy.com was unresponsive and never made good on the unit."

"Buy.com used to be my favorite online store, although less frequent shopper these days. Think their "marketplace" approach with different vendors helps with selection and price but likely causes large variation in service/support.

Most recent experience still positive. Wrote this review since was somewhat surprised as to how low the company was rated which does not match with my experience.

"I ordered a Jawbone from this company that was supposed to ship in 1 - 2 business days. It took me several weeks to find out the item had not and would not ship and to get my money back.

There is no phone number to call and they take forever emailing you back (I waited almost a week).

BUY WHATEVER IT IS THAT YOU WANT SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

"Purchased a copy of Adobe Acrobat X Standard and thought I was taking all the precautions to not get an upgrade. The Buy.com site did not indicate it was an UpGrade. Received the software and it was an UpGrade. They would not take it back. Guess if I will buy anything else from these guys. If you guess YES then you are correct.

"Debited my credit card for item and warrenty even though the item wasn't in inventory. Called to tell me that I would be credited back the full amount, but only credited the item cost. Worse yet customer service is in the Philipines and they pass you around with no real desire or intent to resolve your problem"

"Called to cancel order within 5 min of placing. Was kept on the phone for 10 min. When they finally found the order the said - sorry too late! (Error was made because pictured battery was not the battery being sold.) It was a lesson learned the hard way. Lost my money!"

"Quite simply, this is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. Their shopping cart system changed my street address to an address that Paypal couldn't recognize. Additionally, their "superpoints" customer loyalty program doesn't accept Paypal. Of course, they bury this in their TOS but do not display it anywhere else. Back to Newegg I go - serves me right for trying buy.com again after a 5 year hiatus."

"These people are simply clueless when it comes to customer service or understanding english. They can somewhat speak english but understanding it is a whole other story. They can not and could not understand my simple instructions written or on the phone and sent me from place to place just to get rid of me. Totally a very bad experience and I would suggest you use aomeone else and maybe pay a little more for what ever it is you are buying. And each time you are transfered (if not hung up on) you have to play 20 questions with them all over again!!! All this for $16.55. Like most on-line rip offs they take your money today but then tell you it will take 2 biz days to get it back. That is simply bad biz..."
