"My order included CPAP cleaning wipes. When I opened them, it seemed they were not properly sealed, and there was some brown material (looks like mold) on the wipes in the container. I was told I could return them-at my expense. That would cost nearly as much as the wipes themselves, which is pointless. I received a defective product and now it’s basically just my problem. After spending over $1000 with you this year, that sort of “customer service” isn’t really acceptable. "

"I've been a customer of CPAP.COM for well over a decade after my original DME-supplied "Cast-Iron" Remstar finally died, a decade past its supposed lifespan. I think I'm on my fourth machine from CPAP.COM counting travel machines along with innumerable masks and supplies. Customer service has been consistently excellent, with their people displaying product knowledge ranging from good to encyclopedic, and capable of answering a barrage of product questions, both pre and post-sales, with very few instances of "Hold on while I check with the technicians".
Prices are less than the retail list price, but that retail price is a fiction, based on what the manufacturers can extract from insurance through the network of sleep doctors and DMEs. In reality they are charging a competitive market price commensurate with their efficient business model that ensures that any sane person will not want to go through a DME with the resultant compliance hoops and intrusive monitoring - anyone with significant apnea and a working CPAP machine is going to comply. If not, let them suffer:) In fact, with the advent of ubiquitous APAP machines and the online process of consultation and diagnosis enabled by them it's unclear to me why anyone would need to have a doctor administer an unpleasant facilities-based sleep study.
All things considered, despite the emergence of multiple competent competitors, I will continue to use CPAP.COM.
Complaints? Not many or major, but CPAP.COM may wish to consider the fact that when it comes to buying the little bits and bobs like cleaning supplies, filters, hoses, inline humidifiers and in some cases even masks Amazon is usually cheaper and will ship for free at a much lower order value than CPAP."
