"Waited six weeks for furniture to be delivered. On the day of delivery they called and said there was a problem with the order. They would not tell me what the problem was, but they said it would be another 6 weeks to get my stuff. They also charged my credit card so I am now paying for furniture that I don't even have. I told them to cancel the order, because I did not want to wait another 6 weeks. They then told me there would be a restocking fee of 15%. If it hasn't been delivered why am I being charged a restocking fee??? They said its their policy. That makes a lot of sense."

"Ordered a living room set. The quality of the furniture was ok. The service with Coleman Furniture was not very good. After waiting 10 weeks for delivery, they had forgot to load the sofa on the truck. Several telephone calls between Coleman Furniture and their shipping company I was finally put on with a not so nice supervisor. She informed me that the sofa would not be shipped for another 4 weeks. I wished I would have looked more at their reviews other than what they put on their website. I would have paid the little extra and bought locally. I am concerned now with dealing with them if something goes wrong with the furniture."

"This company does deserve 1 star, such poor service.
I placed an order with Coleman's furniture in Oct and never received the merchandise but was charged an cancellation fee of $115.80. I cancelled the transaction because it was way over 3 months and I continued to receive messages that the merchandise was damaged. This is a warning for all customers, do not do it!!! The company has NO remorse for their customers. Read the reviews of this company before you place an order, something I did not do. There are many unsatisfied customers. I will be going through my attorney to receive my funds back.
Never again will I ever purchase from Coleman and will definitely be spreading the word so no one has to go through this terrible experience again.

I ordered a dining set on January 10th. Freight shipping takes time, so the first scheduled delivery was roughly six weeks later. The base of the table arrived shattered in pieces, so they took it back. They had to go through some kind of verification process that this in pieces base could not be repaired instead of replaced. About two months later, I was rescheduled delivery to finally receive my table. When it arrived, there were no legs for the chairs and the table top was damaged to the point that it could not be assembled. Again, the set was returned and this time repaired. The delivery company took all hardware with them (for some reason), and I contacted both the shipper and Coleman's that I had no hardware to put the set together. I was told by Colemans that they would "overnight" the hardware to the shipping company so they had it before my next scheduled delivery which was now SIX MONTHS after the initial order. When the freight company arrived, naturally they did not have the hardware. I called Coleman's right then and was told that they said they would ship it to me, not the freight shippers. That was absolutely NOT what I was told. I was told it would be overnighted to the shippers so they had it. Anyway, no hardware. The hardware did arrive about a week later and I put it together myself. I guess that constitutes "white glove service" at Coleman's. Buyer beware."

We tried to cancel this order when we learned that it was going to take longer than 3 weeks and are still trying to cancel this order and get a refund. Their support seems to be located in Inda and they are trained to read a script, even if that script has no relation to the problem you have and are describing. It's incredibly ignorant and shows the company's priorities are not customers or their experience. Save yourself the frustration and find a local place to buy furniture. You'll get much better service. "
