" S-H-A-D-Y~!!! Bought a Canon EOS 20d from this store two weeks back or so. The shop states this, "Shop with confidence! All products we carry are factory sealed, complete with all factory supplied accessories, and a full manufacturers USA warranty." However product was NOT sealed! Plastic protector films was NOT included! Warranty card was NOT filled out! and what more, it is NOT NEW at all! It is a refurbished item!!! The camera had shutter exposures already in them! Overall, I would recommend people to spend a few more $$$ than buy from a store this low and shady. Definitely stay away from this store! do NOT recommend to anyone!"

"After reading the "Very Satisfied" reviews on this retailer, I placed an online order. Other than the e-mail order confirmation, I did not receive any communication from Digital Mega Store regarding the status on my order, nor was the order listed in my Account History. After the 3rd day of placing my order, I called Customer Service and was told my order had not been processed by the Billing Department yet, but should be processed most likely by the following day. About 1-1/2 hours later I received a call from Digital Mega Store stating the item I ordered was "out of stock" and it was unknown when new stock would be received, so I cancelled the order. After I got off the phone, I searched their web site on the item, and NOT to my surprise, the item was listed as "In Stock" and $49 higher in price. I guess either they did not want my business at the lower price, or it was a “bait and hook” sales pitch. Also, the member “mariusd” is correct in stating Digital Mega Store DOES NOT use a secure https URL for the ordering process. After this unsatisfactory experience, I will be sure to keep an eye on my credit card account to make sure no erroneous charges from Digital Mega Store appear. My suggestion: look elsewhere for a retailer that is honorable and trustworthy! BUYER BEWARE!"

"Based on the reviews, great price, and low shipping cost, this was my choice. It turned out to be a very good choice. Ordered on a Friday and it was shipped from New York by FedEx and recevied by me in Hawaii by the folloiwng Thursday. Double boxed,all accessories included, and camcorder (Pansonic PV GS250) works fine. Based on my personal experience, I would highly recommend Digital Megastore. "

"I ordered a Sharp Aquos LCD tv on May 23. The sales rep assured me they were in stock and I specified Fedex 3 day delivery. I called back the next day as there was no tracking information and was told my order would go out that day. The next day, still no tracking info so I called and talked with a shipping dept. person. He said they were out of stock and waiting on a new shipment. So I am still waiting on my TV and the web site has shown this TV to be available every day even though it was out of stock. Will update in a couple of days. OK, it is now June 3, and I am now told that my tv will ship Monday. My credit card was charged the day of the order, May 23, so I am holding my breath that shipment is coming. My TV arrived on Tuesady in good shape. I am satisfied that Digital Megastore did all they could to get it to me as quickly as poaasible and I do recommend them."

"Waited 4 full days with absolutely no sign of life from the store.
After that, I -email the store, and only then they replied that they canceled my order - without notifying me and without calling me for the supposed reason.
Seems like the real reason was that they increased the price and didn't want to lose money on the order.
Also, there was no way to verify that the ordering process used secure http (https/SSL) when posting the credit card number - the order page used plain insecure http.

"the good: fast shipping, no pressure for accessories purchase.
the bad: not enough cushion for extra protection in the box. The camcorder box was in bad shape, it looks like it has been dropped or got smashed hard (not because of the shipment, since the ouside box was okay). the custormer service / operator is not friendly.
