"I decided shopping a big TV online rather than buying from store. According to my wife, this is a bit risky but I don't think so. As long as I can find a good reseller. So I did lots of researches about resellers' feedback before placing the order. East Coast TVs came up with pretty good reviews and highly recommended from shoppers so I gave it a try.
At first, I've had an issue with my order though East Coast TVs due to the item is too big and pretty expensive to ship to Vermont. I'm a bit upset due to the Christmas is getting closer and I want to order the TV as the gift for the family. But Tony, the manager called me saying that he'll try his best to make me and my family happy even though East Coast TVs could loose some money.
The order is processing now and I hope I'll receive the TV as Tony's promised since according to him, one of primary missions of East Coast TVs is making customers happy.
I'll update more when I received the TV!
Update as 12/23/12:
I did receive the TV and everything works well as Tony's promised. My kids are really love the big screen and the most important thing that it came just before Christmas as a gift from Santa Tony. Thank you!

"Excellent price, product, and service. Got the product (a panasonic Panasonic 55" VT Series Plasma HDTV - TCP55VT50) as promised."
"I was shopping for a specific 80"flat screen TV and East Coast turned up in my search with a price $1400 less than my local big box store. This was also significantly less than any other place I could find. I called to confirm and was satisfied it was the real deal. I ended up buying a 70" but had a similar pricing advantage. I am out of their free shipping range, so paid for white glove shipping and still saved a significant amount, including my very high local sales tax. I made 3 contacts with them by phone. Everyone I spoke with was knowedgable and helpful. The order and shipment went like clockwork. The white glove shipping went well. THe delivery guys did a nice and careful job uncrating the TV, assembling it and powering it up. there was no damage and it is functioning perfectly. East Coast is worth checking out even if you are not in their free shipping zone."
"I was a little worried at first ordering from East Coast TVs, because of plain look of their web site, not being well known, and the awesome low prices...but...I decided to buy a 70' Sharp Aquos TV anyways. Apparently I made the right choice! I saved $500 compared to buying the same TV from Best Buy! The shipping estimate was 7-10 business days, but I received it in 4 days instead. Two delivery guys brought it in opened the box, and made sure it turned on with no issues. Therefore, I see no reason to buy the extra "white glove" service from them. The guy that called me to confirm my order wanted me to upgrade my warranty from a shipping warranty to a in-home warranty for an extra fee. Seemed fishy, so I declined even though he was pushy about it, and the white glove service. I decided to set it up myself. A month later and its now wall mounted and looks amazing. Overall, I'm happy with East Coast TVs, and would buy from them again."
"Denon AVR1913 7.1 Channel Receiver was the cheapest anywhere. It arrived as described, brand new, in box, and on time. I'll shop here again! "
"I purchased an Sharp AQUOS 80" 844 Series LED HDTV - LC-80LE844U TV and I am very happy with it. The controls are easy to understand and use. I haven't used the 3D as yet because i need to purchase special 3D glasses. I have found them as low as $38.00 a pair on Google Shopper so check it out. The service from East Coast was as they promised. Be sure to check their web site after you make a purchase because their prices change often. Mine did as the TV lowered by about $150.00 two days after i purchased it. I called them and they honored the price reduction and credited my purchase. I thought that was really nice. All in all this has been a nice experience."
"great service. spoke on phone right after order and was walked through entire delivery process. very reliable. very prompt.
would totally recommend... "
"A Disclaimer before I write this extensive review, which will be pretty much a step-by-step narrative of my customer experience, I AM a satisfied customer, I was NOT asked to write this review by East Coast Tvs nor paid by them. I have also, before this transaction, never done business with these guys along with the trucking company they contract. Here we go:
I have been lurking the price variation of the Panasonic TC-P65vt50 on amazon and other sites I've done business with. Searches, however, kept popping up with two resellers, one being PowerSellerNYC and East Coast TVs. I decided to take a risk and check out both of these venues based on reviews, prices, shipping company used, etc. Turns out East Coast TVs, regardless of "bad" reviews received by them, was the better choice overall.
So I placed the order for the TV (11/26/12) with East Coast with Free Shipping, and an added 2% discount code advertised on their website. Later that day, I got a call from a manager, Kenny, to discuss my order. He stated that the discount code could not be applied because I paid with a credit card, and that the code applies to a check or money order payment only. The code was "Paycheck", made perfect sense after fact. Next, he said since I lived so far away from NJ (Alabama), it would take at least 3-4 weeks to ship my product, where for a small additional shipping fee with insurance, it'd be in my place within 7 to 10 days and ships the next day. I don't understand reviews of people saying they're being pushing the service on customers; They're Northerners. They speak fast, their accent is slightly aggressive, but I didn't feel "rushed" or "pushed around". So I opted for it. I then received another confirmation email with the adjusted prices. That is relieving.
