"Horrible company. I placed an order with a discount, my total was $16.57. After I entered my credit card information I received a receipt for $56.00! I immediately contacted customer service and asked them to cancel my order. I assumed they did, then I got an e-mail about 24 hours later that said that the order had already been shipped, so they cannot cancel my order. I plan on sending the merchandise straight back, but with the way things have been going with them I doubt I will get my money back.

Update:
Just got a call from customer service and they were apologetic and gave me a full refund.

"I am thoroughly impressed with CafePress. I ordered a sweatshirt as soon as I heard about my friend having ovarian cancer. I had it personalized with her name. I received the shirt the very week I ordered it! It was missing the word 'FOR' so I sent a note asking about it. I received a note the very next day and a new shirt was sent. I have contacted Customer Service 2 times with different questions and each time have had almost immediate answers back! I love this website and the people who work for it! Thank yu!"

"Yesterday I placed an order, it was only one item but there was a discount code on for 30% off, which if nothing else should have pretty much got rid of the ridiculous postage charges. However when I clicked to put the order through it had gotten rid of the discount code I had entered. So naturally I decided that instead of paying £24 for one item, I would cancel this order and try to replace it again. I called them up, cancelled the order and thought nothing more of it, however this morning I went on my order to check the other thing I had purchased and when that should be getting to me and the order I tried to cancel is still there. I am completely unsure of whether I will be getting this order or if it has been cancelled and although their UK help line says it is open between 9Am and 9Pm GMT they are not. My first order I placed almost 3 weeks ago for my dads birthday which is in 3 days and according to CafePress it has been in this country for almost a week now and still hasn't managed to get to me. I do not like this company and they are not at all helpful."

"Cafepress sends tons of coupon codes. Unfortunately, I've found many of them don't work, or at least not on the items they claim to. Additionally, they make it very difficult to see whether a code has worked, and what line items it worked on.

Recently, I got a good coupon code and got it to work on all line items in my cart (I had to keep changing items until I got the full discount). Then when I was done, on the payment screen, it showed the total, and I clicked to finalize the order. THEN THE $!@#!!#$ total changed and they charged my card $30 more!

I was so angry that I emailed customer service. They responded that they could not fix an order in production, so they cancelled it, and that I could reorder.

I told them:
1) The good code had expired.
2) I would not spend time rekeying the order, when there was no guarantee the exact same thing wouldn't happen.
3) They did not state how they would fix the problem, which amounts to fraud if not fixed.

They said:
Oops, we didn't actually cancel the order, and shipped it instead. We have applied the discount to your order, and I got an automated fixed invoice (which shows that they CAN fix a production order).

I said, give my money back as promised and I'll refuse the package. They ignored me.

What a scam. I've never experienced anything like this from a reputable site.

"I recently purchased two vouchers for a 16x20 photo on metal. After reading all the bad reviews I was apprehensive about ordering through them but since I could not cancel it I went ahead and placed the order expecting to be disappointed. I am so glad that I purchased the vouchers! The two pictures came out beautiful! With their free color correcting they exceeded my expectations and came out better than some smaller prints on metal I had ordered from an online source with high reviews. I realize Cafe Press has numerous different sellers like amazon so I cannot speak for their other products, but would definately recommend the photo on metal, which is from the supplier Canvas on Demand. The shipping was also prompt."

"CafePress failed to process my order for mother's day. It did not try to contact me to solve the issue regarding the order nor notify me to consider placing another order for my mother. I called wondering why my order has not came on the expected delivery. They were not helpful. I had to kept calling and emailing them. It has been more than a month and I still have not received my order nor my refunds. This is the 1st and will be the last I would buy from them. Very disappointed."

"I had ordered four items from cafepress and spent over one hundred dollars. When my items came nothing was as I ordered. They sent me two tshirts (one black, one white) with personalized writing on it. I have absolutely no use for them. Also I received two pairs of underwear which did not come as I had ordered them. This was the first time I used this website and it will absolutely be the last. I have never had such poor service. "
