"We ordered a bathroom vanity with granite top. The shipping time for this item was 2-4 weeks. After 5 weeks, we called the shipping company and they said they would have to investigate and call us back. No call back. We had to again call and get mad--then they said it will be another week. I like to order things with no hassles. The item did show up after 6 weeks in great condition. We had torn our bathroom apart and our house was in a mess and delivery being 2 weeks longer than quoted is unacceptable. The shipping company not following through and calling us back--unacceptable. Also, only because the shipping company gave me the costco customer service number, I could not find a phone number to actually talk to someone at Costco personally. They have a customer service number to call but that is computer operated only--that is the only number on their website. Customer service rep at Costco was very professional and nice, but could only say she was sorry. Never will use Costco.com again. "
"Costco has earned my business because of their no-hassle returns policy. I had a lousy weekend because the starter and battery on my car died this weekend, and the local parts store (checker) gave me a ton of grief on returning a defective starter, insisting on testing the starter on their bench and the battery as well, which took hours of my valuable time.
Costco on the other hand (the number 490 store in North Phoenix) accepted my battery for a return and gave me all my money back (battery died within 2 years of original purchase). This speedy return saved me a lot of aggravation. I immediately turned around and used all the money refunded to buy a new car battery plus a lot of extras I hadn't planned on buying.
Costco is what Sears USED to be for customer service, and I'm glad to have them around. There is precious little help out there in retail anymore, and these guys seem to try hard."
" I ordered the ZT 7337XA PHNMIIX4 945. The shipping box was in great shape and contents packed very well. I received my order at a good price and as advertized. This is the first time I have purchased a product from Costco. I will do business with this store again."
"Do not order glasses at Costco unless you have hours of time to waste and do not mind being treated like dirt.
They have a numbered queue system which is a clear indicator that they prefer to keep fewer people working and have customer wait than the opposite. However, waits can be very, very long and they often ignore the numbering system and the girls working there will provide service to any 'cute' guy in any order they choose.
I recently order glasses there and have never been so poorly treated and had so much time wasted. In the end I canceled the order... which seemed to delight them.

"Ordered from Costco online a ZT systems computer 2082Xa on 11-14-09 and rec'd delivery 11-19-09 . Was kept up to date with e-mail regarding purchase and delivery. Prices very competive with others.
Would definitely purchase again from Cosco. The added one year warranty of electronics is a bonus."
"I am a Costco member and do most of my shopping at their brick-and-mortar store. But some specialty items are only available online and that is why I am writing this review.
I have ordered KIRKLAND(Costco brand)specialty nutritional supplements three times. Each time costco.com provided good email communication about receiving and shipping my order. The orders always arrived in good shape on the date that delivery was promised.
Overall, I have been very pleased with my experience at costco.com."
"This review is ONLY related to Costco.com purchases.
I've purchased 4 or 5 things through Costco.com and have been quite pleased overall (coverking seat covers, emergency food suppy, netbook...). In each case, price was the best I could find on the item (otherwise I would have just gone elsewhere) and even on the heavy items (such as the food) shipping was either free or very low.
Had to do a return on the netbook, as something was wrong with it. Per the return instructions just took it to the costco B&M store counter and they gave me no hassel on the return. Only odd thing was since they don't use Visa cards in-store (but you can use them at Costco.com) they had to give me cash on my refund.
I'd certainly buy from Costco.com again based on my experiences."
"I bought a customized HP from Costco last April 2008 & the motherboard went out in July of this year. Computers should last 3 to 4 years with no serious problems, but I had bought from Costco so I thought, "No problem, I'll have it serviced under the 2 year warranty." I got a dose of reality. You are on your own after the 90 day return guarantee. What happened is I contacted Costco's Concierge services & spoke with a "technician" for about 1.5 hours, who was clearly just reading a list of things to do. Nice person, he just didn't know much about computers. Finally, he said he could get a case number and have a box sent from the warranty company (the warranty company isn't Costco, it's a third party contractor). The return box arrived and it was too small, so I called and they informed me the computer I had bought from Costco wasn't the one in their records, they claimed the computer sent to me was a slimline (what a load of "carp"). I had my packing slip clearly stating it was an A6460t, and my receipt. After dealing with a number of other people the last person said they wouldn't honor the warranty, because there was no proof I bought the computer from Costco. Wouldn't you like to hear THAT from someone that's supposed to be providing service? I took the computer to my local Costco & spoke with three people, finally ending up with someone claiming to be a manager. I had explained the warranty refusal, shown them my proofs of purchase and the computer with matching model and serial numbers. They pointed to the 90 day return policy and refused to take the computer back. I pointed to the 2 year warranty, the accusing attitude of Costco's service company representative, their refusal to honor the 2 year warranty and asked for a return. They refused, gave me another case number, and told me to go through the process again...a "mistake" had been made, so they said. The mistake was mine, I bought a computer from Costco...buyer beware. After 90 days you are on your own, the run around begins. I'm now looking at a month or more to get my HP computer serviced, having to send it half-way across the country to a third party service provider that's proven to be untrustworthy. I'll continue buying from Costco, but never again a computer. The one star is for their cheaply built computers and service. I depend on my computers to run my business, but cannot depend on Costco to support my business critical systems.

