"i purchased an amd duron cpu and aopen motherboard.i'm displeased with first the poor packaging second the high price of the limited shipping options $26.25 the cheapest "2day delivery that took 4 days because of the 2 days they took to process and pack my order the condition i recieved itin. and most of all the lack of response from the customer service email site they have yet to respond to answer any of my questions so far. if you read thier about us page. and how their success is based on "the understanding of customer satisfaction" you have to wonder why thier "highly educated staff" doesnt grasp that concept and at least respond to attempt to appease me....over all it was a bad experience and i don't think i'll do busness with them again thank you for letting me express my opinion and warn prospective customers of the poor overall service this company has provided"

"I ordered an Iriver IMP400 CD/MP3 from this store on Sunday. They processed and shipped it on Monday. The product arrived on Wed. Everything in the box is sealed very well. I am very satisfied with the vendor's service although the shipping fee is a little high.

I would shop from them again.

both larger and smaller firms offer greater selection of delivery methods and do not coerce you into a ripoff on the shipping.-buy elsewhere and tell them to acommodate cheaper shipping

Ordered Antec TrueBlue 480 on Thursday. Received email confirmation Friday morning. Ordered (3) Western Digital hard drives Saturday morning. Received email confirmation on Monday morning that hard drives were on their way. Received power supply Monday afternoon. Received hard drives Tuesday morning.

"Very shady deal. Bullets describing MB on thier website listed features the MB did not have. Item appeared to have been opened.

Very expensive shipping even though I did not need or want it. Item took 3 days anyway.

"We made the mistake of ordering a Logitech Momo Force feedback steering wheel from Comp-U-Plus... We won't make the same mistake of ever ordering from Comp-U-Plus again. The order was NOT processed in a timely manner yet our c/card was instantly charged. They sent bogus shipping data to UPS so it looked like our order has shipped but in fact it shiped a day or two after they supplied UPS with the shipping info. electronically.

Then they added a bogus $14.95 shipping charge for UPS Ground service to Zone 4. UPS's published rate for this item is $7.51 including a fuel surcharge and insurance. In reality Comp-U-Plus gets a volume discount so the actual UPS cost to them is typically about $5. This allows Comp-U-Plus to pocket an extra $10. or so on every order. This is one of the dirty little e-tailer tricks used by unscrupulous companies to exploit consumers.

And after Comp-U-Plus failed to expeditiously ship the merchandise, Shake & Break aka as UPS managed to improperly process the package and left it sitting in their Maumee, OH warehouse an extra day. Naturally UPS refused to even look for the package despite the fact their online tracking data showed it never scanned out of Maumee, OH.

Bottomline the package was delivered several days late and under UPS Guaranteed Service we are entitled to a refund of the shipping charges. Naturally since Comp-U-Plus has inflated the shipping charges the will loose $10. of unearned profit if they refund our shipping charges WHICH COMP-U-PLUS STEADFASTLY REFUSES TO DO !

Compu-U-Plus insists UPS does not guarantee Ground Service, which is false. We referred Comp-U-Plus to UPS's website and service guide and they STILL insist that UPS does NOT guarantee Ground delivery service, which is outright false. So now we're going to file a formal complaint with the state Attorney General and FTC for Interstate Commerce fraud.

Comp-U-Plus will not only refund our shipping charges, they'll pay for all legal fees associated with this fraudulent transaction.

IMNHO, any respectable business would NOT charge inflated shipping fees and they would immediately refund shipping charges with presented with documentation to show the order was improperly processed by both their company and UPS. You can be certain they will get their refund from UPS but they believe they can just blow us off. Ain't gonna happen in this life !

"I ordered a PDA from this store for my younger brother, the unit came with a screen defect that he was content just living with but is sort of annoying. I thought it was just a faulty unit and didnt have any negative feelings towards the reseller for that, but later I ordered a PDA for myself, which also had some defects, more serious, i had to get my unit replaced. Here's the kicker: the replacement Comp-U-Plus sent me ALSO HAS A DEFECT. I think they may be selling units that came from the manufacturer with low quality scores or perhaps refurbished units? I got three PDA's in a row from this store with some kind of a defect."

"I ordered an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro from this outfit, because they had the best price and it was in stock.

Eight days later I finally received my order. Imagine my shock and outrage when I opened the box to find an ATI Mach 64 card instead (a $20 PCI card). This card was in a shrink wrapped sealed ATI Radeon 9700 Pro box. This borders on criminal fraud and I intend to lodge a complaint with the NY State Attorney Generals office. This outfit needs to be shut down. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM>

"I purchased a Nomad Zen from them back in February (they were the cheapest on PriceWatch). Got here in good time and in good condition. However, as an afterthought, I wanted to add a Mack warranty on a week later. I figured it was just a piece of paper so the shipping would be cheap.

WRONG! $8.60 to ship a piece of paper, half the price of the warranty itself. I called and tried to speak with them but they were inane.

"I am very happy with the quick shipping. I ordered 1 Hawking CS112U 2 Port USB KVM Mini Switch With 2 USB Hub Ports With Cables on 05/20/03 6:22 am. I requested 2nd day air.I received the item 05/21/03 9:30 am !!! Not only 1 day early, but in very good condition. This KVM switch is the real deal too, works with winxp, win98se, and lets me use my USB wireless keyboard and wireless/deskless mouse (see gyration).Works perfecly right out of the box. "Initial transaction went well, as most do. I received a confirmation e-mail and the shipping info when shipped (thanks). However, UPS forgot to scan my item at the station near my home and my package went right back to the east coast. After speaking to UPS, and getting nowhere, I decided to see if Comp-u-plus could help. I was a pleasantly surpirsed when the CSA at Comp-u-plus got UPS on the phone and went to bat for me. I expected a "sorry but you have to take it up with UPS" response. Unfortunately, her efforts were in vain. She strongly requested UPS pull the item at the next stop and overnight it. It still took 4 more days to arrive. Anyway, the effort and attention was appreciated. Comp-u-plus will get more of my business in the future.

Note: This was the first time I had this type of "mistake" with UPS. My route driver is fantastic to deal with. Someone goofed at the facility. Life goes on. It's a shame that the package went past my house three times before it was delivered though.

"I have ordered here 4 times now, never had any trouble. All my products were brand new and packaged well. The shipping is a little high here but the price is low so it balances out nicely. I just ordered a USB powered Zip 250 which with shipping to my location was $123 bucks. Not bad considering the same exact model number at Walmart was $124 bucks without shipping. I will shop here again."
