My issue has been resolved. Buy Squad has refunded my money after a long battle with the shipping company. Although the TV was insured, the shipping company wouldn’t take ownership of the damage. Upon initial inspection of the TV and box, there appeared to be NO damage. As I mentioned before, the TV was purchased in Feb, so electronics aren’t supposed to be turned on until they’re room temperature to avoid damage. Obviously the freight company won’t stick around for three to four hours, so we signed off that the TV was in good repair. At 5:00 p.m. the TV was warm enough to finally turn on and that’s where the problem started. Buy Squad was closed, so we immediately contacted Sharp regarding the issue. A Sharp Technician was out the following week and he determined that the internal damage done to the TV was done in transit. He thought it may have been slammed against the front of the vehicle due a quick stop. The damage was in the upper to mid area of the TV on one side. We did learn that if you can’t turn on the TV, use a FLASHLIGHT on the front of the TV and you’ll be able to see internal fracture lines. Wish we knew that previously, but this could help other consumers. I appreciate Mark’s time trying to make things right, I just wish things happened at a quicker pace. My big caution would be, don’t sign off on the delivery of a TV until you can turn it on. If you live in a cold climate, wait until it’s warmer to order electronics so you can properly test them before the delivery company leaves.
I purchased a Sharp 80", 240hz TV from Buy Squad. My husband was home to receive the item and it came in a single, unmarked box. It was not doubled boxed as they claim. Since its winter, we needed to let it warm up before turning it on. We were excited; hit the on button and the only thing we see is a big white blob and some thin horizontal stripes. The next thing we see is a blank screen and a blinking V sign under the Sharp logo. WE called BS and no answer after 4 pm. WE then called Sharp directly and found out the TV was a REFURB. Sharp did not know if there was any warranty! NO returns on large TV’s, you must use the warranty process. It takes Sharp a couple days to get everything registered. I am confident Sharp will stand behind their product and I purchased and extended warranty directly from them. Sharp has determined the TV to be damaged in transit. You would never see this looking at the TV. I'll update when this gets fixed. "

Then I called up to see if the delivery guy would actually bring it in the house, not drop by curb and that was the standard service with them. "hello all people looking for a tv. I just finished searching for the best deal on a 75" Samsung but its crazy because the price just keeps dropping every month. I probably looked at every online retailer out there and called them all.
After checking them all out, I decided to move forward with buysquad. they consistently had the lowest cost. The customer service reps were professional and answered all my questions. the tv shipped out with in 48 hours as promised. I did get a tracking number 3 days later. the trucking company that pulled up in front of my house allowed me to inspect the tv. Everything seemed to be in order and in good condition.

"I spent $4,000 at buysquad bought a 70inch; Sharp LED, 52inch; Sharp LED and a 40inch Sharp LED. All of them came broken and defective. I had spoken to Mark and was supposed to send me replacments and pick up the broken ones but instead files with sharp to send out a tech to fix the so called brand new tvs that only came with 30 day warranty instead of the 1 year.
I had to call my credit company and disputed and received my money back. This company is fraud and should be put out of business. BUYERS BEWARE
They also make you buy insurance so it's not really free shipping as they quote."
"I just found a job after 6 months of looking so I figured I would would something nice for myself. I do a lot of online research on products before I buy them and I had my eye on a Sharp 60" TV selling for $899. I I looked around for a reputable online store with the lowest price and I came across buysquad.com. I made the online purchase. I followed up to see if I could get a lower price on a wall bracket and at the same time I got some extra hdmi cables. I got the tv delivered about 6 days later by a trucking company which called and made a 4 hour window in advance. I check the tv when it came in and it was in good brand new condition. I am using it now for a month and I really is great to watch games and my wife loves it because its a new piece of furniture. i have heard some horror stories and I am happy mine was easy transaction. I would buy again from them if they had the lowest price again."

"I am not a tech savvy girl so I call my brother whenever I need to make an electronics purchase. I called my brother to buy a 55" TV for my bedroom. He convinced me that that was not big enough (men) and I needed a 70" TV. I searched the web and found the LC70LE847, fully loaded 70" TV with 3D. I found the lowest price from buysquad. I went ahead and purchased it online Sunday and I got the TV one week later from the trucking company. I will give this company high marks. The process was really too easy and I am enjoying the TV.

"Found a great deal on a 60 inch Samsung TV and ordered it. I received an email to call them to confirm the order. When I called they said the TV is on back order despite their advertisement indicating it usually ships in 1 to 2 business days. I called again yesterday to check the status, 12 days after placing the order, and they advised its still on back order and could not advise if it will be available in a week, a month, or a year. Offered me a refurbished model or a discount on another model instead of what I ordered which STILL is listed as "usually ships in 1 to 2 business days". My first time using them so not sure if they employ Bait and Switch tactics or they are just sloppy with their advertising of a product that is not currently available. Will update when concluded. UPDATE: April 11th: the item is now listed as out of stock. UPDATE2: Spoke with one of their Reps today and they didnt know if they will get the advertised TV again or when. I suggested that I may take a different TV if they give me a great deal. They knocked $100 off their advertised price and waived the insurance charge. This one is in stock. Will see what arrives and what condition and when. UPDATE FINAL: TV arrived yesterday with all components and packed very well with corner braces on outsides of cardboard box. Shipper called day before and gave 3 hour window for delivery. They helped us open the box and inspect the TV and accessories and all was perfect. The TV was just as expected and was best deal for this model. Shipping agent estimated $1900 as he had same model. I didnt burst his bubble to tell him this cost $100 less (actually $200 due to BuySquad giving me an adtl $100 discount due to the above). Overall Im satisfied and would recommend BuySquad as they did a good job resolving the issue. However I see that the original model I ordered is now back to the normal listing and apparently is now available at some $600 less than what I paid for this newer model. Not sure if that is correct and if so why they couldn't find out two weeks ago when they would have stock available. Id recommend you call them to make sure the item is in stock so you don't get over-promised and not delivered."
"Buyer Beware!
I purchased a new Sharp TV from Buy Squad and received a refurbished TV which was defective.
During the purchase process I asked the sales person several times if the unit was refurbished. Sales person informed me that the unit was new with zero hours and carried a 1-year warranty.
Three weeks after receiving the TV the screen went blank. I telephoned Sharp Technical Support; whom informed me of two points:
1. TV was originally sold by Best Buy in October, returned by customer to Best Buy as the product was defective (same problem, blank screen)
2. Warranty for TV was 30 days; not the 1-year Buy Squad quoted me
I telephoned Buy Squad and informed them that they had sold me a defective refurbished TV. I was informed by the customer service person Mark, that the unit would be replaced with a new unit. After multiple telephone calls, all Mark did was schedule repair service, not replacement of the TV; which I had informed him multiple times was unacceptable.
Finally the TV was returned to Buy Squad and refund was issued, a process which took the better part of a month to accomplish and cost me additional money to resolve."
