"Carol Wright Gifts offers a 'PROMO' code for reduced or free shipping. Then when you receive the package (which is very cheap and not as described) you receive a bill for additional shipping! You can't return the item because Carol Wright Gifts will deduct the higher shipping charges and only offer a refund of pennies on the dollar!! IF you get a refund!!! Notice the 'IF'!! This is a huge scam targeting seniors and is part of a conglomerate of catelog sales running the same scam. They are all owned by Colony Brands headquartered in Monroe, WI. Colony Brands acquired 12 brands from AmeriMark Holdings including Dr. Leonard's, Carol Wright Gifts, and Harriet Carter. Either no BBB membership and very low marks. It has been my sad experience that Dr. Leonard's, Carol Wright Gifts, and Harriet Carter have shipping scams and customers lose money."

Then the fur lined boots I ordered were so small. I ordered them 2 sizes big because of the fur and because socks take space also. A 11 wide was ordered. "I placed an order and got confirmation. Was told 7-10 days before I received items. After 10 days I called to inquire about the order and was told the order was on hold because the account belonged to my husband. I explained the book was in my name but put my husband on the line to approve the order. I was given a confirmation number and was to have expedited delivery because it took so long for the order to ship and noone contacted me regarding the order. After 0 more days still no order so I called back and was told my husband didn't have a credit account and would need to pay half down. I inquired about my account and was told to call customer service and have the order transferred to "MY" account. I did this and then was told I had no credit to buy even though my book says $750 approved credit. I was told no I didn't have approved credit either and would have to pay half down. I told them to cancel the order and I would contact the corporate office. This is a bunch of run around and unnecessary hassle and they have lost a potential good customer."
"I placed a small order because the catalog said buy now and no payments until Feb 2020. I just got an invoice to start paying Nov 2019, three month prior to the "offer" of buy now pay Feb 2020. Very misleding ad. Plus the quality of the items are very very low quality. I will pay them off and I will not order anything else from them. There should be another star labled CRAPOLA.

"I ordered sleeveless dusters for my elderly mother. Carol Wright sent a confirmation that the order had been shipped. Problem was that the confirmation indicated my order was being shipped to the wrong address. I emailed customer service and got a canned response that the order had been shipped correctly. I replied with a copy of the order, pointing out the difference in shipping instructions and their confirmation letter. Their reply this time was 'Sorry. There is a glitch in out system. Ignore the shipping information in that confirmation email.' Glutches sure do not inspire confidence in a company. The package did arrive at the shipping address I had specified. However, the duster was the wrong size from what I'd ordered. And return instructions are (1) confusing and (2) indicate that I have to pay shipping to correct their error. Lesson learned. I will NEVER order from this company again. It is not worth the time or hassle or money. My experience is that thos company is inept."

What items I received I received a very promptly and was pleased with them, but in that order they sent me some wrong items so I called customer service to get that replaced. They claimed they were shipping those right out and was going to expedite them to get to me quicker. It is now 10 days later I still have not received my items, and when I called customer service they placed me on hold 23 minutes and I never did Get to speak with anyone. I had to hang up and call back again and my items that I was told was being replaced had never even been shipped out yet. So now they’re telling me it will be another 10 days and that’s being expedited. This was my first time to order and will be my last time to order. Also beware when they seen your items they charge you $10.94 for a return shipping label that you had not even asked for so there will be this additional charge that they failed to tell you about."
"Ordered 4 items the black sz 10W shoes came as size 8 pink, they resent item but could not see my order on website. Website said I had no orders, but I have a bill. They would send me paper copy, wanted to pay on line but could not as even though I have a bill website says I dont. Will never deal with this company again. They are absolutely clueless"
