"I am very satisfied with my overall purchasing experience at ComputerLX and I highly recommend this retailer to anyone. This was my first purchase from this company for somewhat of a high-end computer. I think the pricing is fair, and, I was able to purchase a computer, which, I believe is about twice as good as one I purchased from another large well-known company before this for about the same cost. (I had to return the other computer to the other company for refund because the entire order was wrong).
What I liked most about selecting a computer was being able to customize it. You could even eliminate a part if you did not need or want it; most parts could be ‘not selected or removed’ from the build. I am not very comfortable about choosing hardware, but, between some online research, and, a couple of consultation calls to their salesperson, Elena who was very helpful and pleasant to deal with, my uncertainty dissipated. Elena also helped me stay close to what I budgeted for a computer. I mentioned to her during one conversation that I was over what I budgeted for the computer. I did not call her for that reason, but, she made some suggestions on changes in components that could be made, and, not significantly change what I wanted in the system configuration. In addition, she left this up to me, no pressure either way. I contemplated and checked further on specs regarding these changes over the next couple of days, and, decided I agreed with her suggestions.
Shipment – packaged well and quick delivery, shipped within 7 business days and received 2 days later. One minor problem with the computer upon receipt. The fan mounted on the removable side panel was disconnected from the motherboard located on the other side panel. It may have come off in shipping, or, I may have inadvertently disconnected it when opening the side panel. Again, no big deal, except the fan cable was not long enough for me to reconnect it, then, close the panel. I could tell it would just about reach when the panel is closed, but the panel could not be moved even slightly without disconnecting it. I purchased an extension cable in order to reconnect it. Maybe an oversight, but I think the extension cable should have been part of or added to the build.
Anyway, my decision to purchase from ComputerLX also was reinforced by the surveys and ratings here. The company has a very high overall rating, and, they respond to any dissatisfaction. My opinion is: if they want customer feedback here indicates they want customer satisfaction.

"Was my first pc build and i ordered over the phone. They were very helpful guiding me through purchasing exactly what i wanted. A little over a week later i got my pc, it worked great, had them pre-install the OS. Ive had the pc for about a week now and its still working fine.

Only problem was i ordered 3 blue LED lighted fans, 2 on front and one on the side. The pc came with all the fans but only the two on the front were lit and they were white lights not blue. I chose not to call them about it because it was such a minor fault that didnt really matter much to me. "

If I didn't have email on my phone my order could've been delayed awhile until I looked at my email. "My son built his own computer, some of the things he picked where not compatable, they let me know right away. Friendly and helpfull. Computer was received sooner than expected. Box was badly damaged when it arrived and thrown out by the company that installed the OS ,keybord was broken, and i should of read a little closer on the waranty.( 3 years is actually 1 year) and now may be void because no original box. But computer runs great so if hes happy im happy for now."
