"I originally wrote the scathing review below late last week. I received a call from customer service today. They apologized for the delay explaining that they had IT problems last week due to the winter storms that traversed pretty much the whole nation. They are sending out the item and offered to do so at no charge. I don't so much care about the charges. I appreciate them contacting me and I wanted to update this review especially since I sent it not being aware of the issues on their end. They were very accommodating and I think there is a lot to be said for the way they handled the complaint. Thank you.
Like several of the ratings on here I'm having shipping issues. After 18 days and no information on a clock (a stock item I might add) I used their tracking option to follow up. I got an email stating an urgent message had been sent to shopping and I would be notified as soon as possible. After 8 more days I sent another message and copied in their reply from 8 days earlier. I got the same exact email in response. These people obviously don't care one bit about their customers. I'm going to try to cancel the order. I'll bet that will be an adventure.

"I ordered Howard Miller grand father clock from clockway.com. When delivered it seemed fine. A few days later the clock started to shift. The sections were loose. I complained. Clockway.com is complaining that I did not complain durning the delivery. As I said the clocked seemed fine when delivered. Now that I have complained and disputed the charge through my credit card clockway.com is saying they will send the bill to a collection company. I will fight tooth and nail. Clockway.com lost the case with my credit card company because clockway.com never responded to the dispute. I recommend that no one buy a Howard Miller clock or anything from clockway.com. Howard Miller sent out a defective clock that started to fall apart after the delivery. The clock was expensive. Howard Miller used to be a decent company. Now clockway.com and Howard Miller are threatening me because I complained about getting a junk clock. "

"Paid $200 in November 2019 for an item. They said it would be delivered in December. Due to back orders, the shipment date was pushed back to late January 2020. I didn't want to wait that long and Clock Way promptly refunded my money. It was hard to reach someone by phone, but the issue was quickly resolved once I made contact. "
"For our anniversary, my wife chose this clock as a gift to each other. She chose a curio grandfather clock that has shelves to showcase our family photos. The clock was delivered very quickly and in exquisite condition. The clock in person was so magnificent that it brought tears to our eyes. This is truly a keepsake we can pass to our kids. We are so happy with our purchase and will definitely be back. Thanks again for the wonderful clock."
"Charged $2449 for a liquor/wine cabinet on November 25. Heard nothing for two weeks. Emailed them after two weeks and was told it was being shipped to the distribution center and I would get a tracking notice when it got there. On December 10, called customer service numerous times with no answer. On December 12, finally got to talk to a live person. They asked if they could call me back in 10 minutes so I didn't have to wait. They never called back. Called again on December 13, and got the same guy. He says "I talked to you yesterday." I said, "yes, you did. You said you'd call me back in 10 minutes and you never did." He then proceeds to tell me that the cabinet I ordered was out of stock and backordered until at least January. Never since November 25 had this been stated. I then cancelled my order. He told me I would get an email confirming the credit back to my credit card. Of course, I have not received that email, nor is there a credit on my card. They should go out of business. Nobody should have to deal with incompetence like this. Never an apology."

"Ordered item on 10/19. Immediately was charged for item. After 4 days I went to website to submit ticket requesting information on tracking number. Received response that i would receive update on tracking 48-72 hours. It’s been a week since that email and I have yet to receive any additional information on tracking. I put in another request for tracking info but that request was ignored. This is not the way to do business. I understand shipping takes a while but my order hasn’t even shipped yet when it was placed 1 1/2 weeks ago. Not happy at all
