"Mediocre products but truly exceptional customer service. We have ordered both T-shirts and customized Thermoses. The T-shirts wear a little quickly (printing starts to crack after a few washings) and it looks a little odd before the first washing (strange outline around the printing that discolors the shirt slightly until it gets washed). One Thermos had a number of blemishes in the printing. When I called they very quickly and politely apologized and offered to replace the product at no cost to me (and did not make me mail back the defective item). They verified that it would arrive in time, and it arrived even sooner than their estimate. The products may not be spectacular, but the customer service more than makes up for that."
"I bought a clock from them with pictures of fish on it for my son's bathroom. Online the clock looked good. What I got was another matter. They print the image and die cut it to fit the size of the clock. It seems like it was cut a little too big as the picture is warped and wont lay flat. And whoever assembled this clock bent the minute hand and scratched the face. The whole clock is cheap construction of plastic and thin metal. I didnt mind except I paid $25.00! It's not worth 25 bucks. I thought this was something they had in stock, I didnt know they print up each individual picture. My son didnt notice any of it, he likes it. For that reason I didnt contact Cafe Press. I was also afraid of how much trouble they would give me over trying to get a replacement, it would have ended up costing me more to ship it back then to keep the piece of garbage. I can tell you, I will never use Cafe Press again for anything and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. Their stuff is overpriced and cheaply made with no attention to detail or quality."
"I bought two shirts, one for my four year old and one for my five year old. Surprisingly the quality was poor. I expected much more. My four year old's shirt didn't look right from the start. It seemed like it was made for a kid that's three feet tall and two feet wide. It wasn't that big of a deal because I only paid $10 for it. My six year old's shirt was a quality t-shirt but the print was poor. The border of the graphic was frayed like someone simply placed a design on the shirt and spray painted it. Then I noticed the design was about four inches too low on the shirt. It just didn't look right. I wouldn't recommend them for clothing."

Recently, I ordered two of the same t-shirt for two friends of mine. I thought I had ordered a size Large for both of them. When the package arrived, I realized that I had inadvertently ordered X-Large on both by accident. I submitted a request to exchange for the correct size and waited for information on how to ship back what I had. Instead, I got an email telling me to KEEP the X-Large shirts AND they would send out two of the correct size shirts at no additional charge!!! I was dumbfounded!!!

"I ordered two shirts for my friends birthdays (they are twins) on march 15th and made sure they arrived with in the next 10 days. 3 days had passed since I ordered the shirts and there was no shipping history. I called and told them of my problem and they fixed the issue and told me that they upgraded my shipping for free and told me it would arrive on april 28th (1 day before my friends birthday). The package never came and when I went to track the shipping it had just sent out today. I called and they said it will be here tomorrow but it should have been here at least a week ago! If it is not here by tomorrow then I am going to take them to small claims court."

I actually placed an order for a 16 X 20 print, but they emailed me the very next day, stating that those dimensions wouldn't work with the photo I used, so they changed the size to a 16 X 24 at no extra charge.
