"Ordered a 70 inch sharp tv and blu ray player on Feb 1. Four days later I am imformed of the $90 insurance charge and the change from new brand new tv(like their website so proudly displays) to a "class A recertified " Why I didnt cancel the order at this point still boggles my mind. This is the classic bait/switch tactic that apparently still works. Recieved my tv two weeks later in a plain brown box. Inside was a tv that appeared to be in good condition. What was missing was an operators manual , registration or warranty imformation and mounting screws for the stand. Now the real nightmare begins,dealing with customer service. After my tv sat on the floor for two weeks I recieved mounting screws. Put it on the stand and hooked up the blu ray player and of course it doesnt work.They sent me another one,this one doesnt work either. March 28th it appears I am stuck with what appears to be a year old used tv and a blu ray player that doesnt work.They are no longer communicating with me! Worst company ever! STAY AWAY!"

Finally got an upgraded TV due to lack of inventory on the one I ordered. I am a happy with the outcome, though communications between seller and buyer should have been much better.
Shipping was from LA and I live east coast so it took 10 days to get here. Because of size of TV, it could not be shipped UPS/FedEx but had to come by private carrier(s)."
"The story so far. I will update the review when the transaction has been completed, but would like others to have information available to them as soon as possible when deciding to use this company for a purchase.
After an exhaustive Google shopping search, I was able to locate the Sharp LC-le735U on the Buysquad.com site. The price was reasonable, so I placed the order on Friday night March 15th at 9:30pm. I received an automated E-Mail instructing me to contact them to verify the order. I called the company on Monday morning around 9:30 and was able to verify they had received the order and had the item in stock. I was informed that it was a class "A" rated item as it had been discontinued by the manufacturer. This, I was told, meant it was opened by the manufacturer, inspected, and re-sealed. They stated it was still new and not a refurbished unit. After reading several reviews, I knew about the required shipping insurance, which I agreed to and added a 2 year warranty to the order. Before hanging up, I was told that once the additional payment was made (which happened via Paypal during the phone call), that the order would be sent out that afternoon and I would receive a tracking number when it was available.
We are six days into the transaction and I have not yet been contacted by anyone, company or freight service. I had chosen the shipping option of 7-14 days, so I know we are still a bit early for delivery, however, I still have not gotten a tracking number. (The website also indicates that there is no tracking number available with the free standard shipping option) so i'm not too upset.
I will wait patiently, as I prefer to not hassle the company and simply let them do their work. I will call them again at the end of next week if I still have not received any word.
Once this transaction is completed, I will update this review to give a more complete picture of the whole experience. "
"I went to Bestbuy to buy a 65" LED TV, 240hz and 3d, which they showed they have in stock for $4999 plus $458 tax. They did not have stock and told me the unit was in back ordered. I went online and found the same tv in stock on this buysquad.com website for $4499. I was amazed that they can offer the same tv for like $1000 less but it ws enough to get me very interested. I ordered the tv and I got it 6 days later in my house. I inspected it and it was in perfect shape. I am very very very happy."

"I run a busy Hotel in a large city. We needed to upgrade our rooms to have nice thin LED screens. We have very tight expense schedules and I had to make sure to stretch our dollars as much as possible and get the largest size screens to compete in the market we are in. I searched online and came across buysquad.com. They had a size larger then I was looking for at the same budget targets. I though this is too good to be true but I followed up and called them. I was comfortable enough during to phone call to take a chance on this company.
I got the order with no problems about a week later. I inspected the product at delivery and it was perfect. I have a better product at a lower cost than expected so I congratulate buysquad for a job well done. The only issue I encountered was the hold time was around 5 minutes and I hate waiting on hold. I have already recommended this website to 2 of my friends.

"I am from a entertainment industy and I have a lot of contact for purchasing equipment. I was looking on a TV for March Madness and opted for a larger size. I saw good reviews on the Sharp LC70LE847U model which has the 240hz and 3d. I got prices from friends in the industry and then I went online just for fun and searched this model. It was $250 better then muy life long contacts. I was skeptical at first but saw good reviews. I made the purchase online. Got a call confirming the order. I dont like being upsold but they just called to get a phone number for delivery. TV came about a week later and it was delivered by a good trucking company. Very happy for a first time internet purchase. This is too easy to spend money like this. And most important, the tv is very sharp picture and I had no issues with this company."

"Terrible experience with Buysquad. I ordered a TV from them as they were the cheapest of all online retailers for the particular model I was looking for. I have learned my lesson: save the $100-$200 and go with someone reputable.
I ordered the TV in late December and it took 7-10 days for it to arrive - no biggie for me. Unfortunately the TV was also damaged - it worked for about 40 seconds before a distorted bar appeared across the top made about 10-20% of the screen unviewable.
I immediatley contacted them with details of the broken TV. This is early January. They assure me that they will send a technician out to fix/diagnose the unit and if it's unfixable then they will send me a new tv. Great, I can deal with a small delay. Fast forward two weeks - no technician yet - the local Samsung dealer claims that the particular unit can not be even diagnosed without a $100+ payment up front because it's essentially a defunct unit. Despite Buysquad's efforts to "extend" a nonexistent warranty it was clear to me that the TV wasn't going to get repaired after 10+ emails confirming "Samsung has received a repair ticket" and then having said ticket cancelled after talking to the local shop. Why Buysquad couldn't work this out with the local dealer is beyond me. So now it's early February (over a month after I purchased the TV) and I still have a really expensive piece of glass sitting in my living room.
I contact Buysquad and tell them I'm tired of this route and would either like a refund or a new TV. They choose the refund option which works for me, I can now buy the model from a company I trust. It's now February 19 and I'm still waiting for the refund to hit, but at least my credit card company has withheld payment.
Also agree with other reviews - their website says "free shipping" but upon purchasing the TV they will call you and explain there's a $75+ charge for shipping "insurance". A shady outfit all around, stay away.
edit: Upgrading the review to 2 stars after discussing with them...they will make an effort to make you satisfied with the experience - even offering me discounts on other electronics in order to make up for my troubles. Perhaps my experience was actually just bad luck. This offer also was only proposed after I publicly aired my grievances here."

"Was looking for a 80 TV at a good deal and came across Buysquad, Ordered the Sharp TV on 1/18 and received it 10 days later with the ground shipping. Truck company was very courteous and even allowed me to check to make sure TV was fine. The sales people were very friendly and helpful getting me started with some of the things I needed. My last TV was 10 years old so I would say I was really out of the game. I love my TV and would 100% recommend
