"I ordered a Pentium 4 2.8 GHz 800FSB 1M cache processor through pricewatch.com where they advertised it with free shipping for $163. The price on their website did not match pricewatch price, so I put a note in the comments section. I figured it would be processed the next business day, the 10th. When I checked on the order status the following week, it was on hold. Throughout the week, I repeatedly e-mailed them asking whether or not they would process the order. Finally, on May 17, a week after they should have begun processing the order, I was fed up with waiting and cancelled the order. Immediately after I cancelled, I received an e-mail from a sales representative. Luckily, I cancelled in time to avoild their restocking fee. Buyer beware: If you want to receive your parts in even a relatively timely manner, don't go with CyberdreamZ."
"I recently bought two Western Digital 80gig hard drives from bycyberpc.com. Their price listed on pricewatch.com was $65 per hard drive, and $4.99 shipping. Well, turns out, the $4.99 shipping rate applies to USPS shipping, and they only bulk ship. Meaning, they wait for a bunch of orders to come in, and then once they hit whatever their number is, then they ship you your product. They don't give you any idea when it will come, and you just have to be okay with that. Then, when I asked the lady on the phone, who had the thickest possible Indian accent, about using UPS or FedEx, she said they would have to charge me an additional $18.99. I mean, we're looking at the original $4.99 times 2 (for both drives) plus an additional $18.99 to go UPS. That's a total of $28.97 to ship two hard drives via UPS Ground. This had got to be the most astronomical number for shipping such a light-weight product I've ever heard. I will never use this vendor again."
"They advertise $30 including immediate shipping and a 1 year warranty on Pricewatch.com. I placed an order with them for this identical Mitsumi Drive, my order total on their website came to $63.47, and when I added to the comment section of the order that I expect to receive it at the advertised Pricewatch price, or I will tell my credit card company that it's an unauthorized charge, they cancelled my order. Here is their e-mail:
We have a right to refuse service to anyone and in your case there is no issue of price.
We don't want to sell you any product on basis of threat and we are not going to charge any amount on your card, we have a right to refuse service to anyone.
Thanks..

The only reason I made the threat of action with my credit card company is that they have a record of doing this to customers, according to their feedback at Pricewatch.com, and by their cancellation rules, they could have still charged me a restocking charge on a cancelled order prior to shipment. I would have thought they would have dropped the Pricewatch.com ad after this, but they keep it up, number one in the list with absolutely no intent on honoring the deal.

"Well I ordered a Hard drive on Pricewatch from them despite the reviews here I soon learned many of those reviews were indeed correct.
I ordered the drive on a Friday night. Called Saturday afternoon to make sure the order went through ok and they had seen the note about pricewatch so as to get the advertised price. I got a recording, but since it was a Saturday I figured maybe they just weren't open.
Monday I called again and ask why my order was on hold. (I checked the website order status page and it said it was on hold) I was told the USPS kept loosing their packages and was then ask if I wanted to ship it FedEx, for $36. That was way more than what I wanted to pay for the advertised "free shipping". So I told them no thanks just send it USPS she said ok.
Wednesday I called them again because the order was still on hold and was told the drives were out of stock and wouldn't be in until next week. So I canceled the order and ordered from another company. The lady was polite and canceled it right away.
One catch that might get some of you is to call them it's a long distance call no 1-800 number, I use my cell phone so it doesn't cost me anything.
So buyer beware, they sell things they don't have in stock and won't notify you at all about the delay this might cause. Because it was for personal use it didn't matter so much. However had I been building someone else a computer that wasted week would have been very uncomfortable. "
"Like the person below, I ordered the same drive from these clowns, and entered the comment in the comments box PER THEIR INSTRUCTIONS to receive the advertised price. I got an email confirmation quickly, but the link to check order status leads to "This store no longer exists. No further information is available." Phone # is no good, it rings and then disconnects. Complete waste of time."
"I ordered a Mitsumi 54X32X54 Internal CDRW drive. Not only did the price not match Pricewatch on their website, there was no coupon option to adjust price. I ordered the unit anyway, and with shipping it came to $52.32, when it should have been $34.00 shipped! I explained this in the comments area on the order form and they cancelled the order without telling me. Today (2 weeks later) my customer asked for a status of her new CD writer and I look like a total jerk! Thanks guys...you'll never see another order from me!"
"I didn't actually buy anything from this company, but thought it strange that device drivers would be a seperate charge from the hardware device i was shopping for."
"This company advertised 2 Sony drives, one dvd and one cdrw. When the items got to my house they worked, but made some weird noises and were not opening at the correct speeds. I contacted them and at first they told me it was normal. So I contacted Sony. They told me that it was NOT normal. I once again told CyberDreamz about the problem and the told me that they would be happy to exchange the item. I pulled the drives out of the computer only to realize that they were used drives that had been refurbished and that the warranty seal had been broken. I called them a third time and they told me that I broke the seal and they only sell "new" products. I got so PO'ed that I did not bother sending the drives back considering their return policy. If you read it close enough. They offer a 30-day warranty on the item, but in the small print it tells you that it is 30 days from the date you ordered the item. After I ordered the item it took them a week and a half to ship it at a high rate and another week for me to recieve it. So I basically had a week and a half warranty on something that is supposed to have a 30 day warranty. I will never use this company again and have turned them into the Better Business Bureau, but have not heard back from them yet."
"Bought 6 new WD 30.7 GB Hard Drives, installed and sold them. One went bad after a few months. WD would not honor RMA because the hard drives were actually manufactured in Aug. 2000 . They had been sitting on a shelf for 2 1/2 years! We called cyberpc they told us they only offer 30 days warranty. I assumed even if they only had 30 day return, a new hard drive would carry manufacturers warranty. We will have to eat the cost because we bought through this shady business."
"Purchased BRAND NEW 100 GB Western Digital 7200 RPMs Caviar Hard Drive for $135 plus shipping as quoted on pricewatch.
I received a USED (had Windows 2000 on it, and some other folders) drive.
The drive took so long to arrive, and I was so desperate by the time it got to me, I didn't bother to return it, or even contact them about it.
Although so far the drive is working fine, when I pay for a NEW item, I expect a new item.
This is unscrupulous business practice, and I will not buy from them again."
"PriceWatch quoted the WinXP OEM Home package at $84.00 w/ FREE shipping w/ Purchase of additional hardware. Ordered the item with a 12.99 floppy drive. Mentioned in my comments of the order that price and shipping needed to be adjusted to match PriceWatch price. Upon calling the next day to verify that the prices had been adjusted I was informed that the OEM package was but the shipping was only dropped down to $16.00.. That's $16.00 for a $12.99 floppy drive!!!! WTH? I tried to cancel my order right then, but the sales/CS person reminded me of their 10% cancelation fee.. What a crock. I'll never do business with these people again. "
"This company was highly recommended from members on various computer hardware forums, and I can see why. I placed my order on a weekend day, and the order was quickly confirmed and shipped (and I received timely emails detailing each of these actions). I received my well-packed items on Wednesday. I found CybedreamZ, Inc. prices to be competitive, and the shipping was reasonable. Even though I call them for technical support to get some help about the products they were really help full and friendly with me. I talk to technical support for half an hour. There are No complaints at all. I would recommend CybedreamZ, Inc to my closest friends."
