"I bought a piece of crap front lip lasted that for 10 minutes after having it installed by a local body shop with 5 star reviews. According to ECS, it was an installation error even though it was installed by professionals at a prestigious shop. Avoid and save your money for a quality lip instead and shop on Urotuning instead. I spent over a thousand dollars on the ECS website alone, and after calling to resolve the issue I kept getting constantly denied of a refund or replacement and told the best they can do is issue me 25% off the same garbage lip that I recently purchased. Such a joke."

"I ordered two drive axles and installed one the first weekend. When I installed the second axle, the next weekend, it was apparent the first first axle was for a Manual version of my car, not the automatic. It fit, but was a thinner driveshaft material. It appears sloppy warehouse controls allowed them to ship a manual driveshaft in an automatics box, it doesn't come from the factory that way, it was possibly another return sold as new, just shoddy ethic. I called ECS and told them it was installed as I had no idea it was mislabeled. While working on the return, they made me buy a new drive shaft in-order to ship the correct part to me and issued an RMA for the wrong one, instead of accepting the error I had to be inconvenienced some more by shelling out another $215 to get the correct part. That should have been clue #1 on how horrible this company treats its customers. My mistake: I'm OK paying, their mistake: they should have stepped up to fix it without charging me again. Once I got the new driveshaft, I installed it and put it in the box to be returned. I got busy with my renovation at home and I realized a couple of months ago that it had not been shipped back. I called ECS and they issued a new shipping label and RMA number, again I told them it had been installed but inadvertently was sitting on the shelf in my garage. I was told not to worry, just ship it back to process the return. I did and last week I got a call from ECS tuning saying they weren't going to refund my money and if I wanted the part back I need to pay for the shipping, class act these guys. They make a mistake and will make you pay. I spend thousands of dollars a year with these guys and it's not the $215, it's the principle, they have yet to admit they caused this issue, and address it like a good company would, that is all I need to know that I won't spend another dime with them again. For me I will shop elsewhere going forward!! "

"They authorize the logistics cie to ship it back to them as soon as there is any glitch in the process. I missed 1 call from UPS, the last-mile driver never left any paper notice, I receive no other call, no email ever.
UPS shipped it back to ECS at an additionnal 265USD charge of course (almost 2 time the rate for the original path), then ECS charges fee as "it was refused by the customer" (which isn't true as I didn't had a chance of accepting or refusing anything...)
So 1 month, 400+ USD charges, no package, no actual way of preventing a lazy driver or any other weirdness in shipping.
Stay very far away of those money creeps they are in my opinion a net negative to the humanity."
"The ECS website specifically states the IE Intake fits a 2018 VW Atlas with VR6 engine. I have a screenshot as proof. That is false and inaccurate. According to IE, “this intake does not fit pre-2020 models.” ECS took my money and wasted my time. I spent 3 hours trying to install a product that was never going to fit. I now have to waste more time boxing up the product and driving it to a shipper, and then wait for my refund. I suggested that as a measure of customer goodwill and to make up for the inconvenience, they should give me the ECS brand intake at a discount (assuming that actually fits a 2018 Atlas). ECS told me to **** off and they don’t care about consumer satisfaction and goodwill. Then the representative deleted the online chat so there would not be a record of the customer mistreatment. To really insult the customer, they refused to process the return and forced me to call them for return authorization."
"I ordered a bunch of parts for my Mini S R60. My mechanic is patiently waiting on them so he can get my car back on the road.
Well they accidentally sent an extra bottle of antifreeze to me and asked for it back. I couldn't get to sending it back due to not having a ride all the time because again my car is in the shop.
These guys or now holding all my order's until they get a bottle of antifreeze back! You have to kidding me. I was a faithful customer to ECS but now I am done with them. Now I have to wait another 2 to 3 weeks until I can get my car back due to to them holding all my orders hostage until they get back a freaking bottle of antifreeze!"
"After my previous BBB complaint and accepting their resolution, ECS tuning has decide to retaliate and cancel two other existing orders I had with them. They also informed me they have blacklisted me from their site. Is this how you do business? Retaliating against customers legitimate complaints? Whatever bruised ego that made that decision is an idiot and is costing you money. You need to rethink your current hires stat! "
"I ordered a couple small parts. They delivered a bunch of garbage I didn't need and then refused to ship my order until I shipped their garbage back. Business doesn't work this way. You make the mistake then fix it. Don't take my money, fail to deliver what I ordered, fail ship it out when it's clear you've made a mistake, and then hold my order and money hostage to cover your failures. First and only order. Waiting to see if they will actually return my money or if I need to dispute it. 6.5 weeks since I placed the original order."
"I ordered some parts for my car. Not all were received. They refused to refund me for the part that was out of stock so i did a charge back with my bank. The claim was closed as ECS lied stating i had received all parts. I have tried since march to resolve this. The part was rod berrings totaling $624. They said that the claim still shows opened on there end so they could not refund me. I have provided proof from the bank that there was no claim open as they asked and also had my bank call them directly to advise no claim was open. They continue to say that its open on there end even though i provided proof and they refuse to refund me. Normally claims are resolved within 30 days and i have been fighting this since march 2022. I attempeted to do another charheback for the amount and again denied from ECS. They stole my money and this is fraud. I never received the parts and now they refuse to refund me and continue to lie when i have provided proof. They owe me $624. They are thieves. I spoke with Patrick, Tiffany and Amanda Hartline. All have refused to help and get this resolved. They make you run around to get proof and then say they cant do nothing for you. Excuses constantly made and no resolution.
