"Very frendly and reliable service! My recent purchase experience with DealExtreme is pretty good. I ordered a tablet from DX and it was shipped in about 4 weeks. The tablet works fine except the charging is a bit slow. I issued a ticket to DX complaining about the issue and I got a quick response from their customer service representative in about 12 hours (the live in Canada which has a time difference of 12 hours to DX head office in Hongkong) and offering me either shipping the item back for a replacement or giving me a discount to compensate for the slow charging. I elected the latter as the issue is not that big and in this way I don’t have to waiting for another few weeks to get the replacement shipped.
The response has been always quick regarding items they sold and I have been happy so far. Now I am much less hesitate to order items from DX as I know they will offer excellent service should the items received have any problems. It is worry free. Thanks DX team!

"If you want to order something, pay for it, then maybe receive it so long afterwards that you completely forgot you ever ordered it, DX is for you. They fail on every level, except for saying 'SORRY, PLEASE WAIT LONGER' where they excel. I have been waiting for two orders for months and have been demanding a refund for the last month, with, surprise surprise, no response, just automated 'sorry, please wait longer'. Their help is options are useless, online live chat are useless, unable to action anything, just apologise more. The ticket service is painfully slow, automated again, and seemingly unable, or unwilling to help. The orders that I have received are poorly packed, disjointed and VERY slow. Be warned, you may never see your goods, and you will NOT be refunded, I speak from experience."

"I was customer for a long time. Today I decided never again to order something at DX due to their lousy Customer Service.
I didn't receive my package due to postage issues or whatever. Now I had 2 choises:
1) re-order and pay shipping costs
2) cancel order, refund (minus shipping costs).
It is free shipping to NL. My order was 35USD and DX takes 7USD off my refund.

"I have ordered in the past. Just cheap stuff I don't need fast. But this time I ordered a bike light. It stated right on the description it needs four batteries, and gave the size. Unusual size. SO I ordered a set off ebay with a charger.
A month later my light finally arrives. There is NO WAY it takes any form of battery at all. It has a cord with an odd plug at the end. NO instructions on the description OR in the package. And it seems you have to mount it on your handle bars with a rubber band like thing it came with. I don't even mind that, but how does one power it? I have no clue.
Now.. just TRY and get support. Submitting a ticket is like pulling teeth. I had to dig up the order number, and some other number, ok found both. Then they want pictures? Of what? The new item I just got? Fine I pulled the picture off their listing and sent in that. What's the point? The DESCRIPTION is what's wrong.
There is no way to call them unless I want to get up in the middle of the night and make an international call. I don't.
I'm sitting on their "live chat" right now. Waiting..... endlessly waiting. Decided to look this site up and OH MY GOD it seems in the past year it's really gone down hill.
If I EVER get someone to help, I want to ship this useless light back and get my money back. I'll NEVER shop there again.
Oh... I keep getting their promotional emails too. Click opt out. Fill in my info, get a thing saying they will send me a confirmation email. It never comes. Been sending their junk through spamcop now. Maybe their ISP will opt me out.
ha... chat FINALLY answered. Told me to submit a ticket. Which I already did. And around we go. Wonder if I shouldn't just call my credit card company and go that route. Except I think there is a 30 day limit on that. Took 30 days for the thing to show up.
Never again. Avoid this site. Or at least don't spend what you can't afford to throw away."
