"Poor service, great price, but I guess you get what you pay for. My product came in a damaged box due to shipping. I wrote into CostCaptain that I was missing parts (nuts and bolts) for my order. No Response, doubt I will shop here again (despite the significant savings). All web customer service is horrible. Disappointing experience."

"We ordered a Wacom Tablet for our daughter's birthday. I comparison shopped online and found CostCaptain to have the lowest price. It was advertized as an Academic Tablet. We did not understand they were giving a discount for students and teachers. I contacted costumer service and asked if her high school student id card would be acceptable. They promptly replied that it was acceptable. We then waited for several weeks with no change in the order status. I called costumer service to ask what was going on. I was told it had shipped and was expected to be delivered that day. A half an hour later it really was delivered. All in all we were very happy with the price and costumer service. We felt the shipping was slow and the order status was not kept up to date but will order from CostCaptain again. "

"I am a student at Northern VA community college and I needed software right away for a class I was taking. I tried ordering it from another vendor and after waiting 3 days my order still had not shipped. I called customer service to find out why and they said they were still approving my order. Needless to say, I called CostCaptain, and spoke with Maya, and she verified my student information the same day and I had my software within 3 days. Great job CostCaptain, I will recommend you anytime. "

"The prices are very low. My gripe is the item I ordered was out-of-stock and on back order, I wish costcaptain.com would disclose this information on their site prior.I had to reach out to them to find this out instead of them reaching out to me beforehand. Also, I didn't like the fact that I was charged immediately for the item, although I was still waiting for the item to be available from back order. I finally received the item after three weeks but without any notification that my item had been available and was shipped. I think better communication with their customers would be essential."

"My experience was fair at best. My order was pending for overt two weeks and I hadn't received an email containing any status update. I had to email cost captain myself in order to get the situation taken care of and shipped out. I still haven't received my tablet case yet but I have recieved my shipping g charges back to me for the mistake. I'm hoping all is well with the tablet case but that is to be determined upon arrival.

"My order was a little slow to process and I wasn't sure if it was normal or not. I contacted customer service and they were on it right away. They took care of my order quickly and efficiently. I actually received my order 2 days earlier than they projected after contacting customer service. I am overall pretty satisfied with my CostCaptain experience. "Order submitted Dec 4 and paid extra for 1 day shipping. Order did not arrive until Dec 15. I had to purchase another version Dec 14, to finish project due Dec 15, 2012.

Have contacted customer service about a return and credit. This was Dec 15. Have not heard yet, December 19.
