"I ordered an Epson scanner over a month ago. My credit card was billed the next day. I still have not received the scanner. I have called numerous times requesting the status or a tracking number from the shipper...no luck. I have emailed their customer support department virtually every day asking for an update. Never have received the tracking information or the status of the order.

I can not recommend doing business with this company. I am sorry for the extremely negative review, but this is the worst service I have ever recieved.

"Initially pretty disappointed. Had Orderred 2 LeapPad 2's with 2 sets of chargers. I turned out the the LeapPads had been sold out. I had to contact costomer seervices to find out why my order had not shipped. As these were Christmas gifts for my daughter I was becoming concered that I might not have time to get them elsewhere (time running out and not knowing how long it would take for a refund) Costumer service was GREAT and helped me out by send the chargers extra fast and refunding me for the Leapads very quickly."

"I found costcaptain online and they had what we were looking for at a GREAT price. I ordered the product on 11/28 but I did not receive the product until 12/17. I was told countless times by customer service that it had shipped but that was untrue. After 7 to 10 emails trying to get status I received one that was truly status of the shippment. Overall the company has really good prices but I am not sure if I would order from them again. "

"I placed an order for an item that appeared to be in stock and the confirmation said it would ship in 3-5 days. After 2 weeks, it still hadn't shipped. I called and was told the item was on backorder and would ship in another week. After a week and a half, and no update, I called and emailed and was told that the item was still on backorder. The representative said I could wait until it was in stock, or she could substitute for another product. The substitute cost a little more, but they offered to honor the price of the original product. Because I needed the gift, I opted for the substitute. It was shipped right away and delivered a couple of days later. Not what I really wanted, but good enough. My only complaint is the lack of communication over out of stock items."

"Great product pricing, but slow shipping. I had to reach out a week after placing my order, and it was another week before the item shipped.

Customer service folks were very friendly and responsive, reaching out several times while they were researching the shipping delay.

"Don't use CostCaptain! My product's shipment was delayed for over two weeks with no proactive outreach from the company to explain; product then arrived damaged. Have been calling for three days to complain but no one picks up at their service center; have left two voicemail messages over the last two days and no response. I'm so disappointed that will be filing complaints w the Department of Consumer Protection and Better Business Bureau!

*PS: I see CostCaptain responded to this post; please let it be clear that yes, I did receive the product (as I noted above it was damaged). My complaintS revolve around the 2+ week holdup in shipping, the damage, AND how two voicemails left with their customer service center have gone unanswered (in addition to dozens of call in that go unanswered and eventually end up in voicemail).

Interestingly enough, the company popped on here and wrote a response to my post in less than 24 hrs while my voicemails have gone left unanswered. I am taking their suggestion to try communicating via email, and I'll see if I can get my ultimate request, a refund of shipping, honored.

PPS - I have gotten responses to my email request, and shipping was refunded.

"I had absolitely horrible service. I ordered from CostCaptain on 12/4/12. The order was taken out of my account on 12/7/12. I contacted them on 12/11/12 because my order was still being processed. They contacted me back stating they would pass it on to their shipping manager. I contacted them again on 12/12/12 because it still said processing. I finally called them on 12/13/12, and had to call multiple times because they had a long call wait time (I had the option of leaving a message, but I am a teacher, and unable to take phone calls during the day). I finally was able to talk to someone, and after 10 minutes on the phone, they 2nd day aired my items, but never gave me an explanation or apology as to why the order took so long. I am not planning on ordering from CostCaptain again."
