I emailed customer service to ask what happened and whether they lost my order or no longer had the item in stock, I don't know. What I do know is that 2 days later I received a box from amazon containing the item I ordered from CostCaptain. They were nice enough to find one AND practically over-nighted it to me in order to have it by Christmas. They truly went above and beyond. I only wish all business owners ran with such ethics. "

"I received an immediate acknowledgement of my order but had to call to confirm when it would ship. It was 10 days before receiving my shipping confirmation. The C/S person was very polite and helpful. Once I made the call the product shipped and arrived in a timely manner and was well packed and undamaged. Overall, it was a good experience not great but I would order from them again. It does look like waiting 10 days to ship is a typical problem here.

"I have been a customer of Cost Captain since 2009 and have made several purchases. Cost Captain provides a great service by offering well priced software for students. This particular time, things changed but Cost Captain's customer service and sales people did not inform me of the changes so I spent more than one month wading through red tape in order to download my software. Their customer service team was unhelpful and actually rude throughout the process -I am almost convinced it isn't worth the discount. In short, if you don't need assistance with obtaining the code to install software, you're good to go. But obtaining the code is not intuitive so you are taking your chances. "