Unfortunately, my order did not ship the next day (11/27/12) because the payment took 3 days to process. (I know this because I got skeptical when I didn't and called my credit card company to verify the payment, and they stated as such) As soon as the payment cleared, I received a confirmation email stating the order had shipped. (11/30/12)
Now, the shipping company they used is called AM Trucking. Overall service is satisfactory. Their website is slightly second-rate, at least for me it was. In my experience with the site, I only received two updates about my order when tracking: "electronic billing info received" and "in transit to GA" which is my terminal from NY head office. Aside from the site, their customer service is also quite satisfactory.
So I decided to keep tabs on my order by calling them usually every other two days, which worked better than tracking on the site. I received a call on Wednesday (12/5/12) evening from AM trucking NY office scheduling a delivery for Saturday (12/8/12) between 10am-2pm. I confirmed the appointment on Friday (12/7/12) with a customer Rep in the GA office and everything was greenlight.
Saturday came around and 11 rolled by, no call or knock. 1pm rolled by, nothing. 3 pm came by, nothing. What the hell, right? I called AM trucking and the office was closed. I tried to call EC and they were also closed. I had no control, so I decided to wait until Sunday (12/9/12) to call MY rep from East Coast, Kenny, and let him know what was going on.
I called at about 9am and discussed with Kenny what exactly happened. Kenny assured me that I would get my TV for sure, however AM offices were closed Sunday as well, so he asked me to call him back on Monday to further address the issue. Sure, no problem. Then, about an hour later, the AM Trucking driver had called me and stated that the truck had broken down, and if I'd be home within an hour and a half, they'd have my TV delivered. PLEASE NOTE that my disappointment IS NOT with East Coast. It was with AM trucking because I really hoped I'd get a call from the Driver stating the problem the day of the problem and rescheduling the next day, rather than the day after where the driver had already made the decision to make the delivery. However, all is forgiven as the service of the delivery was good. They brought the TV upstairs to my Apt, plugged it in, and let me examine the TV for any damages while on before signing off the delivery.
So, all in all, a pretty good experience with a vendor I've never done business with, along with a delivery company I've never heard of. Aside from the one mishap on the delivery side, everyone I dealt with over the phone was exceptionally nice, caring, and friendly. I felt like an actual person with these people, aside from just a potential sale.
I understand unfortunate experiences, but after me personally dealing with East Coast and AM Trucking, some of these "bad experiences" don't really make sense. Seems more like an angry review rather than an understandable negative review. I'd do business with them again for sure. Thanks Kenny, for helping me trust your operation."
"I received by Panasonic 65" TV it was plugged in, worked, and no damage. The price was the best price possible. I found out about 2% insurance and shipping protection (whie glove treatment) after the fact, but it still beat everyone's price."
"Reliable place to buy your TV for a great price."
"Sorry it took so long to write this review; I have too many irons in the fire to keep them all organized. East Coast TVs was great to deal with. The TV was delivered on time and in good condition. The delivery men did unpack the TV ad plug it ijn to make sure there were no dead pixels, but that's all they would do. I thought they might mount the base and set it on top of my entertainment center for me but they said that was not included in the service. As far as the TV itself goes it's great. I ordered the Panasonic 55" ST Series Plasma HDTV; model # TCP55ST50. Once set up is complete the wireless feature works beautifully. The built in speakers are mounted in the back and leave a lot to be desired. I have not had a chance to feed an HDMI signal to the TV yet; so I can't rate the picture with that feature yet. I do stream Netflix and it's a very good picture although it is not in true HD; it is quite good. I do highly recommend a surround sound system to get the most benefit from your TV. If anything changes I will add and update to my review."
"Definitely the best price I found for a new television. I did notice they are pushing the peripherals for the TV, so make sure you have found everything you will need before purchasing!"
"TV is very good, working out of the box. The picture and sound is very good. TV is brand new and price lower than anywhere. The shipping takes time and Home White Glove Delivery not bad service. I am very satisfied."
"Great TV at a great price. Thanks!"
"Excellent service, the 70" TV was exactly as described and this is the second purchase in a year from East Coast TV. I also bought a Weber S670 earlier this year and both purchases and deliveries were without a hitch. Would highly recommend East Coast TV for all purchases."