"Very pleased with every purchase. Delivered on time with emails with the shipping status."
"I place many online orders through Costco.com and have always had positive experiences. The products are always quick to shop. The one time I was unhappy with a product, I enjoyed the convenience of returning the item to a local Costco retail store."
"Ordered two Toshiba high def TV's, one a 46 inch the other a 40. On the larger set, bought first, we used the white glove service, and the installer/driver was a guy who had worked in programming and technology. He knew all a customer would want or need, and it was helpful for him to do the setup and familiarize me with the manual.
The second set was delivered by UPS, and it arrived in good condition, there was some assembly required to assemble the stand and lock it in place in the TV. Nothing difficult, in a few minutes the set was attached to the DVR and performing excellently. Costco's order handling, communicating delivery dates, having the white glove shipper call to confirm delivery...all good, solid service with the customer/member's satisfaction in mind.
The televisions were offered at very reasonable prices and appear to us at least, to outperform the top of the line Sony Bravia units. Someone at Costco did their homework when selecting these units to be carried by Costco. There's an extra year's worth of warranty and free "concierge service" tech support available that friends and family members here have had very good service from.
A few years back a high end PC monitor failed after 17 months of use; Costco took it back, FULL REFUND, no questions asked. Who else does that???
Costco's prices are not always the lowest, no merchant can possibly offer every item at the lowest price. Service, backing up products, responding to member's questions, and quite often very good prices...all add up to excellence in service, product selection, courtesy, and a good shopping experience."
"Placed order Dec 16 for 10 calendars using online photo service. Web site stated 2 day processing time and I paid an extra $38 for 2 day shipment. 6 days later, still no shipment, with no commit date. There goes the Christmas presents. Extremely dis-satisfied. No intention of ever using on line service again.
12/23 Update: Wrote letter to CEO of company on 12/20, actually got a response from company employee with a name and email address. Promised to get order shipped on 12/23 with next day delivery on 12/24.
12/24 Update: Order arrived 3:40pm via UPS. I will give Costco credit for responding quickly by upgrading my "extremely dissatisfied" to "ok". However, one shouldn't have to go to the CEO to get good service.
My prior experience with Costco online was good, in that the TV's that I purchase were delivered as promised. It appears significant issues arrise only if you have "problems" "
"After a horrible experience with a company called eCost, which sold me a Westinghouse 42" TV for a very good price plus $50 shipping and a six month warranty and never delivered, I kicked myself and went to Costco online, where the exact same item was being sold for TEN BUCKS MORE..... lousy ten bucks!.... with a two year warranty to boot.
Costco was always my preferred vendor when I lived in a city that had one of their stores. Now, I'm old and in the boonies. No Costco, but they're online with the same great prices and service. I got my TV three days after ordering it, and am totally happy with both Costco and my Westinghouse LCD TV. To sum up: I should have gone to Costco right away, instead of wasting time with a bunch of incompetents."
"These guys are incredible! I had purchased a HP all-in-one printer 3 years ago. Like most HP printers, it self-destructed. Because my daughter had purchased it for me at Costco she returned it...AFTER 1 YEAR...they took it back and gave her a full refund.I now find out that they give a 2 year warranty on all electronics. Just bought a 26" Vizio TV last week cause' I love their warranties so much. Also...if you pay for it by AMEX...they extend the warranty ...to 3 YEARS!"
"Ordered a Canon printer online at Costco.com that I researched from Consumer Reports. The confirmation email said it would ship 7-10 days and I had it in my hands within 3 days. Exactly what I ordered and received in very timely fashion. Very pleased with Costco.com"
