"This is a revised review..........after some initial problems in getting the product ordered and delivered, Mark from Buy Squad got involved and solved any and all problems with in 24 hours. Ended up with an upgraded TV at a better price. It was very refreshing to see a company reacting to a customer complaint in such a decisive and satisfying manner!!! Went from "never again" to "will certainly check them out for future purchases"."

"I just rented a dream condo in the heart of San Fran and I started my hunt for a sleek slim TV. I was looking for Samsung because they have the best design and something with capability to hang on the wall with no bezel. Just all TV


During my search online, I came across Amazon and decided on the 55ES6100 which was rated high and the price. I then searched this model on the web and came up with this company buysquad that had the lowest price. I figured for a $250 price difference, I would be willing to take a chance on this company I never heard of before. There reviews were fair on line but mostly positive.


I placed the order online in the 2nd of the month of May. The standard shipping time was 7-14 days for free shipping and I needed it in 5 days so I paid extra for the expedited shipping. I then got a call from the trucking company on the last and 5th day to do the delivery. They actually delivered on the 6th day, which I though was a day late, but then I looked again at my order and it said 5 business days so it was actually delivered within the scheduled window.


I inspected and the TV and initially I was not happy because I got a model with a little different ending then the one I originally ordered but when I looked it up online, It was in reality more expensive and had more hertz.


I would rate this company well for first of all saving me $250 on the purchase. Then, I was happy that the delivery was smooth. Last but not least, I am enjoying the TV and the picture is really clear. My friends that came over my place, all comment about how clear it is. So far I can only give high recommendation to this store for a job well done.

"After numerous discussions and 4 notifications of a delivery date that never happened... I got the TV I ordered in good shape. It may be that the folks at BS and not so full of BS actually, but the companies they are using to deliver and/or provide TVs are giving them a bad name. The people at BS responded each time and worked hard to fix the problems I had and in the end I got the TV exactly as I had ordered in good shape... so I am happy now... if a little bit left wondering why so much "Drama" for a thing that should go more smoothley.


**** Original Complaint *****
Placed an order for a $4200.00 Sony on 5/13/2013. Mailed a check to their "corporate office" and it never got there(???) Submitted a credit card and payment charged on 5/17/2013.

Here is my order (submitted in writing):
Hi Mark,
I am going to send you a check for the purchase of one brand new Sony XBR65HX950 65-inch 1080p 3D LED LCD HDTV advertised on your website as seen in this attachment.

Please respond with the total cost including insurance and I will mail up a check today for the purchase.

Today is 5/28/2013 and there has been no tracking number given to me. This over 2 weeks from the initial order and almost 2 weeks from the credit card payment. I called and was told "your order has shipped" I have been calling for days trying to get information about my order. So "Mark" is telling me I cannot cancel my order and shipping charges will be charged and a 15% restocking charge will be applied. These people are a total RIP OFF!

"Purchased a 60 inch sharp TV. took over a month to receive a used tv. "money is very tight for me right now so I was looking for a way to stretch my dollar. I wanted something BIG so I looked at Sharp 70" as I heard, its the biggest bang for the buck.

I searched online and the lowest price I found was this site called buysquad.com. I was hesitant to go with the lowest company at first but then I looked at my bills and I went for it.

I ordered the TV and it was waiting for the TV for one week and i got a call from the trucker that deliver would be between 1-4 in the afternoon. I got it closer to 4 and i opened and checked it and it was in perfect condition. I waited 2 weeks to write the review and i am completly sadisfied.

"Mark, the manager at Buysquad, was AWESOME at resolving my issue. Mark is proactive, honest, and no-nonsense.

Here are the things you need to know about Buysquad to help you have a good experience with them:

(1) A "Class A" TV from Buysquad is NOT brand new. "Class A" is term that Buysquad made up so that they can avoid using the word "REFURBISHED" (which is what every other TV seller calls it). A "Class A" TV from Buysquad has been used, it does not come with the same full manufacturer's warranty that a new TV comes with, and it may not come in all-original packaging. "CLASS A" EQUALS "REFURBISHED."

(2) You will not know that you've bought a "Class A" TV from Buysquad until AFTER you receive your post-purchase invoice. In my case, the item description on Buysquad's website did not say it was a "Class A" TV. I thought I was buying a brand new TV. So after you purchase your TV, read the invoice very carefully and look for the words "Class A" on it. Some of Buysquad's TVs are brand new (which you thought you bought), while others are refurbished "Class A" TVs (which you had no idea you were buying). So if you see "Class A" on your invoice and if you don't want a refurbished TV, then you should cancel your order immediately.

(3) Buysquad's quoted prices (for the TV plus "free shipping") do not include the mandatory "shipping insurance" that you'll be charged later, after you purchase. Buysquad will contact you with that amount. So be prepared to pay more than the advertised/quoted price for the TV plus "free shipping."

(4) Even with the mandatory shipping insurance, Buysquad's prices (for brand new, non-refurbished, non-"Class A" TVs) are still REALLY good.

(5) DON'T buy ANY extras (HDMI cables, extended warranties, etc.) from Buysquad. Get those from your local big-box retailer (BestBuy, etc.) or elsewhere. You'll save a lot of money that way.

(6) As soon as your TV arrives, you can call the TV manufacturer's customer service phone number and give them the serial number of your TV to confirm that it was never refurbished (because if it was refurbished, then it will not carry the full manufacturer's warranty). Sharp will definitely do this for you. I'm not sure about other manufacturers.

The reason I REALLY like Mark is because he corrected misinformation that another Buysquad employee had given me. Mark resolved my issue professionally, promptly, and to my satisfaction. I would do business with Mark again in a quick second!

So if you keep all the stuff mentioned above in mind, and if you deal with Mark, then you should have a great experience like I had!
