"Ordered a Boombotix mini speaker which cost captain claimed to have in stock on November 25th. The item did not arrive until December 18th, and the item did not work at all.
Customer service took forever o respond and every time they claimed the product was on it's way even giving me different non valid shipping tracking numbers for UPS. Once i got the item and it was defective, CostCaptain wanted to have me send it back to the manufacturer in order to get a replacement one and wait another month. Was fortunately able to get a full refund but only after finding Cost Captain's office phone number (not listed on their site) and threatening to issue a charge back on my credit card and contact the BBB."
"I appreciated your commitment to not just sell to "anybody" but require verification of eligibility. I also appreciate so much that you accepted retired teachers that are no longer working full-time. The product was shipped and arrived in a timely manner after ordering and installed just fine. "Same thing here. Ordered a Christmas gift on Sunday with expedited shipping which they charged me immediately for. Two days later I am told the product is not in stock and a refund will be issued. Thanks costcaptain you left me scrambling to find a replacement. With an added slap in the face by holding my money hostage for the past week leaving me tight on funds. Still waiting for the refund one week and counting. I'm usually hard to fool when buying online, but you fooled me. You came up as a reputable dependable sight on google shopping. But rest assured you will be reported to google as fraudulent. Hey here's an idea "ship first bill second". Not "list the cheapest price on the Internet, dupe lots people into buying it with your fraudulent reviews, taking all the money instantly to shore up your corrupt business.""
"My initial ordering process went very smoothly, I submitted all information before hand. It was approved for purchase, (since it is a student/ teacher version) was by Maya, and I was told to go ahead and purchase the product. I purchased the product, figuring that it would be shipped in a few days. After a week or so of no communication from CostCaptain, I inquired as to where the product was, at that point I was told that it was waiting for me to send my verification for approval. No one bothered to contact me during that time to let me know that it was once again waiting for me to submit my forms (which I had already sent in and were approved). I forwarded past emails to Maya again and was told to go ahead and purchase the product, upon telling her that I already had and was waiting for it to ship, she then sent another email that I would be receiving the shipping information. Once all of this was sorted out, the product got here with no problems. I just wish it would have gone a bit smoother and that I had been able to get the product sooner as it was purchased as a gift for me. Product was order on 11/21/12 and was received on Dec 12 "
"Buyer beware!!!!! I ordered something on Nov. 26th and on Dec. 22 I sill do not have it. That is a real problem since it was supposed to be a christmas gift. I even contacted them on Dec. 9th to see where my order was. The said they would expidite it to the shipping manager and that is all I heard. I am not sure it is a real company. I would pay extra and go somewhere else."

"Item didn't ship until I called and left a message (10 days after purchase). First shipping information e-mailed was completely wrong (wrong carrier and invalid number). Item was finally shipped and correct information was given over two weeks after initial purchase."

Almost instantly CostCaptain was able to verify my affiliation with the Mobile, Alabama County Public School System and saved me a bunch. I ordered a HP color printer 11/25/12, paid to deliver in 3-5 days. However, I waited 2 weeks, nothing happened. I emailed their costumer service, no answer. My credit care account was charged 11/26/12. I wonder if this a real company?"
