"Recently I have come into a problem with Geeks.com In the past it has been a glorious experience over all till this order. Due to security settings on my computer, and the way they transfer images in there site, the photo's of this product were blocked for suspicious behavior. I refused to unlock that particular issue to allow it to be display. I use KasperSky BTW. Anyway My first order delivery was incomplete and had another one shipped with no problems. The Description was for a PATA 44PIN IDE to Desktop 40 PIN Standard Cable. This is inaccurate because both sides are 44 PIN configurations. So I Referred to my email to documented the incident # to correct this problem. The Email reads this;

"I purchased a VOX N1 External Hard Drive Enclosure & NAS Storage because it was inexpensive and listed on a deals website as having good reviews.
Purchase went smoothly. Instantly billed and emailed with verification. Fairly certain I purchased the last one in stock. Shipping was slower than I'd have liked, but still within the range of being acceptable.
The item arrived poorly packaged, with the interior packaging being damaged. It quickly became apparent to me that this was a returned or open box item, as there was scratches and slight damage to the product. In and of itself, this would not have caused me to return the product, so long as it functioned properly.
However, the product was listed as being able to accept IDE hard disks, which it does not. The interface with this product is strictly SATA (signal & power). While a USB and RJ-45 cable were included, the cabling to plug the hard drive into the enclosure was missing, rendering it useless!
I emailed Computer Geeks two and received no response through their website contact form. I gave up once the 30-day return window had passed, and am now stuck with a hunk of useless plastic.
I've attempted to purchase the cables from other retailers, but have been unable to locate cables that are: 1) short enough, 2) low enough profile, and 3) are male-to-female.
The manufacturer so far has not yet responded to my inquiries.

UPDATE: The company contacted me quickly after reading my review here. It's been a while since then. They arranged for me to send the equipment back for a full store credit (not refund because it was past 30 days, IIRC). I used the full amount on an order for different enclosures, which arrived promptly and did work.
Some time during the resolution process, the customer service agent I had been working with had a family emergency and stopped responding to emails for a week. They should have forwarded the case to another agent, but I suppose I understand.

After the original customer service agent came back from his family emergency, he worked to get me some replacements. They worked well enough. Moving up to 4 stars."

Since I liked the unit's display and no replacement was available at Geek's, I returned it to the manufacturer, only to receive a refurbished 3.5 in. screen. Nextar adamantly refused to do any further adjustment, despite my willingness to accept a 4.3 unit refurb. instead of a new one.
So I went back to Geeks and they immediately gave me a FULL refund.
I've been a loyal Geeks customer for years (since 2001)because of their unbeatable prices; but this action of superb customer care tops the cake and made me a satisfied customer FOR LIFE.

"Received my Royal P150-256 digital photo frame in great condition,on schedule, took my memory card from my 7" digital frame, put it in this 15" and instantly they did a slideshow and WOW the pics are just poppin! "I have bought a refurbished blackberry pearl from computergeeks.com. I am unhappy with the product I have received. It is the worst refurbished product for the price I have paid for. The interior of the phone is full of scratches and I am not sure if the refurbished skin is original blackberry. I can make out that this product was used for years. "I ordered some parts in the beginning of the month. They sent me the wrong motherboard which I saw and promptly called to have it exchanged for the right one. They didn't have the right one in stock so they said they will refund the money. I must of have called over 5 times just to get my money returned and today my Credit card showed the return yet the amount is even wrong. I am sick and tired of their hold time and there runarounds I am not fighting for the correct return now just be warned be careful when you order from them. If there is a mistake even on their part they will do absolutely nothing to help you until you call them and direct them to start. I had to tell them according to fedex the item was returned only then they were like alright let me check and see if we got it. They are probably the worst experience I ever had. Stick to reputable dealer such as newegg or tigerdirect. At least with them they are prompt and customer service is much better. Still can't believe after all that they refunded the wrong amount. That just shows the nonprofessional attitude of the company."
