"I ordered a wheel bearing set for an 84 Porsche 944 because I heard I can get quality parts from Drivewire.I recieved the parts quickly however,I found I didn't need the parts and contacted Drivewire to make arrangements for a refund.I sent the parts back promptly.Waited for my credit but after two phone calls that also cost me due to the extra long wait both times when I was supposed to be the next person in line and both times the guys told me it needed to be submitted and it would be 24-48 hours,which one do I go by.Evidently neither because it's been over 48 hours.It really sux that on one hand if I don't pay my debts in a timely manor I'm a dead beat and get late charges and penalty's and interest and on the other some arrogant reeker like this just shoves hard working people aside like they don't amount to anything.One business man to another,you won't be in business much longer because you know as well as I do,word of mouth is the best advertisement.Not even the net can beat that. "The ordered item (starter with solenoid) arrived on time in just a few days after the order.
The item appears to be new as advertised.
The boxed item was supported inside a second box to cushion during shipping.
UPS tracking was nice so I knew the day to expect them to ring the doorbell.
There were instructions in the box to help get the alignment right (measure through the hole and, if needed, add appropriate shims to one or the other bolt connections).
Should be easy enough.
My old/previous starter/solenoid has only an intermittent problem and I haven't had time to switch to this new one yet. This installation delay was my own expectation, and the install delay was the reason why I ordered the part that doesn't require return of the old core.
