"Scott assisted me over the phone when I had placed an order using a gift card and I wanted to make sure I completed full payment on my lens. After speaking with him about the lens I ordered I realized I had purchased the wrong lens! He found another lens suitable for my needs and was able to get me on the right track. I greatly appreciate the time he spent with me trying to find what I could use as an alternative to the lens I accidentally purchased. I got a great deal. And he was a huge help. "First off when you place an order they ask for you to write a review right then and there on there website. I declined since I haven't got the product, then they call me and send emails telling me to call them, when I do they tell me the lens I ordered is for film and they have another model for more money. I tell them to cancel, then I go back to the order and there website and see that they are false advertising. the picture of the one I ordered was correct on the website and there are no other models to choose from as he stated there was. I called him back to confront him with the matter and he started raising his voice at me then told me he was going to charge my card anyway, I had to close my card out at my bank and I told him I was calling the better business beura . Worst Scam ever!! STAY AWAY!"

"This is a 5 star company! They were excellent to talk to on the phone and help with my order as well as give great advice. "This place is a joke.. First of all, all the reviews on their website are not true. The website prompt people to write reviews right after they processed an online order so all the reviews were about how easy the ordering process was.. People didn't get a chance to review about the chaos of waiting, shipping and item quality...How I know? I went back in to write a review after my experience and guess what? I couldn't! Anyway, here's my story.. Two days after placing my order (Canon 70D camera), I got an email to call them and confirm my order so I did.. I called and was told the item will be shipped right away and will receive in 10-13 days. One week gone by and my creditcard hadn't been charged. I called in just to make sure that the item will still arrive in time as I need it for an event in two weeks.. And guess what they told me! The item is back-ordered.. What the! I asked why I was not informed this when I called in to confirm my order.. The guy said they sent me an email some days ago.. Liar!! I check my email on a second basis. He offered to sell me another version for around $200 more.. No. No.. No.. I cancelled my order right away...

Just went back on the website and the item is still listed for sale.. Nothing stating that the camera is out of stock! How crazy is that! Don't waste your time.

"Fooled me in to buying a camera that was import only model and then forced me to update to a higher priced model.
Extremely unfriendly and confrontational on the phone.

UPDATE: within hours of posting this review, I got a call from digitaloutlets.net. I was told that I need to remove my review otherwise they will cancel my order and charge me a 10% cancellation fee on my order.
I've refused to remove my review and instead asked them to give better service. Waiting to see what happens...
