"My car was sitting at a shop and waiting on exhaust. I told the rep when I ordered via phone, I didn't want to order if it was coming from california and would shop elsewhere. He put me on hold and checked and said he had one left in his Virginia warehouse and it would go out right away and I would receive it Monday or Tuesday. This was IMPORTANT as I had to get the car through emissions that Wednesday or incur a late fee. Monday I finally got my shipping confirmation that it was coming from California and I didn't receive it until Friday. I now have a late fee from the state emissions, and the shop charged me extra money for having to leave the car their for a total of 10 days due to this. I emailed driveline and never heard back. I did check my credit card and was only charged one time. I will NEVER buy from them again.

EDIT - 30 minutes after this review, I received a phone call from someone who monitors this review site. I told her the story and she refunded me $50. I am still very unhappy about how the transaction went down, but they DID make me whole and I appreciate it.

"I am so please with Drivewire.com. I couldn't believe how easy and fast it was to use this site.I ordered my parts and in two days they were at my door and the same afternoon in my car. For me from now on I will only order from Drivewire.com.My husband was bragging to all his friends how his wife ordered the parts from Drivewire. Most of the guys said their wives couldn't even buy the right oil for their cars..I just laughed because the secret was that Drivewire.com made everything so easy that I couldn't have ordered the wrong part. I totally love this site.It's my new bestfriend,Sincerely Sally Bordelon"

"I ordered two things and got charged twice for them. Had to talk to three different people to try to get my money back totaling of about two hour of my time. Was totally digusted with why they couldn't understand why the money came from my account twice. still waiting for this to be resolved. I will write a second review after its taken care of. "

The inaccurate delivery date could have been due to the weather. It was late by 2 days.

"Drivewire.com has got to be the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. If you don't believe me just scroll past the phony positive comments below this one and read the real stories people have put up. I ordered a set of shocks, struts and hardware for my 03 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. Got a email stating my credit card has not been charged yet and that I will receive a confirmation email when my card is either approved or declined. 10 minutes after the order was placed I went onto my credit card website and lo and behold my card was not charged once but 3 times! Once for $1 and twice for $308! Called and was put on hold for almost 10 minutes just to speak to a guy that was telling me my card had declined even though it shows on my cc page it was approved. And would not give me a straight answer to why I was charged double. After seeing all the negative comments left by other customers not to mention numerous "double charge" issues I decided to just beat them to the punch. While on hold ...again, I called my credit card company, had them reverse charges and block Drivewire.com from trying to run my card. And for added measure I just had them freeze the card and issue me a new card number. I'm not going to play games with some 2 bit boiler room outfit of a company. I am surprised this worthless company is still in business. Sorry for ranting but this company gives honest dot com sellers a bad reputation..."

"I've shopped several auto parts stores and websites and Drivewire.com is the best. Sometimes it's hard to find what I need for my 1994 Jaguar XJ6, but Drivewire.com has it, along with the best price and quick shipping. "Drivewire.com is run by a bunch of crooks. DO NOT BUY anything from this company. Their first offense was to double charge my charge card. They charged me twice for a single order. When I call to complain, they offer a raft of excuses leaving me to contact my bank to erase the additional bogus charge. Do not believe their nonsense about the additional charge being for the authorization before the actual debit.

Their second offense to pass your charge card information and email address to a fraudulent outfit called "Complete Savings" which shall then charge you an additional $12 per month for their "membership" that provides absolutely nothing. I have filed an FTC complaint against that bunch of crooks as well.

Save yourself the hassle and avoid these crooks.

"I ordered the part by 10:00 AM EST on Thursday, November 4. I requested and paid for overnight delivery. I called Thursday afternoon to ensure the package would be mailed. I was assured it would be. I called Friday morning to ensure the package was mailed, and was told it was shipped the previous day. By 7 PM Friday, I did not have my part. I called and was told it did not ship until Friday even though I ordered way before your cutoff time. My part w/shipping cost $203.87. You froze $203.87 from my account twice resulting in my not having access to that money for 5 days. When I called, I was told that was standard operating procedures. So, you froze the money twice (one for pre-authorization and one for actual payment), and you failed to mail the product when promised, then gave me the run around when I called. I am not sure I will order from your company again as this was not a positive experience. I finally received the part on Monday, but the total experience was not great."
