"I ordered a large photo mug and took time to make sure my pictures were centrally located within the space on the template. I was then very disappointed when the mug arrived and the pictures were round towards one side. I complained and they said they would send another one, which they did. The second one though is still printed further towards one side than the other, and they have made the pictures smaller.
It seems that their printing process is very hit and miss, with no proper templates or processes being applied to ensure satisfactory products. It makes the final product appear poor quality, and I will not be ordering from cafepress again.

"I ordered two items for Christmas presents. I was informed that it would be here on the 28th....imagine my diappointment. But after I called customer service and they were GREAT both items arrived on the 22nd. I LOVE my products and will be returning to the site for future shopping. "

"Wish I would have checked this site prior to placing my order with CafePress. I ordered a t-shirt on 12-14 and paid extra for 3-5 day shipping. On 12-21 I had not received it so tracked the order and it wasn't even shipped until the 19th. The estimated delivery date is 12-25!
I will never order from CafePress again.

"DO NOT ORDER ANTYHING AND EXPCECT IT BY CHRISTMAS!!! They are still advertising that they can deliver by the 24th, but I ordered a christmas stocking of all things and it will not be in till next week!"

"I had the BEST customer service. I am always nervous calling customer service over an issue with an item and I felt like the person on the other end was not only polite but very generous is making up for the slight mess-up in my order. I would DEFINITELY order at CafePress again. Also, I was very impressed by the effort in packaging... I am very satisfied!"

"Terrible delivery time. Products are always in production and never shipped. Poor customer service. Lied to 4 times, saying they would be shipped out today, but they never left production. Wished I never heard of this company. Don't order if you need the order. They advertise 24 hour shipping time. It is a lie. Shipping delivery time is a lie. Buyer Beware. "

"RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY FAST! HORRIBLE customer service. 3 weeks after placing order I haven't received my order. Tracking says it is in a post office in New Jersey, but tracking info stopped two weeks ago! Customer service (Ha!) just keeps saying "your order is on it's way". I'm now asking for refund. I will update this review to let you know how that goes."

"Most amazing customer service experience ever! I ordered the wrong size shirt for a Christmas present. I spoke with a very friendly representative at CafePress around 7pm to express my hope of getting a replacement in time for Christmas and received it before noon the very next day. I am astounded. Also, it's a very nice shirt. "

"After reading the reviews, I was a little concerned about placing an order. I had a Groupon for a photo on canvas deal. CafePress was great! They contacted me to tell me the photo was not high def enough to print. I was suprised and gave them a call. Turns out I had sent a preview file, not the actual photo file. They ended up doing a custom size at no extra charge to fit the photo better. I just got it and it looks really great. I will use them again."

"Check your discount & let them know as soon as it arrives. I ordered over $100 worth of merchandise for my daughter's birthday and the 60% discount that was advertised for t shirts & stickers was never applied. It took me almost a month to find the time to comment & their reply was too much time had passed-1 no discount was possible."

"Not very impressed. Used 20% off coupon and after order was complete noticed that the discount was only applied to one item. Emailed customer service and they offered to give me free shipping. This would have been much less than the discount should have been. I emailed them again and told them what I expected for a refund. They phoned me and said it would take about 30 days to receive my refund and wanted my credit card number. I had paid with Paypal and asked them to refund my money to my account. They said they couldn't do that. So I told them to just cancel the whole order. Now my money is tied up for 3 to 5 days before I get my refund. I guess I will be complaining to Paypal as well as the Better Business Bureau."

"I have had an amazingly terrible experience with cafe press. I placed an order nine days ago and it still hasn't been shipped! I needed the items for a family get together and all week long I was told the items would arrive by 11/25. I ordered just six items, multiple copies of two items with basic text and a logo.

Customer service is a joke. Monday and Tuesday they said the items were in production and would arrive by Friday. I sent an email on Wed that was never answered. I paid for expedited shipping and as late as yesterday they said they would overnight it to me, but that their contract with UPS didn't allow for delivery on Sat. They claimed UPS didn't deliver Sat, but they do.

Yesterday alone we spoke with 7 different people, one manager told us they would work on it and call us back within an hour and he never called back and wouldn't take our follow up calls. Multiple people just didn't try at all. The second manager was worse. All someone had to do is talk with someone in production and say this should have gone out Mon, expedite it.

Beyond disappointed. They don't care, no one called and said that it wouldn't ship M,T,W or any time after that. Five t-shirts and one polo, that's all I ordered. Oh, Cafe Press now claims that they didn't have one of the colors in stock. So if you want a grey, red or blue t-shirt, you might want to look elsewhere for those exotic colors.

I'm going to try a competitor. At least they seem interested in actually doing what I paid Cafe Press for. Normally I'd never write a review like this. I've spent HOURS just trying to get my shirts. Consider this a cautionary tale and explore your other options

"I recently purchased some early Christmas gifts online from CafePress. When one of the items arrived I immediately realized it was too small. Customer service was awesome! Although, it was my mistake, they offered to send me the next size up at no charge. I recently had a horrific experience with an online tool store called Dynamite Tool Co. I ordered the wrong item and I was charged a restocking fee for an online store??? and when I asked about the charge for an item that was not used and returned, I received a hateful email that ended with telling me I was "lazy" for not ensuring it was the correct part! It was awful. Thank you CafePress and your excellent customer service. I will never shop at Dynamite Tools again, but am a lifetime customer to CafePress"
