"My shopping experience was dreadful! Thank goodness when the tv was finally delivered it was in excellent shape! Shortly after placing my order online I received a phone call from a hostile customer service rep, who later stated "what are you going to do put a gun to my head?" The online process was easy, but I started to regret my decision to place an order with this company after the customer service rep told me I would need to pay an additional $189 to deliver my tv that could not be delivered to my home address, even though my address was included in the company's delivery coverage area. The manager was gracious enough to pick up the $189 extra delivery cost! After several heated and very upsetting phone conversations a manager came on the phone and smoothed things over. It was very heartfelt to talk to a manager who cares so compassionately about his company! For my trouble the manager shipped a new 3D blu-Ray player to go with the tv. The trucking company that delivered the tv to the final destination never updated the shipping info online, even after the tv had been delivered the tracking online stated "in transit from New York". I understand that the trucking company was a seep rate entity from the company I purchased the tv through. The overall experience was very nerve racking and uncomfortable, it made more apprehensive to do business with an online company halfway across the country. Shortly after submitting the review I received a pleasant phone call from the manager who was willing to bend over backwards to make things right, including punitive measures towards the awful initial customer service associate, who was not a great representative of the manager's company. I am likely to do business with this company again, thanks to the above and beyond efforts of the manager, thank you!"

"I accidentally stumbled across East Coast TVs website while price comparing for the Samsung UN60F7100. Not only did they offer the best price, but they had free shipping as well. I decided to upgrade the shipping for $40 and received it in 6 days (not sure how long it would've taken normally). The men who delivered the TV carried it up 2 flights of stairs for me, and they also helped me un-box it as well. They were very concerned that I was satisfied with my purchase and with their customer service. I have already recommended East Coast TVs to at least a few people. And I will be a repeat customer!"

"Original online advertised price for TV was $2299, I placed the order, and then received a "verification" phone call from one of their sales representatives. He insisted on adding $67 for "shipping insurance" which on top of the "free shipping"...then he tried to force me into paying $249 for "White Glove" Delivery, I resisted, so he lowered the additional cost to $199, then $99...??? I said no to the White Glove Delivery additional charge. I then called them back the next day and told them I was uncomfortable with their sales technique and said that I no longer wanted to buy from them; they then decided to throw in the White Glove Delivery service. The delivery actually arrived in excellent condition and is working fine."

"I purchased a Samsung 75 inch F8000 model TV on 11-25-2013. I placed the order online and received a phone call immediately confirming the order. The sales person (Michael) was professional and friendly. Consistent with other reviews he pushed the white glove delivery and shipping insurance. I agreed to both with the full understanding this is actually a commission for the sales person or increased profit for the company. I had been researching for several weeks and had visited several Best Buy locations and they all refused to match the price offered by East Coast TV. The price offered including the white glove delivery and insurance was $1600 lower than I could purchase locally. It also was $800 lower than I found on EBAY at the time. When you consider I also avoided paying local and state tax their price allowed me to save $2100 23% compared to the advertised Black Friday pricing and 29% lower than Best Buy's normal price.
You can either be offended by the games that gray markets sellers use or simply be glad they exist and enjoy the saving. I will not hesitate to purchase from East Coast TV again. The only thing I can say negative I can about the experience is the shipping status was not updated for one week after the sale. However I was pleased when the TV was delivered 10 days after the purchase. My experience with AM Home Delivery was very good. They called the day before they delivered the TV and gave me a four hour delivery window. I called the next morning and they narrowed the delivery time to two hours. The driver called 30 minutes prior to arrival and arrived on-time. There were two drivers and they were both friendly and professional as well. I hope to do business again in the future."
