Quick Shipping

"I was really amazed by how quick my textbook shipped. I was expecting to have to do some catch up with reading because my class had already started by the time I ordered my book but it came before my second class period (1 week later). The book was also the cheapest I could find it, even cheaper than the ebook equivalent. "

Gave me no due date or noifications. Also charged me without notice.

"Got my textbook but I was only sent one email that my textbook was delivered with no due date. I was never notified again. I figured I'd sent in the textbook after the semester ended. Which was around christmas time. They still charged me and I still did not recieve any noification. I waitied til my refund was processed. Which they also did not sent any emails on. Recently spoke to someone from support, I showed them the email with the missing due date. They told me they sent out emails and phone calls, which I never recieved. Then they try to pin the blame on me for not noifiying
them. According to their company policies on cases like this, they only give back 75% back refund. From their lack of communication and understanding, I will not go back.

Update: eCampus tried to remove my review because they did not believe me. Well here you go eCampus, Order 9035628.

“I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Our policy for rental items is that they must be in transit on or before the due date using the prepaid label we provided. As your item was not in transit in this time frame and we received no prior request for an extension, your account was charged for the non-return fee of the purchase price for the item. Per policy, so long as you can return the item to us within 15 days of the original due date, you are eligible to receive 75% of this charge back to your account. As a one-time courtesy, I have added the other 25% as in-store credit to the account. Please let us know if you need any further assistance. Thank you -Erin”

Terrible customer service. Good luck getting a response.

"I sent this email to ecampus on SEPT 07, 2019 - I ordered this book on 8/30/19 and waited a full week (9/06/19) before trying to contact ecampus.com to ask why it had not shipped yet. I made contact and never heard back from them. Then about an hour later miraculously, my book has a confirmation showing it has shipped. But I still could not track it. Now (9/07/19) I am able to track it and tracking says it will arrive on 9/10/19. That is eleven days after I placed the order and paid $17.99 for expedited 2-day shipping. This is unacceptable. That is not 2-day shipping. ON OCTOBER 09, 2019 (over a month later) - I received this response - According to tracking number: 1Z29E3W50294771065 your package was delivered on 9/10/19. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY CHARGED ME $17.99 AND IT TOOK 11 DAYS TO GET THE BOOK."

Would not recommend for an actual student!

"I reached out to their customer service to purchase a book I have on rental and I saw that the cost to buy the book is about the price of a new book, which is not right for a used book on top of the rental fee I paid which is about 50% of the price of a new book, so full price of a new book plus 50% more for a used book?! Other services like Chegg allow you to pay the difference. If paying the difference wasn't an option I was okay with paying about 1/3 of the book price to extend the book till the end of the next semester, but that price only covers a little over half the semester, not till the end. I asked if I can have it extended over a month and I was told it can be extended up to 15 days which is absurd that ecampus cannot offer reasonable prices to extend to the end of a semester. If I paid extra after the next semester rental period, it would come out to the price of a new book for an old rental! I regret not reading the other reviews and giving them the benefit of the doubt."

Says items are in stock, when they are not.

"Tried to order a book that they seemingly had in stock, only to call them and learn that they didn't have it in stock to begin with. I asked to cancel the order and get a refund. They cancelled the order, but my Paypal account doesn't show the amount I paid has been refunded. eCampus says it takes 3-5 business days to show up, however Paypal says it should have showed up right away. Paypal suggested filing a dispute, but when I told them about other people who've had similar problems with eCampus, they immediately elevated it to a claim. Now I have to possibly wait till November 26th to see my refund. Also customer service didn't seem to know how Paypal works, since an agent said they'll deny the claim because they said they issued the refund and thought that would be it. Even though I told them that a Paypal agent assured me that they didn't issue a refund in the first place, hence why the claim was started. I guess my next call will be to the Better Business Bureau since it seems like they're scamming me and others out of money."
