"Very fast and reasonable shipping. I need the digital camera in a rush so I ordered from them knowing their 2-day air shipping is fast (ordered from them before). Ordered on Monday and received on Thursday. Pretty good customer service and reasonable price.
Cons:
- Package has no protection (bubble wrap or whatever)
- No price protection when the price drops within one week of order date. Nonetheless, they didn't state it on the website so I cannot complain."
"I don't know about anyone else, but I got my stuff before I got shipping info. I placed the order in the 12th of April, the Monday after a long weekend (Easter, I think). On Wednesday I emailed them asking how things were going with my order (figuring I would give them a break for the long weekend and not beat them up too bad..) and no later did I hit send did than big old FedEx Diesel pull up in my driveway (boy, those things are BIG!) asking for my signature on the dotted line. They had the best price on the iRiver iHP-140 at the time and although I wasn’t inundated with emails, I got what I ordered, before it was promised at the best price I could find. Not too shabby! I’ve placed them on my short list, until they do something to change it, I like’em."
"Ordered Thursday evening through their website. They began processing the order on friday; which is exactly as their site stated. Ships in 1-2 days. Item was shipped on Monday and I received it on Wednesday. I would have liked to see more shipping options though. 2nd Day and overnight were all they had. That kept me from buying a 50 dollar item from them as I didnt want to pay 15 bucks to ship it. Just make sure if you are shipping to another address besides your billing address that it is listed with your credit card company! I read reviews from people who had delays in shipping. My guess is the address wasnt listed. Would buy again on certain items that warrant the shipping costs."

But, right now is 11.30pm and i still havent received the tracking number. "Ordered a Sony DSC-P93 Digital camera and a SanDisk 256 MB Memeory Stick PRO, price was great. Only shipping options were 2 day, overnight, and overnight AM. Went with 2 day (still kinda pricy even as 2 day goes), and card was charged next day. Product didn't ship until Thursday (not the end of the world, but still I did pay for 2 day shipping). Good retailer for price, wish they'd offer more shipping options and get things shipped earlier."

"Placed an order and then got a confirmation email stating that they were on vacation for the next 8 days. Vacation? That just doesn't cut it. Don't take orders if you can't fill them.

"Found a great price on two 40Gb HDD on 4/5/04 at about 8:00p.m. I was a little unhappy about the limited shipping options (2nd day air only)but since this purchase was for my daughter's birthday in 7 days, I would have chosen this method anyway.
After accepting my order and posting a debit against my card account (within 2 minutes)they sent an acknowledgement email which noted that their entire operation was shut down for 9 days and my order would not be shipped (2nd day air, of course) until 4/14/04!
I immediately followed their email links to their customer service web page where I cancelled the order. Total time transpired from order to cancellation: less than 4 minutes.
As of this morning 4/6/04 @ 12:00noon my card account has yet to be credited and there is nothing but a recording on their customer "service" number telling me that there's no one there until next week.
I researched this company before placing an order and found they had received very good feedback. I want to believe that their webmaster is just incredibly stupid for not placing a pop-up on the order page about the delays. Time will tell.

Update: The debit to my account was cleared after posting hours at my bank the following Friday April 9. Only took 2 minutes to debit my account and5 days to credit it. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
I'd never buy from them online again. Maybe by phone so I can verify the ship dates. . . ."

It is now 4 days after the fact and UPS has no knowledge of the tracking number compuplus.com emailed to me. Comp-U-Plus is pathetic!
