"As most consumers know, the best deals on electronics are always online. I found my Panasonic 65" at their website for at least $200 less than any competitor (for a $3000 TV, that is a very good savings - certainly beat Best Buy/Frys). Delivery was on time and pretty quick to California from NY, and it was free. Wasn't FEDEX or UPS - they have their own delivery system. Guys were totally professional and gentle with the expensive TV. They carefully unwrapped it and plugged it in to show that is was working. No dents or dings to the outside box, so the the contents weren't disturbed. Excellent experience from start to finish."

"I have checked out many online sites and local stories like Fry's and BestBuy for a Samsung LED 3D TV, and I found eastcoasttvs.com offers the lowest prices and have the best reviews for flat screen TVs. At first I was worries about spending over $2k to purchase a Samsung un60es7500 3D TV online (best deal for this model), but I am glad I did order it from eastcoasttvs.com. Overall I am very satisfy with the services and the order I have received from eastcoasttvs.com. I got a brand new TV delivered in a reasonable time with the free standard delivery service I have picked. The important thing was that the delivery guys unpack and power on the TV for inspection to ensure nothing wrong at the time of the drop off, and received I follow-up calls from customer service. Look no further my friends, I highly recommend this place to anyones who are looking to purchase TV at low price with excellent service unless you can find a better deal and service elsewhere. I'll definitely come back to buy TV here."

"EC TV's had the best price for the Samsung UN55ES6600. They said it was in stock and would ship out in a day or two. I was told a tracking number would be emailed to me as soon as it is shipped.
The salesperson tried to upsell me the 7100, but it was over my max. He tried to upgrade shipping to white glove, but I declined (He gave it to me anyways for the basic shipping rate of $40.00.). Oh, then comes the required insurance charge! The price is still good, so I'm feeling good.
A few days go by and no tracking number. I tried tracking my order, but the login page wasn't initially working. Finally, on the third day, I am able to login and check the status. Next to the item, the status says "processing". After 5 or 6 days, an Order Status field appears and says "Ready to Ship". The following Monday, 8 full days after placing my order and still no shipping notice, I decided to call them. I am told it was shipped on Friday, 7/13. That's strange since the Order Status, even to this day, says "Ready to Ship". I am told I would get an email sent to me by COB. It never arrived.
I'm getting concerned now, so I call back on Tuesday. This time I am told he tried to call me, but the phone number was incorrect. And the reason he was trying to reach me? Because the TV "was damaged during shipping!" (where have I heard this before?) and they don't have any more of this model. He would sell a lower model for the same price or for $140.00 more, I could get the 7 series model. I am still constrained by a budget ceiling, but I was able to negotiate a more acceptable price difference.
I haven't decided if I am going to continue this rollercoaster ride. The hassle has been equal to the great price. What I, and some of the other customers have experienced, are classic bait and switch techniques. I cannot overlook this fact. Ultimately, are the lowest prices worth being subjected to these tactics? I will update this review when my transaction comes to a close.

UPDATE: Although I do not agree with some of ECTV’s business practices, they differentiate themselves from most of the other New York-style web stores in one critical way: they care about their reputation. Less than 4 hours after posting my experience, I received a call from Tony. He was apologetic and wanted to make things right. For $50.00 more, he agreed to sell me the UN55ES7100! Obviously, there isn’t much, if any, profit margin at this price. His only request was that I amend my post so people know that the problem was resolved.
An hour and a half after our conversation, I received another call from Tony. He told me the TV has been shipped and he gave me the tracking number. I checked my email inbox and found the order confirmation. Now that is good customer service!

I am raising my overall satisfaction to 4 stars because of the excellent price and the improved customer service. However, I cannot give 5 stars because of the earlier problems.

"We waited for the arrival of my grill which was supposed to be between 3 and 7 pm today. We got a call that the trucking company didn't have my grill. Apparently a mistake was made on the model number of the grill that was shipped.

I just heard from the manager and he is going to try to make it right and get me the grill before the end of the week. He is going to call me tomorrow with a new delivery date. I will update the review after I receive the grill.

Update: Well they came through in a big way. I received several calls from the shipping company and the manager of East Coast TV and they delivered the grill to me on Thursday night. The delivery team was friendly and efficient.

I have to say they made a mistake intially on the order, but they made it up in a big way with great customer service. Thank you East Coast TV!

"The low advertised price ($2872) for the Panasonic TC-P65VT50 got my attention and I ordered it from the East Coast TVs website. I opted for the "white glove delivery" to get the TV delivered into my family room and powered on to make sure everything was ok prior to signing off on the delivery. They were "running a special for $99" for delivery.
So, that's $2872 for the TV and $99 for upgraded delivery for a total of $2971. That's my math. What showed up on my credit card was $3000. After contacting them with the issue they have promised to correct it.

"WHAT A RIP OFF!!!. Never do business with them. After reading several customer reviews I hesitated but gave them a chance anyways. First I ordered an 82inch tv with their supposed "paycheck" discount word. The next morning David calls me to tell me that the discount only applys to people paying in cash. Really how do you pay in cash over the internet?? That should have been my first clue. Secondly he states that my total charge will be $1553.00 Three days later I calls to ask for a tracking number. David tells me the TV is leaving the warehouse and that he will call me later that day or the next and provide me with a tracking number. David does call later but now says they have to cancel the order because they can't ship that TV. Hmmm, haven't they sold that TV before? After hanging up the phone with David I call my credit card and EastCoastTV charged $1692.00 not the $1553.00 they had told me. After several calls placed back to East Coast my money was finally refunded.

**ADDENDUM Within minutes of posting this review East Coast TVs customer service manager Tony contacts me and assures me that he will be charging me $1499 to have the 82in TV delivered. I will retract my review and change my rating once I receive my TV in perfect working condition.

2nd Update. My TV finally arrived today after I placed a phone call to the shipping company and got the expected "We were just about to call you" response. What the 2 men were going to deliver to me was a completely smashed TV. A quick call to Arlene was placed along with photos of the damage. She says she will get back to me tomorrow with a response. Tony seems to have turned over my account to Arlene. Just a side note. Got the bill from the credit card company. Guess I have to make a payment on something I have yet to recieve, just doesn't seem right. Tony where are you?? Your website says delivery within 7 to 10 business days. Its been 18 and counting. Tony are you listening??

Ok Final review. After 45 days of my initial order I finally got a working TV. Thank you Arlene. Because of the afore mentioned incidents I can only change to 3 stars.
