I read ALL the articles that were sent to me, put in a lot of time and effort into my profile and responses, and in return I was rewarded with several men lying about their age, insulting me, and emailing from the month I registered until the month I cancelled but never actually asking me out. Oh, and let's not forget the one guy who burped in my face. I would like to take my entire profile down, but as others have complained before, eH does not let you. "

"Eharmony is the only online dating site that I found that will give you quality people serious about finding a mate. Although the flakes and crazies do get through, it's not anywhere near as bad as other dating sites. I like that I didn't have to wade through dozens of profiles full of "fluff" garbage and out-dated pictures.
The down side is I sent out a couple dozen inquiries to matches that never responded before I realized that these were the "free" profiles that couldn't respond because they weren't paid members. Only paid members can contact you. The solution was simple, instead of sending out inquiries, I only responded to potential matches that sent me inquiries, that way I knew they were paid members and serious about finding a mate. I found my current spouse through eharmony that way."
