We were a little concerned based on the not so nice things that Big Box employees have to say but found none of these things to be true. Our TV was new and had a serial number (we were told it wouldn't by Big Box). We did order the white glove service so the tv came much faster and the delivery men opened it and turned it on. The tv is still in a box waiting to move so I don't have a lot to say about the actual tv, but from what I can tell, it's going to be awesome. Would definitely order another tv from east coast. They asked if I would write a review, but unlike a lot of companies, they did not call first and fish for a perfect score. (Like car service at dealerships!)"

"This is my first order placed on EastCoastTvs.com and was not sure how it would go, particularly because I'm buying an expensive Samsung TV (over $2,000) and shipment is important too. The overall shopping and shipping experiences are excellent. It only took three days for them to ship the merchandise and I received it in two more days. They delivery process was smooth: two guys came and delivered the TV to my living room, hooked up to the outlet and turned on TV. Everything looked fine.
I would say the only thing I did not like is that their advertisement does not say they will charge you delivery insurance, which pretty much offset the "free delivery." It's highly unusual to charge delivery insurance when you say shipment is free.
That said, their price is still among the lowest, therefore I would still recommend them."

The delivery man came in opened the box inspected the tv and turned it on to make sure that it worked. "I purchased my TV through the internet from East Coast TVs. The process was easy, the TV arrived in good shape and the deliverymen made sure all corners were not damaged and that the TV turned on. One issue was the discount code which generated a call explaining that I was not eligible for the discount since I had not sent in a certified check and was paying by VISA. The sales rep worked very hard to sell me an extended warranty, "white glove" delivery (which would set up the tv in my home), etc. He said I needed that because delivery was "to the curb" only and I would have to get it into my home myself. When I informed him that East Coast invoice required me to check-out the TV before signing the delivery receipt so the deliverymen would have to wait until I lugged it into my home, unpacked it, inspected it, and plugged it in to insure it worked before I would sign. He said they wouldn't wait for me to do all that. Only when I said I was cancelling the order did he back off and put it through. The office staff that coordinated my delivery was informative, polite and pleasant and I would rate them 5 star - my motivation for submitting this review however the initial call I received was justification for lower the rating to 2 stars."
"Very friendly! I didn't expect the phone call from them confirming everything. I got a really good deal on the price of the TV and also got a nice extended warranty on it. The total price (warranty and all) was about the same price as just the TV itself from many other stores. No complaints at all!"
