"Placed an order and paid via paypal on 10/18/12. Recieved an email on 10/28 saying that the order had shipped. Their website also reflected this. On 11/13 they sent me an email "Warm Tips - Regarding Your Order" asking if I had recieved it yet. I replied that I hadn't. After several emails back and forth and them encouraging me to wait a month (putting things past the point of a dispute with paypal) I finally started the dispute with paypal. They blamed me. "Since you do not select the $2 insurance fee when you place the order." I do not remember an option for insurance nor do I think it should be required for them to actually ship you what you paid for. I have heard nothing further from them, have not recieved anything, and will have to escalate the paypal "dispute" to a "claim". The order tracking on their website has now changed. It used to say that the order was shipped 10/28 and now shows nothing beyond that the order was placed. This is the first time I have ever had a problem with purchasing anything online, or with using paypal. Needless to say, I will not make this mistake again and would encourage others to steer clear.
Imagine my surprise when, after the item did not come today, they told me that the only way they could issue a refund would be if I closed the paypal dispute. I guess I get to see whether or not paypal's protections are worth anything.

"If you haven't noticed yet, Dino Direct reviews are all coming from their own people. They have a lot of people who work for them. Some are good in English, some not quite. This is why you see thousands of good reviews on them. Beware people! Dino Direct will lie to you all they can! They will tell you they have the product when really it takes them weeks to get the product in stock! They will ask you what shipping method you like, they will send your items to you through their cheapest chosen shipping method. So why bother choosing what you like when they end up choosing it anyway???? Do not deal with them especially when you want something received at a certain time such as birthdays, parties or you have a little business going on. They take so slow in preparation, so slow in shipping. I am still waiting for my orders and I have no feeling of excitement anymore due to this awful experience. Maybe I will get my package, maybe I wont. I am never dealing with them again. And I wish they would think about closing their business. Also, please go to their FORUM under COMMUNITY. "Very annoyed and frusterated. Ordered a few simple items and paid extra for faster shipping...which is a waste of money, but was missing half of the order. I can understand items can be out of stock or discontinued, but not to notify the purchaser or reimburse them upon the sudden discovery that "oh no, we have none left" is very unproffesional. I had to recieve my package, discover myself that its missing items, and then track them down.
Once in contact with DD, it was a very frusterating arguement to get a reimbursement which i will hopefully recieve within a few days. This is the hour conversation that i had to endure to hopefully get reimbursed.
