"We ordered two custom kitchen counter swivel stools and were thrilled as they were exactly what we were looking for.
They were very expensive, but, since it was what we wanted, we thought it was worth the 9 week wait, and that we would receive a quality product from the Amish.
Well...last weekend, my 70 year old husband fell over backwards in the chair, and I was mortified.
My husband knows and understands construction quite well, and looked at the way the chair was put together.
It is an inferior design, and he is surprised that this company has not been sued, and there is no way 4 small screws can hold this chair together for any length of time.
We will be calling for a complete refund, and cannot believe that we wasted 9 weeks and countless hours of research.
I can not believe that the Amish are making these chairs, as the quality is inferior.
Luckily, my husband fell on a hardwood floor, and was not seriously injured.
We had 2 toddler grandchildren visiting at the time, and it could have been them instead, and the outcome could have been much worse.

"My furniture is absolutely beautiful and I know that I will get years of use of my four chairs and triangular table. I wanted something unique to go in my eat in kitchen bay window and this fits perfectly. The craftmanship is outstanding. I am really appreciative of the step by step process in which Dutchcrafters notified me of what stage my order was in, and when the completion date changed, they informed me of that change. My only concern was delivery of my items - there was less than 24 hours notice as to when my items were to be delivered and this was difficult to arrange as I do not have a job that I can easily leave or get time off. Would have liked a little more notice as to when my items were to be delivered so that I could have made the necessary arrangements. Luckily my delivery person "Leon" was able to deliver my order to my husband's job. However if my husband had not been able to have the items delivered to his job I'm not sure how I would have received my order. "The curio cabinet arrived with a broken mirror. A new mirror was installed a week later. The stain on the cabinet is different on the legs as opposed to the body. The body is lighter. The inside matches the legs. The color on the legs is what I chose.
