"Signed up for email notifications and started getting coupon codes about every week (20-30%). Holidays seem to get around 30% off.
Great selection of shirts and sweaters.
Order came as described, and expected from the web site photos.
Packaging was decent (bags).
Shipping speed was so so (arrived around 2 weeks later).
Recommended online store. Wait for the good coupons.
Update: Customer Service was great for me. Somehow the wrong size got ordered, CafePress sent me the correct one at no additional charge, and I didn't have to send back the other one.

"Terrible customer service. Do not order from this company, you have many other choices, send your business someplace else.

I paid premium freight to get order for a retirement party. Shipping confirmation showed ordered arriveing 7 days after promised. Called Nesha in customer service and she blamed it on me for choosing to ship to a PO Box instead of a physical address. When I placed the order with Janelle in customer service, she didn't tell me a PO Box would be a problem, if she would have told me I would have given her a physical address instead.

"Be forewarned about the poor quality of cafepress t-shirts. They obviously use some cheap-ass heat transfer process, instead of silk screen. So what I got was the printed logo on the front, surrounded by a huge discolored rectangle on the entire front AND BACK of the shirt. The heat press has obviously discolored the shirt. There's no way a company would be selling products like this if they gave a damn about quality."

"I never write review but their customer service was so fantastic that I had to take time out of my busy day to acknowledge them. The shirt I ordered had a few threads pulled at the bottom along the seam (this happens with large scale production with any retailer). Typically this indicates the seam *might* unravel in a few washes; I didn't want to take the chance, so I emailed them. They refunded ALL of my money, including shipping, and told me to KEEP the shirt. It was a minor defect and I was happy to send it back but this kind of customer service would DEFINITELY lead me to purchase from cafepress again. Item arrived quickly, too."

"Have had absolutely terrible service from Cafe Press. Ordered 3 items at the beginning of December and the shipping information said it would arrive (in Australia) around December 22. I thought that would be great since there was a Christmas present in there, but was aware it might get held up in Christmas mail. In mid-January Australia Post received the manifest for the shipment; however as at now, in mid-Feb, the package still hasn't arrived, meaning the consignment hasn't arrived yet. I was able to get a refund of my shipping fee and they sent a replacement package - it was supposed to arrive today; however nothing has arrived and the tracking information for the parcel is not even saying "En Route." They have responded to my emails, but the bottom line is I now have a Christmas present which is beyond late and two parcels within two months have disappeared. Will NEVER be purchasing from them again!"

"Never, ever order anything from Cafepress, they never send the order, and ignore EVERY email and phone call I have made to them. This isn't the first time and I should have learnt, but I trusted them : |
So far I have emailed various email addresses, but they have ignored them all, where do I go next...the bank and Fair Trading for 'goods not received'.
They are incompetant and ignorant and extremely unprofesssional...you have been warned...DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

"I ordered a Namaste T-shirt and received it just 5 days later. Unfortunately, I wasn't happy with the color and the size didn't seem to jibe with the size chart. I filled out the return form online and had a response within an hour that a full refund had been credited to my account. In addition, they told me to go ahead and KEEP the shirt, so I wouldn't have to be troubled returning it. I can't imagine better customer service and am highly impressed!"

"I think maybe CafePress has become more reliable? I just ordered from them and was very satisfied. I used a Groupon and got 50% off a custom iphone case. They shipped it the day after and I received it one week after that. I love it! It's exactly what I thought it would look like and it seems very sturdy (although I've only had it 1 day). I'd definitely order from them again"

"Beware of CafePress. I ordered a T-Shirt from Amazon but received confirmation of order from CafePress and a charge to my Bank of $32.25 plus $1.00 for an unexplained charge. The order was cancelled by CafePress but they did not refund my $33.25. After chatting with Amazon on line as well as on the phone, they could not help me nor could they get me a refund. If you place an order from Amazon, and the product comes from someplace else, cancel the order before authorizing any funds to them. Amazon could not help. And I am out $33.25 for a T-Shirt that was supposed to be a birthday gift for my son. CafePress does NOT deserve even a one star rating but I had to pick one because there was not a lower choice. Also when I searched for CafePress online, got an error message saying they do not exist or someone else is pretending to be CafePress!"

"Buyer beware. This company sells shoddy merchandise. I ordered a Jane Austen pillow. The image was so lop-sided it was ridiculous. And there was a pin -size ink stain also visible. How they could send out this item and expect someone to be satisfied with it I don't know. The partial refund was prompt (you don't get your shipping costs back) so I guess they are used to issuing refunds for bad merchandise."

"I ordered $160 worth of T Shirts from CafePress. The showed up as being shipped 10 days later (even though there was no tracking number), however 8 WEEKS later they still hadn't arrived. I then emailed them and they said they had a 30 day policy which meant they could do nothing about it. After 3 or 4 furious emails to them they finally relented and gave me my money back. "

"I would not do business with them again. I clicked on a Facebook ad of theirs in Dec promising me a 20% discount. Placed an order and no discount showed up. I emailed them and they said they would cancel and reorder so that the discount could be applied. Long story short, they shipped the original order and when I wrote to ask why the problem hadn't been corrected, they said it was because the 20% offer had expired at the end of November. Seems strange that the Facebook ad was out there in Dec. the very day I placed the order. "

"Please think carefully before purchasing from this company, I chose my order and submitted my order while using a discount voucher. However when I checked my paypal account the discount was not applied. Sent an email, and despite their 24 hour response policy it had been 2 days and still not a peep. So had to call the USA from England, rep told me to cancel my existing and then placed the order again on the phone with her. Discount now applied I confirmed and was happy checked my email and to my surprise I was charged full price. After days of calling them and numerous unanswered emails I just cancelled my order. (mainly because I started reading these reviews and didn't want to pay all that money for poor quality) A word of WARNING they customer services are very polite however they keep you on the phone for ages and agree that they will help you but just continue with their own agenda!
IF you are experiencing problems contact trading standards U.K purchasers.
